(Dungeon Interrogation)
Earl's Castle, inside the dungeon.
Kellia and Aina were bound to the torture rack, ropes that kept their bodies motionless. At this moment, Aina is still unconscious, and the effect of the anesthetic will last for about 3 hours, and it is estimated that she will not wake up until night.
Illusionists have the ability to cloak, shapeshift, and clone, while witches have the ability to summon undead creatures and escape into a flock of crows. The only way to do this is to tie them up so that their bodies don't move.
After Roy and Glia escorted them to the castle, they went their separate ways. They didn't go to the dungeon with Brandt, and the interrogation of the prisoners had nothing to do with them.
Brant learns from Glia that the witch is actually the princess of the Sea Rock Islands and a priestess. As fate would have it, she fell in love with Prince Jason, who had come from abroad to fight against her father in order to obtain the Golden Fleece. However, this marriage ended in tragedy. She knows how to use a lot of black magic, she can concoct elixirs, divination, poisoning. Not only is she a strong spell, but she is also very clever and cruel, and she once killed her own brother with her own hands for Jason's sake. Later, because of Jason's empathy and marriage to the princess of the neighboring "Elia Kingdom", Aina, who was abandoned by her lover, was angry and made a dress stained with poison, gave it to Jason's fiancΓ©e, and killed her. He even killed two of Jason's children with his own hands, and finally left him sadly, joining the assassination group shortly after.
Glia only knew that the illusionist was from the "Meereen Kingdom", and as for Kelya's identity, she was still a mystery, and she never mentioned it to anyone.
Brant looked at the illusionist in front of him. Said pleasantly. "I have some questions for you. If you can answer truthfully, maybe I'll spare your life. β
Kellia didn't hesitate and responded directly, "Whatever you want to ask, ask!" Nothing is more important to her than her life, as long as she can live and let her do anything. And the fact that her former companions, Glia and Wick, were able to survive under the hands of the boy in front of her, made her even more determined.
Brandt looked at the other party for a long time and was speechless in surprise, and the other party's attitude was completely unexpected. He didn't expect the illusionist in front of him to agree to his request so happily. I thought that I needed to use some torture tools to force the other party to speak.
Kellya asked with a light smile, "Why don't you believe I'm telling the truth?"
Brandt didn't want to go around the bush with her, so he asked her bluntly, "Who is your behind-the-scenes employer?" and that was the answer he wanted most. Although he had doubts about someone, he had no evidence to be sure.
"The behind-the-scenes employers are known only to a few core members of the organization. Kylia told the truth. She joined the assassination organization for seven years and assassinated no less than 30 people. But every time, from receiving the task, then going to perform the task, to finally completing the task. Never met an employer.
Brant hesitated for a moment, then asked. "Do you have any other companions in the city?"
"There's no one else, just the two of us. Kylia regretted that she shouldn't have made a light move. Otherwise, it wouldn't have ended up here. She slandered in her heart, and in the end, she despised the other party's ability, and she was too conceited.
"Is Witton Redwing one of your men?" Brandt hoped from the bottom of his heart that Sir Witton had nothing to do with the matter, not only because he was a strong knight, but more importantly, Brandt didn't want to break with the Redwyn family completely.
"Witton?" said Kylia, "I've never heard that name." She knew most of the people in the Assassination Organization, but she had never heard anyone in the organization call him by that name.
Brandt looked at the other party with some suspicion, and reminded sharply, "Ten days ago, the person who assassinated me with you. His hanging mood suddenly relaxed.
Kylia thought about it seriously and muttered, "He was just forcibly taken over by One-Eye, and he lost his sense of self. You don't have to doubt it anymore, I can tell you unequivocally that he is not one of ours. β
"One-eyed?" Brandt thought the name familiar. He sorted out his thoughts and tried to remember.
Kylia interrupted the other man's thoughts, "He's completely dead, killed by an arrow from your ranger friend. β
When Brandt learns from the other party that this has nothing to do with Lord Witton, he calls the jailer guarding the dungeon in a loud voice. Brandt thought to himself, fortunately I didn't make a decision at that time, otherwise Sir Witton would not only suffer from flesh and skin, but more importantly, Sir Witton would have suffered humiliation.
A leather-clad jailer stepped forward, bowed and asked, "Lord Tyrrell, what do you command?" β
Brandt tilted his head at the soldier and asked, "In which cell are you holding Sir Witton in?"
"Locked in an iron prison near the inside. The jailer replied respectfully.
"Take me there. β
"Yes, sir. β
"Hey!" Kellya asked, in a very soft, but audible voice, "that you're going to keep me on the rack?"
Brant turned to respond to her, "If I don't tie you up like this, I'm afraid this dungeon won't be able to hold you." β
"I've told you all that you're going to ask," said Kellya with cold politeness, "Excuse me, sir!" what are you going to do with me?"
"I haven't thought about it yet," Brandt replied coldly, "but since I promised to spare your life, I'll keep my promise." After a while, he added, "Maybe you'll stay here for the rest of your life." β
"You ......" Kellia didn't expect such an answer from the other party. What is the difference between this and death, living without freedom is simply a torment that is more painful than death. She finally understood what the other party said in the church, life is worse than death. If she was to be locked up in this dungeon for the rest of her life, she would rather die.
Brandt didn't bother her, and followed the soldier all the way down the iron aisle in front of him. He planned to shut up the other party like this for a while, and as for how to deal with them, he already had a plan in his heart.
"My lord, this is the cell. β
Brant commanded, "Open the door." β
The jailer removed a bunch of keys from his waist, and he inserted one of the square copper keys into the cylinder, and with a 'click' the lock opened. The jailer pushed open the door and stepped aside.
Witton Redwin, who was sitting cross-legged on the stone bed, looked at the figure in front of him, and he stood up, "Lord Tyrrell. β
"Sir Witton, I've figured out the whole thing. Brandt took a deep breath and said with some concern, "This has nothing to do with you, I have kept you here these days and made you aggrieved." β
"Your Excellency's words are serious. Sir Witton said humbly.
"Let's go! Get out of here. (To be continued......)
