Chapter 121: The Manuscript of the Sacrifice of the Nephew

[In 2004, at an archaeological symposium in the United Kingdom, Peter Uko, director of the Institute of Archaeology at University College London, proposed a topic:

Should the Chinese antiquities in the British Museum be returned to China?

An Englishman rose up against:

Cultural relics are witnesses of history. The greatest value of the existence of cultural relics is to record history. The moment we looted China, these artifacts were linked to the British Empire. So, they are both Chinese cultural relics and our cultural relics. We have a reason to save it.

The second half of this point of view can only be said to be shameless to a certain level, and the first half of the sentence is right, cultural relics are not only witnesses of history, but also witness the history of the time, and will be given new value by later history.

Just like the "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews", which is known as the "Three Great Books in the World", this memorial text is Yan Zhenqing's grief and indignation, although it is smeared, but it shows the fullness and sincerity of feelings.

This hastily written sacrificial text witnessed the Anshi Rebellion, witnessed the loyalty of the Yan family, witnessed Yan Zhenqing's unbending life, and also witnessed Yan Zhenqing's diligence in calligraphy.

The "Compendium of the General History of China" praised Yan Zhenqing, saying that the four Ou Yu Chu Xue in the early Tang Dynasty were only the heirs of the calligraphy of the two kings, and Yan Zhenqing in the Tang Dynasty was the creator of the new calligraphy style in the Tang Dynasty.

Yan Zhenqing himself is like a brush, using the first half of his life to draw ink in the Tang Dynasty, and the second half of his life as a pen, using his life of Wenzhao and Wulie to write the overthrow of the Tang Dynasty of the Anshi Rebellion.

After the death of Yan Gong, the "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews" has been collected by famous artists and the royal inner government, and has witnessed the destruction of the Song Dynasty, the unification of the Yuan Dynasty, the revival of the Ming Dynasty, and the entry of the Qing Dynasty.

After thousands of years, the original 75-centimeter-long calligraphy has been continuously lengthened to 530 centimeters, and the new paper is full of preface seals of collectors of previous generations, which also makes the historical value of this national treasure itself more abundant. 】

"Strong words!"

Wei Zheng respected the loyalty of the Yan family, so his angry face was a little red:

"If we follow the barbarian reasoning of their generation, we plunder their wealth and rob their people, and they will not be able to return it?"

"He is really good, don't be embarrassed!"

Hou Junji was thoughtful:

"If according to the brutality of his generation, I can take what I ask for if I add a sword to his body?"

For a while, he remembered that Master Xuanzang said that the country of the Western treasure lord is rude and righteous, but he only pays a lot of money and bribes, and he only thinks that what he said is not right at all, and his generation has not grown at all in the past thousand years.

"Wouldn't that be inconvenient for the expedition?"

Eldest Sun Wuji licked his lips and sneered.

It's a pity that although this Ying doesn't know the geography, it should be quite far away.

Li Shimin didn't speak, just quietly observed this weeping blood sacrifice.

As later generations said, the inscription was attached to different colors of paper and became extremely long, and the new prefaces and proverbs were longer and more "neat" than the inscription itself, but these characters were humbly listed aside, and could not in any way obscure the brilliance of the inscription, which had been smeared and modified in many places.

Calligraphy is also one of Li Shimin's hobbies.

At this moment, looking at this notebook with his own eyes, Li Shimin's face was full of emotion:

"The Yan family sacrifice can also be used as a Tang Dynasty sacrifice."

As he spoke, he read out Yan Zhenqing's sad and indignant question on this manuscript.

"The father traps the son and dies, the nest overturns, and the sky does not repent, who is poisonous?"

Who is poisonous? Later generations did not say it explicitly, but Li Shimin had his own views on military power.

From Jin Wuwei, to the forbidden army, to the marching commander when attacking Jieli.

The farther away from the Son of Heaven, the greater the right to self-determination, so that the commander can act cheaply.

The territory of 10,000 miles in the heyday brought about the right of self-determination that was not inferior to that of the princes and kings of the previous dynasty.

The side generals sit big, the court is eroded, the branches are strong and weak, and only one ulterior motive is needed, and the rebellion will rise.

As a result, Li Shimin was a little interested and eager to try:

The ancestors should shelter the future generations from the wind and rain, how can they seek the perfect law for the younger generations in everything?

[But perhaps what Yan Zhenqing himself couldn't have imagined was that in modern times, the unfair treatment he had suffered had suffered again on this national treasure.

"The Manuscript of the Sacrifice of the Nephew" is known as the second line of books in the world, considering that the first line of the book "The Preface to the Lanting Collection" is said to have been taken to the coffin by Erfeng, it is not impossible to say that the "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of the Nephew" is the first book in the world.

And there is a saying on the cultural relics, the paper has a thousand years of life, and the silk is halved.

More than 1,000 years ago, the paper memorial was exhibited once, and it was injured once, and it was seen once less.

Such a treasure in the world was lent to the Japanese country by Yizhou on its own initiative, and it is called cultural exchange.

However, the Louvre will not lend the Mona Lisa, and Egypt will not give away Tutankhamun's golden mask.

"Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews" witnessed a national feud and family hatred more than a thousand years ago, but the treasure that is so heavy as Mount Tai was taken by several people with ulterior motives in Yizhou to send it to the small day exhibition.

Xiaori has the same national hatred and family hatred between us.

Yan Gong himself would never have imagined that after a thousand years, his sacrificial text could still witness the ugly face of the traitor.

This reminds people of the advice of another prime minister, Li Mian, to Dezong when the treacherous minister Lu Qi maliciously framed Yan Gong to put him in danger:

Losing an old man is ashamed of the court.

Time has passed, thousands of years have passed, and the country is heavy and flattering, so why not take a self-portrait with drowning? 】

The first thing they looked back at was their majesty.

Li Shimin's ears were slightly red, and he said vigorously:

"I love my treasure with all my heart! Later generations also said that the life span of paper is only a thousand years. ”

"If there is no eternal love, the treasure may be lost in the flames of war, and humiliated in the hands of thieves."

"Everyone cherishes national treasures and deserves praise!"

The eldest grandson, Wuji, jumped out.

Relatives! Wei Zheng complained in his heart, and then he didn't care anymore.

Zhenguan's courtiers were also more surprised, after all, His Majesty is still fierce now, and when he suddenly mentioned the burial of Yunyun, he couldn't help but let people look at it twice.

is more concerned about what happened to this "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews".

Wei Zheng frowned, and intuitively felt that this junior also seemed to have his own difficulties:

"It seems that even after a thousand years, there are many people who are incorruptible and shameful."

"This Yan Gong manuscript, the text has grief and indignation, and the words cry blood, so as to flatter the slave, count the dictionary and forget its ancestors."

"Yizhou ......" Li Jing sat quite close to the map, and he could touch it with his hand:

"If Your Majesty wants to raise the navy, you should take the Pearl Cliff of Yizhou."

The accuracy of the map in later generations is incredible, so Li Jing calculated according to it, and it was only 400 miles away from Quanzhou to Yizhou.

Hou Junji followed the old general's thoughts, and continued:

"And from this Yizhou to the northeast, there are islands every two or three hundred miles on the sea, which may be a relay and tend to the Japanese slave country."

Li Jing stroked his beard and felt that this thinking was a bit far, but it was also a direction.

Since the establishment of the new maritime administration last year, various states have posted notices to find shipbuilders who want to plan sea ships, and Mingzhou, Dengzhou, Laizhou and other places have also had new orders.

In the winter of last year, a lieutenant colonel was added to the lieutenant colonel's office, which was under the jurisdiction of two and ten supervisors, and was in charge of all matters of the sea division.

Du Ruhui was very clear about these and nodded the same way:

"The naval division is newly established this year, and it is appropriate to use it to take Yizhou."

……

Regarding the "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews", Zhang Fei's exclamation is simple:

"In this later life, the writing is strangely good-looking."

"I have to practice calligraphy when I have time."

Mi Zhu smiled:

"The changes in calligraphy over the centuries also seem to imply the way of science."

"The better the paper-making technique, the lower the price of paper, and the more people who can read and write, they will have more than enough to study the style of calligraphy."

Zhang Song was very emotional, picked up the stack of paper in front of him and flicked it with his fingers, felt the feeling and said:

"If it weren't for the lord to enter Yizhou, how would I know the convenience of good paper? I'm afraid it's also a burden of bamboo and wood slips. ”

Although I have long known that there is a very good-looking Cai Yong in the capital, for the vast majority of people who can only afford to use simple bamboo slips and grit their teeth to use silk, buy Zuobo paper that does not faint ink to practice calligraphy? It's a bit extravagant.

Mi Zhu smiled:

"Paper is a thing of the world, it can promote literature, benefit the people, open up the wisdom of the people, create a society, and destroy the enemy and thieves, and the praise of future generations is worthy of the name."

Kong Ming, who had long predicted the prospect of paper, let out a sigh of relief:

"This Tang has Yan Zhenqing, how fortunate he is."

Liu Bei shook his head, looked at Kong Ming and said sincerely:

"A hundred years of relics, Yan Zhenqing is the person Tang deserves."

"I am in troubled times, and I can sigh when I meet Kong Ming, how fortunate I am!"

The two hands were clasped together, and Kong Ming smiled happily:

"Why should the lord be humble?"

"There are so many heroes in troubled times, and how few people are there who are benevolent and virtuous and observe the hearts of the people?"

Liu Bei patted the back of Kong Ming's hand and said with emotion:

"This is the foundation of preparing for life, and it is also the foundation of the preference of future generations, and I dare not forget it."

Fa Zheng said with a smile:

"Nowadays, there are both good paper and framing techniques, and military advisors should leave more authentic traces for future generations."

Kong Ming smiled and spread his hands:

"I used to send the real works to the juniors through the light curtain, but the juniors didn't believe it."

And said: "The body of the book is not bright. ”

"In comparison, it is better to open up the road of science for future generations, which is enough to use the good prescription of eternity, and it is ten million times better than the true works."

"If you can return to the Western Regions in your lifetime, you will have no regrets in this life."

