Chapter 81: Never Night Chang'an

In the eyes of the Tang monarchs, the Xuanzang route on the light curtain gradually disappeared.

"Boom!" A dull drum beat with an unknown musical instrument seemed to hit people's hearts, and Zhenguan Junchen suddenly felt a little tightened in his heart.

Then a distant pagoda is colorful, the nearby roofs are shining, and the pictures of lights and trees on the road flashing by.

The temple of manna suddenly became agitated:

"Immortals are watching in the clouds!"

"We're flying?!"

Li Shimin had already seen the high-altitude view of Chengdu that never lasted before, and reprimanded without changing color:

"There are thousands of means in the future, why be surprised? Silence to watch! ”

Fang Du held back a smile, and Wei Zheng and others admired: worthy of Your Majesty!

Yan Liben's eyes widened in the back, he didn't plan to paint for the time being, but planned to engrave it firmly in his heart, and then slowly reappear.

"Boom!" It is still the sound of drums and musical instruments, and it is still a silhouette that flashes back, which makes Zhenguan Junchen more and more itchy.

The next moment, there seemed to be a thousand musical instruments playing together, and there seemed to be a hundred immortals singing loudly in the clouds together.

The bright lights appeared again, and the picture in the light curtain was like a fairy in the dust, taking the Zhenguan ministers to see the scene thousands of years later.

At the same time, the light curtain also intimately marked the name.

The quaint stupa is delicate in the light curtain, and the bricks and tiles on it seem to tell the vicissitudes of time.

【Big Wild Goose Pagoda】

A statue of a monk on a blank field looked resolute, holding a Zen staff and staring south.

【Statue of Xuanzang】

The picture in the light curtain follows the statue of Xuanzang to the south, and after flying through a long street of lights and people, dozens of group sculptures come into view.

These sculptures have different looks and postures, and are embellished with poems, books, paintings, and tablets.

or in the form of a song, or in the form of worrying about the difficulties of the people's livelihood, or in a state of contentment, or in a solemn and contemplative state.

Next to each statue is a small stone tablet with a name, and the Zhenguan group also tried their best to identify the names that flashed by, because only a few people could be identified because of the angle.

"Li Bai!"

"Du Fu... Du Mu!"

"Liu Yuxi!"

This is what they already know from various offcuts.

"Wu Daozi!"

Wang Wei ...... Wang Zhilian! ”

"Yan Lide... Yan Liben! ”

【Datang Heroes】

Everyone suddenly turned around, they never expected that the first acquaintance to appear among them was this court painter!

Yan Liben himself stood there at a loss, and his body was a little swaying for a while, as if he was drunk.

Can I also pass on my reputation with my brother to future generations?

Li Shimin didn't care about comforting this courtier, so at this time, the light curtain was still flying, and he saw himself!

There was a majestic band in front, flags fluttering in the back, and the generals followed him with a prancing horse and whip, defending their Emperor Majesty.

And Li Shimin held the reins of the horse with one hand, and gently pressed down with the other hand.

The eldest grandson Wuji saw the stitches: "This image has the meaning of appeasing the world, and it has everyone's imperial demeanor!" ”

On the pillar of the statue, the four big characters of "Admiral Zhenguan" are square, and Li Shimin smiled freely, quite satisfied

And the generals all tried their best to look, even if they were like Li Jing, they sat up straight and opened their eyes wide: The six horseback servants next to His Majesty's sculpture should always have their own place, right?

【The Reign of Sadakan】

No matter how satisfied Li Shimin is, he will not stay longer because of him, and the picture continues to move forward.

It's just that what surprised him was that the next group of sculptures was neither a military general nor a civil servant today.

The woman embraces the baby, the strong man protects the child, the old man rejoices with the children and grandchildren, and the young and strong carry goods to the distance.

Wei Zheng also read the names of this group of sculptures:

[Water can carry a boat and capsize a boat]

There is no need to think about it, Wei Zheng blurted out: "The king is like a boat, the people are like water, they can carry a boat, and they can also capsize a boat." ”

The words of the sage in "Xunzi Monarchy" are all familiar with the monarchs and ministers, but now seeing the solemn carving of later generations, the ministers all bow their heads and ponder.

