If the entire Buddhist system is arranged, those monks who are still practicing in the mortal world are not counted, and the many practitioners who can stay in the spiritual mountain, the largest number is the Dharma Protector Jialan.

Anyone who is strong in the human world, has great force, but at the same time has great understanding and has made great contributions, and has the opportunity to be divided into Dharma Protector Jialan after death. Although people like Su Dongpo, Zhu Zhishan, Mrs. Huigan, etc., as well as the most famous Guan Erye, all have official records of being named the protector of Canaan.

But in fact, the most of the protectors of the Dharma are those powerful forces, and a large number of famous generals in the past dynasties have been named the protectors of the Fa Jialan.

There is a famous saying in Buddhism that it is called to put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the ground.

On this point, Heavenly Court and Lingshan have a consensus, and they are desperately fighting for those powerful generals in the mortal world, not to mention Guan Erye, a military general who was later crowned emperor by the Three Sects.

Wei Chigong and Qin Shubao alone were successively named righteous gods and protectors by Heavenly Court and Lingshan.

The Dharma Protector Garan is the real Dharma Protector God, from Jialan to God, the status is naturally higher, there are eight Heavenly Dragons, four Heavenly Kings, twenty-four heavens, and the two generals of Humm, etc., all of whom have been named Dharma Protector Gods.

Above the protector god is the Arhat, above the Arhat is the Bodhisattva, above the Bodhisattva is the real Buddha, above the Buddha is the third Buddha, etc., this will not be expanded, and Liu Xu will naturally mention these when he writes about the gods in the future.

Even if it was an existence like Guan Erye, he had to go everywhere to kill demons and expel evil ghosts or something, how could he have any effort to read what scriptures!

Besides, those scriptures of Buddhism are really not read by people, and even most monks may not be able to understand what the scriptures say.

Where can he recite any Buddhist scriptures?