Fa Zheng is a little envious, he is still complacent about Hanzhong's merits, and others are already thinking about it......

Shaking his head, Fa Zheng was determined to ignore everything else.

For the sake of today's plan, first ensure that you will not die early, and then restore the foundation of the Han Dynasty, and then fight for the name of future generations.

But then Fa Zheng remembered one thing and said:

"Military Division, before returning to Chengdu, Pang Military Division accepted a disciple in Hanzhong, named Jiang Wei."

Kong Ming's smile froze:

"Huh? What is your name? ”

[In the Anshi Rebellion, Feng Changqing, who was supposed to return to Beijing to report on his work, was involved and Tongguan was beheaded.

And Anxi, who was guarded by him, left behind his exploits and fame.

Zhang Yichao, who grew up here, grew up listening to the legend of Feng Changqing, and when he was young, Zhang Yichao often copied Feng Changqing's suicide note by hand, took the late Feng Changqing as his teacher, and called himself a student.

Before Tongguan was beheaded, Feng Changqing calmly wrote "Feng Changqing's Death Expression".

In this unique chapter, Feng Changqing briefly reviewed the campaign of counterinsurgency, did not shake the blame, took the initiative to take responsibility, and said that he should be killed.

Even if "the soldiers of the generals are all rabble", even if "the division of the Yuyang Assault Cavalry is still killing the enemy and blocking the road".

But Feng Changqing felt that as long as his death was valuable, he hoped that his death would make the generals take it as a warning, so that he could successfully quell the rebellion.

And made a final exhortation in the suicide note: I hope that Your Majesty will not take this thief lightly and will not forget the words of his ministers.

The death of a minister of the corpse, and the death of the soul as a ghost of the holy dynasty are Feng Changqing's last feelings.

And we all know what happened later, Feng Changqing's worries came true, Tongguan Chang'an fell one after another, I don't know if Xuanzong regretted beheading Changqing when he fled in panic?

This suicide note was copied by Feng Changqing's adjutant and brought back to Anxi, and it became widely known.

Seventy years later, while looking at the crisis in Anxi, Zhang Yichao hand-copied and sealed Changqing's suicide note, determined to return to the Tang Dynasty.

The hand-copied "Feng Changqing Xie Death Expression" by Zhang Yichao was finally sealed by his nephew Zhang Huaishen in the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang.

After another thousand years, the Mogao Grottoes suffered in the early 19th century, and a large number of cultural relics flowed out.

Zhang Yichao's handwritten "Feng Changqing Xie Death Expression" was imported into France and is now in the National Library of Paris.

This suicide note is also like the "Manuscript of the Sacrifice of Nephews", witnessing the Anshi Rebellion and the decline of the late Tang Dynasty.

It also witnessed the life of the two loyal ministers, and hoped that it would return home one day. 】

"This Xuanzong must not have read a word."

Zhang Fei is not worth it for this famous general.

Then he sighed:

"Fortunately, I was seen by this discussion."

"This pair of teachers and students are good men!"

"I regret that Feng Changqing's death was too wronged!"

The light curtain shows a hand-copied version of Zhang Yichao, the handwriting is clear and neat, and the reading is also very smooth.

Liu Bei also sighed:

"Who's to say it isn't? Such a famous general, calmly responsible, able to recognize danger, and admonished when dying. ”

"It's amazing that this Xuanzong can corrupt the situation to this point."

But then he frowned:

"Seeing the heart of Changqing and the ambition of Zhang Yichao in one book, it is a pity that such a treasure is still flowing in a foreign country."

Zhang Song hurriedly comforted:

"We can wait for this junior, and we can do it when we ascend to the sky, or as he said, the day when the treasure returns home is not far away."

Liu Bei said seriously:

"It would be great if it did."

On the other side, Kong Ming was still pulling Fa Zheng and asked in detail:

Then why was Jiang Wei quietly taken to Hanzhong?

didn't notice it for a while, but was Pang Tong the first to get there?

……

"The Corpse Minister... The Ghost of the Pilgrimage..."

Even Wei Zheng was moved by this letter of Changqing's heart.

Then he whispered:

"This will be treated, it is really a drain."

"I only hope that I, Tang, will have fewer loyal martyrs who died in vain."

Du Ruhui has another view:

"This Changqing should be called the righteous minister that the prince of Wenshan said in later generations."

"The dignity of the Tang Dynasty depends only on this generation, the majestic heart of martial arts, and it is cold for eternity."

There was a subtle difference in their opinions, and they glanced at each other.

Fang Xuanling was thoughtful on the side, and privately agreed with Du Ruhui a little more.

After all, since the birth of this Zhang tide, Anxi has been occupied by Tibet.

Don't accept Tang Ze, don't see Tang Huang, but still have the heart to return to Tang, if you say that you are loyal, it seems a little far-fetched.

Li Shimin didn't expect that the sightseeing curtain said that these two generals who were remembered by him still had such a relationship.

So he smiled and said:

"From this point of view, this discussion tide can indeed be called a point of meteorology in the Tang Dynasty."

"The legacy of a hundred years of stability is the end of it."

Make up for yesterday's, and today is stepping on the line again, so it will be revised and modified.