Li Shimin even thought of the Huang Chao who seemed to have a bitter hatred for Tang, and later generations called him an "uprising".

This Tang allowed the people to live a good life, and they held up the boat of the Tang Dynasty.

And when Don became the source of their suffering, they sank it to the bottom?

The silence of the Ganlu Hall was broken by Wei Chi Jingde: "Congratulations to Xing Guogong and Cai Guogong." ”

Fang Du and the others raised their heads and saw a group of Wenchen sculptures in the light curtain, the two courtiers in the first place, one twisted his beard and pondered, and the other waved his hand.

As for the identities of the two? The note next to the light curtain is clearly written:

【Housing Conspiracy】

Everyone present congratulated, and the eldest grandson Wuji's eyes were full of envy, and finally turned into a congratulatory joy.

Fang Xuanling twisted his beard and was happy, and Du Ruhui was arched hands:

"If you don't have everyone's vision, how can you pass on your views? How to come to the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. ”

Li Shimin laughed and stretched out his hand reservedly.

The courtier is famous, so he Li Shimin can give him the opportunity to display his talent and ambition, it should also be worth boasting, right?

However, the subsequent sculpture made Li Shimin unable to laugh.

There is a palm fan in front of the official holding five bright fans, there is a canopy in the back, and there are more instrument fans in the back.

It was supposed to belong to the emperor's guard of honor, but it was a woman who guarded it.

And the text next to the light curtain is also clearly written:

【Wu Hou Xing from the map】

Wei Zheng frowned and criticized:

"Even if it is due to Tang, how can the queen overstep it?"

Since the harem was involved, the generals kept silent with interest, and the excitement on Du Ruhui's face faded, and he shook his head and said:

"It's not overdone."

Wei Zheng still wanted to argue, but Du Ruhui said word by word:

"Because she is also known as the emperor, later generations will call her the empress, Wu Zetian."

Wei Zheng was speechless for a while, and when he looked back, he saw His Majesty's expression of disbelief.

And the surrounding generals were also shocked for a while, and at the same time, they lowered their heads and tried to hide the expressions on their faces.

Shaking his head tiredly, Li Shimin also found that he finally had to face this problem.

If you still have some doubts about why there was an empress in the Tang Dynasty.

So since he knew that his prince was on the throne, it was difficult for Li Shimin not to guess in that direction.

Take the seat!

Is the prince following his own example to seize the throne?

Did this Empress Wu also become Emperor Wu by seizing the throne?

For a while, Li Shimin only felt unprecedentedly tired.

He has the confidence to settle the country, let Siyi surrender, and create the beginning of a prosperous world.

But how to do Li Tang's family affairs?

He also saw the merits of the prince's rule, although he was a little overjoyed, but he destroyed Goguryeo and the Western Turks for himself.

Yan Shengshi, create a giant Tang Dynasty, this is also written in history.

Therefore, at this time, Li Shimin felt an unprecedented fatigue surging into his heart.

In a trance, he seemed to see his brothers fighting again, blood flowing in the palace, and plotting to kill the prince in the palace.

In his eyes, the golden Tang Dynasty seems to be shrouded in a layer of blood.

Waving his hands tiredly and sinking himself into his chair, Li Shimin looked up at the last group of sculptures in the light curtain.

【Kaiyuan Prosperous Age】

The three-story platform started the prosperous era of the Kaiyuan Dynasty, and Xuanzong stood in front of the golden dragon and jade and looked at the Quartet.

The next layer is a circle of civil ministers and military generals, which seems to be stable and stable.

At the bottom is a ring of band drumming.

But Li Shimin was in a bad mood at this time, and he wanted to throw something up, but he stopped in despair.

The eldest grandson Wuji said carefully:

"Everyone, after that Xuanzong time, Tang is still the Tang of Li Tang."

The words are twisting, but Li Shimin understands the meaning, Wu's relatives seized the throne, and they were finally taken back.

Looking blankly at the light curtain that had darkened again, Li Shimin looked down and saw the concerned eyes of the courtiers.

Finally smiled:

"There are such magical methods in later generations, and there must be a good way to govern the world that I have never had."

