Chapter 30: The Alchemy Room
After leaving the archdemon behind, Wren went on a rampage in the direction of the cell he was pointing at.
When he hits the wall, he smashes his head, and when someone stops him, he slaps it away, and if something stands in his way, he smashes it with a fist.
Along the way, there were bursts of exclamations, and a large number of demons rushed around, panicking.
As he delved deeper into the castle, Wren found that the scene around him became more and more disgusting.
From time to time, there were faint wails and terrible weepings, and the walls no longer looked like slowly wriggling oil, but like the waters of the River Styx, in which you could see the spirits roaring and struggling.
This situation became more and more obvious when it came to the alchemy room that the Great Demon was talking about.
Occasionally, a pair of arms would reach out from the ground or the wall, tugging at Wren, and when Wren looked closely at them, those arms disappeared without a trace, as if they had never existed.
There are a lot of bottles and cans of things in the alchemy room, and when Wren broke through to a room, he also found a large vat that emitted a foul smell and a smell of blood.
The demons here are also a little different from the previous ones, they look like humans, or they are humans.
All of these people had blank eyes, grim expressions, and most notably, they had a beetle-like thing on their heads.
The bugs had one pair of short legs and two pairs of long legs, the short legs embedded in the temples of these people, and the long legs downward, against their cheeks, and into their mouths.
It looks very weird.
These people should be the alchemists here, and when Wren caught them, he didn't say a word, and directly pinched and exploded the worms on their heads and pulled out those claws. Some of them passed out and fell to the ground, while others ran out screaming. The rest of them fell to their knees and begged Wren for mercy, crying that they were being persecuted.
Wren casually picked one up from the ground, "What are you alchemy room mainly doing?!" β
"Yes, it's a medicine to cure people......."
"Medicine?" Wren snorted coldly, and carried this person to the vat that he had knocked over before, and before he could get to the front, just a few meters away, the alchemist began to vomit.
Wren pointed to the black liquid that had fallen to the ground, and the smell of blood was getting thicker and thicker: "You said that thing is a medicine for people?" Then you give me a sip and see! β
As he spoke, he pulled the alchemy room towards the liquid on the ground, and the alchemy room kept struggling, his legs kicking the ground, as if he didn't want to get close to the unknown liquid.
"No, no, those things can't be drunk!"
Wren shifted his hand to grab the alchemist's neck from behind, and then pressed his head down, leaving his face just a few centimeters away from the disgusting liquid: "Why can't you drink it?" If you don't tell me what these are, you'll have to give me a taste of them today!" How else do I know if it's drinkable? β
The alchemist saw that his gaze was getting closer and closer to the ground, and quickly closed his eyes. But he was still dizzy from the liquid, and he was scared by Wren like this, and he lost all his guts. He shouted, "Don't let me drink this, I say, I say!" β
Wren then lifted the alchemist up and threw him aside.
After the other party fell to the ground, he cried bitterly and vomited.
Wren shouted: "If you want to vomit later, hurry up and be honest, or do you really want to drink that thing?!! β
"I say I say!" The alchemist had a lot of snot and tears, and cried and said, "Those things are made from human blood, flesh, and brains, mixed with a lot of precious medicines...... Vomit! β
Speaking of which, it may be that he thought that he was so close to those things before, and the alchemist vomited again.
The anger in Wren's heart soared: "What is the purpose of you doing these things, and how many people have you killed?!! β
The alchemist continued to vomit.
Wren was a slap in the faceβhe hadn't thought the castle would be so vicious.
"Hurry up!"
"Those are sacrifices. Our master, Disak, was always looking for a way to become a god, and he tried many things, and he obtained an ancient book from a long time ago, which recorded some forbidden summoning rituals, including the ritual of summoning gods, in which human flesh and blood were sacrificed. Mistress Disak wanted to see the gods and see if he could be one of them, so he decided to activate the summoning ritual above. So by some means, such as being able to accept the blessings of heaven here, to heal any injuries and diseases, to trick people into coming to the castle, and then ......."
Wren gritted his teeth and said, "How many people have you hurt?" β
"There are about 200 of them, maybe 300, and when they send them over, they will be just sparse materials.......
"More than three hundred ......" Wren looked at the disgusting liquid on the ground, and the anger in his heart could no longer be suppressed.
The alchemist saw Wren's clenched fist, afraid of what he would do to him, and hurriedly said, "My lord, this is the last batch you see, because it took too much time, Lord Disak has lost patience with this summoning ritual, so he basically gave up." β
Wren slapped down again: "You dare to lie to me? You've been luring people here lately! β
"Stop fighting, don't fight! The castle continues to arrest people, and that's because Master Disak has found a new way! The alchemist hugged Wren's leg and cried bitterly: "My lord, I will tell you everything, you don't beat me again." Master Disak recently met a witch named Kenna. Lady Kenna is said to be very famous in high circles, and many noble officials have experienced her magic potion. After meeting Ms. Kenna through a friend of his, Mr. Disak stumbles upon her and learns from her that Ms. Kenna is working on a potion that can make people become gods if taken for a long time. Master Desack invited her to the castle to fund her research and provide her with research materials. β
"What is the research material?" Wren asked coldly, he already vaguely knew the answer to this question in his heart, but he still couldn't believe it.
"The marrow of man....... And Master Kenna said that children under the age of 10 have better bone marrow......"
Wren closed his eyes, if so, the child of the Sith was afraid.......
He knocked the alchemist unconscious with a punch and sped away in the direction of the depths of the castle, in the direction of the cell.
Now, it's important to save people, but the owner of the castle, that Desack, and Kenna the witch, must be punished!