"There are still 20 years left in Zhenguan, and the prince is only one year old, teaching him to cultivate his talents, and the time limit is also wide."

There is a determination in the words that cannot be disobeyed.

……

"This city that never sleeps is just one street, and it's still not as good as Chengdu."

Liu Bei, a spiritual Yizhou native, made a judgment at this moment.

How about a statue? How will the name be passed on to future generations?

Compared to our temple, are there still people who worship it?

The so-called city that never sleeps doesn't look like a place of sacrifice no matter how you look at it.

"And this empress is actually the first martial queen, and then the empress."

For a while, Liu Bei remembered the inadvertent sentence of the previous light curtain, "When Empress Lu was in power, ......"

Could it be that this Empress Wu is following Empress Lu, and in the end she is going further than Empress Lu?

Although Liu Bei was not sure, he always felt that this powerful dynasty was too similar?

Eunuchs and relatives, can they really take turns?

For a while, Liu Bei was even very curious: Han and Tang have already learned from the past twice, and Song Ming in the back has no reason to do it again, right?

Kong Ming said:

"This water can carry a boat and can also overturn a boat, the lord should keep it in mind."

Liu Bei smiled:

"If the people are terrified, the Son of Heaven will not be in place. How do I not understand? ”

Kong Ming nodded with satisfaction:

"There are many talents in the Tang Dynasty, but my Han will not lose."

Then he glanced at Liu Bei regretfully:

Probably the only thing that can't catch up is the sovereign's ability to lead.

Liu Bei looked at himself inexplicably, and then gave Kong Ming a questioning look.

On the other side, Zhang Song and Liu Ba were staring at the light curtain.

When I looked at the Tang Dynasty city that never sleeps just now, Liu Bei, Kong Ming and others had already told them about the sleepless Chengdu in the future.

It is said that the color of prosperity is especially better than this scene, so both of them are a little itchy and unbearable.

Especially Zhang Song, who is from Chengdu himself, can't wait to get into the light curtain.

But it's a pity that the city that never sleeps ends, and after the light curtain is lit up again, there is still a striking bald head in the middle of the light curtain.

[Comparatively speaking, although Master Xuanzang's original purpose was to learn scriptures, his greatest influence on later generations was "The Legend of the Western Regions of the Tang Dynasty".

First of all, it should be said that the most rare thing about Master Xuanzang should be his recognition of the identity of the descendants of Yan and Huang.

We now still have spiritual Ami people, spiritual Nordics, and spiritual Vietnamese, so it is not surprising that there are spiritual Tianzhu monks in the Sui and Tang dynasties in the north and south where Buddhism flourishes.

For example, Master Fa Xian, who we mentioned earlier, arrived in Tianzhu with him and a monk named Dao Quan.

Fa Xian later went to find Dao Cheng when he wanted to return to China, but Dao Cheng made a wish to be born in Tianzhu for the rest of his life and refused to return to China.

Fa Xian, who was 70 years old at the time, could only return to China by boat alone, and even almost died at sea.

And Master Xuanzang's contemporaries were another eminent monk Daoxuan, who wrote "Shakya Fangzhi" at that time, in which he made a long conclusion:

With India as the positive, Tang is unstoppable.

And after Xuanzang returned to China, Dao Xuan described Master Xuanzang in his own compilation of "Continuing the Biography of High Monks":

When Zang first arrived here, he didn't feel bored. After a long time, I woke up and experienced the spiritual appearance. In the past, it was said that the present is like the present. Hate to live on the border, born in the last days.

In his pen, Xuanzang complained that he was born in a border wilderness like the Tang Dynasty because he saw the Buddhist holy land of Tianzhu.

and finally described Xuanzang's state in Datang as "double boring".

But is it possible? Xuanzang is a person who has obtained three doctorates from Mahayana Heaven, Liberation Heaven, and Sanzang Master, and even the presiding officer of Nalanda Temple hopes that he will inherit the family property.

If Master Xuanzang really thinks this, wouldn't it be a matter of minutes if he wants to stay in Tianzhu? 】

The next chapter will turn back to the Tang Dynasty family line.
