Chapter 332: Target, Hal Jordan?
Planet Oa, Green Lantern Corps Headquarters.
Hal Jordan stared at the little invisible meat star in the middle of the pile of green plants on his plate, and then raised his head to look at the orange aunt with four tentacles in front of him.
"I mean, I can't even feed the Lampman Jot, right?" Hal raised his eyebrows, "Give me more, I won't have the strength to patrol if I don't eat enough." β
Jort was a goldfish-like creature in the Green Lantern Corps, barely reaching Hal's knees.
"That's all, it's the rule." The rice eater waved her hand impatiently, "Kirovog is no more than you." β
Kirovog is an instructor at Green Light Boot Camp and is a big guy who is as big as two hals. Hal frowned, stared at the plate disapprovingly for a moment, and finally turned his head to sit down.
The canteen with the circular dome is full of green lanterns flying around in the sky and on the ground. Walking, crawling, aquatic creatures, everything.
There was also a commotion at the door. It seems that a Green Lantern flew into the cafeteria to land and was distracted and almost crashed into another teammate who had just taken off.
One of them shouted unhappily, "Look at the road when flying", but as we all know, the green lights are a group of reckless people, and when the other side heard this, his eyes immediately widened, indicating how he wanted to fight
So there was a mess outside.
If it's just here, Hal might have come out to join in the fun, and maybe he would go up and get involved. It's not like he didn't do this kind of thing when he was a recruit, and he fought the disdainful Lantern Man in the legion who thought he was a hillbilly just because he was from Earth, and the end ended up in a small black room package without exception.
But those days are gone.
Now he is no longer the newcomer "hillbilly earthling from the poor countryside", but a legion legend admired by the whole legion.
"Mind if I sit here?"
A tall figure appeared beside him. Hal looked up and saw Kirovog, tall enough to block the Wifi signal, with a plate.
"Mind." Hal said angrily, "I can't stand the smell of you." β
"Ha, I can't stand the smell of you humans."
Kirovog didn't mind, and sat down with a big grin.
Hal shifted a position to the side. This is a necessary move, because Kirovog needs to occupy the position of two people alone.
"You have twice as many dishes as I do." Hal raised an eyebrow as soon as he looked at his plate, "That rice maker lied to me!" β
"What, are you going to complain about her?"
Hal shrugged and scooped a spoonful of the colorful slull into his mouth. When he first arrived, he was very unaccustomed to Ou'a food, but now he finds that it is actually quite good.
"So, what did the Guardian say last time he summoned you?" Kirovog asked.
"Nothing new. Say I did a good job before, keep working hard and ask fewer questions, don't go down the old path of Senisto. β
"Oh, and you're still talking about that old bastard?" Kirovog snorted, "He's a traitor to the Lights, ignoring even the supreme honor he could have had." You defeated him head-on, proving that you are better than him. β
But Hal showed no joy: "He is still my friend, the one who trained me. Even now, I miss the time we spent working together. β
Before falling out with Senisto, Hal had worked closely with him. From the teacher-student relationship, to the comrades-in-arms who can deliver each other's backs, to the enemies of life and death.
Perhaps nothing is more ironic than this.
Even after becoming enemies, they still consider each other to be each other's best friends.
"I'm sorry, I know you had a good relationship before. Rookies only see your accomplishments, but they don't understand how heavy it is on you. Kirovog patted him on the shoulder, "Listen, if you need someone to talk to."
"Me? Excuse me, you know I don't need to. Hal said.
"Yes." Kirovog grinned, "Then let's put it another way. If you need to find someone to fight."
Hal looked at him and smiled.
"Don't lie on the ground and beg for mercy this time."
"Interesting, that's exactly what I'm going to say."
Rumble!
The sudden explosion did not cause any reaction from all the light rings and the security systems of the entire planet. The outer wall of the cafeteria was blasted into a huge gap by a domineering energy, and majestic energy poured out along the gap.
The Green Lantern, who was sitting by the wall, was swept away before he could react. The rest of the well-trained lantern warriors immediately rose to their feet, activated their shields, and watched vigilantly in the direction of the explosion.
The rookies were even more dumbfounded.
Terrorist attack? In Europe?
The base camp of the Star Sheriff's Green Lantern Legion?
Which master has the courage and ability to do things here?
However, unexpectedly, the attackers were not terrorists, not even half a person.
There is only one ring.
The yellow light ring, as if it was brushed out of thin air, is as invisible as in the entire green light security and radar system. It unleashed an astonishing amount of energy to blast through the cafeteria, drawing a series of staggered arcs and swooping straight inside.
"Yellow Ring!"
There was a lantern man who shouted in surprise.
"Why are there yellow rings?"
"Stop it!"
Several Green Lanterns raised their fists in unison and released a green light. The green light curtains released by several people joined together, forming a wall of wills that could withstand even the shelling of an interstellar battleship.
However, the yellow light ring pierced through, and the wall shattered instantly. The golden energy erupted like flames along its path, and the Green Lanterns were instantly swept to their backs.
True to the old adage.
The green light is only five, and after five, it will be extinguished.
The tiny ring swooped left and right, flapping up and down in Green Lantern's bag, unleashing a blast of energy that knocked Green Lantern to the ground. Its burst of golden energy was like a sharp sword like clay in front of the green light, and no structure was its unanimous enemy.
"Got it!"
A huge green slap fell from the sky and slammed the lamp ring to the ground. The whole building shook, a huge slap mark was left on the ground, and the hall was dusty.
Kirovog gritted his teeth, his mind manipulating his chin and turning into a cauldron.
"I grabbed it, grabbed it."
"Kirovog, beware!" Hal shouted.
The next moment, the green lid was blasted to pieces. The lantern ring flew out and slammed Kirovog's massive body to the ground right in the jaw. It followed it unabated, like a sword unsheathed and pointed straight at the goal of its trip.
Hal Jordan.
In the midst of everyone's stunned gaze, the lamp ring slammed into Howl's fingers.
"What!?" Hal was stunned, and tried to break off the yellow light ring.
"The O-Albanian satellite is positioned, and the mission is re-approved. Hal Jordan is locked. Hal Jordan has been captured. Prepare to transmit lifeforms. It was found that the interference of the will energy had been canceled out and the teleportation was ready. β
"Hal!"
Kirovog lay on the ground, shouting Hal's name.
But the next moment, he saw Hal disintegrated in front of him with a stunned expression. From the flesh to the bones, and then all the organs, little by little, they were broken down by the yellow light, as if they were all crushed into ashes from the inside out, and disappeared in the yellow light.
A beam of golden light broke through the cafeteria, rushed out of Oua, flew into the vast universe and disappeared without a trace.
Hal thought he might have fainted for a momentβhe wasn't sure, it was like a cloud, like a cross between reality and dream.
But he knew very well that he had been teleported from Oua.
He wanted to use the "driving record" of the Green Light Ring to see what had just happened, but soon found that he couldn't.
His green light ring was also extinguished, and he was not much better off than himself.
And now what dominates his body is the strange yellow light ring.
"Warning, Hal Jordan's will is resisting." The yellow light ring gives a warning.
Hal gritted his teeth: "yes, from me. Get out! β
"Wrong, the host's will is too strong, fear is being suppressed"
Wrong. Willpower exceeds the maximum amount that the Lantern Ring can endure. β
"Wrong."
Boom!
The yellow light ring exploded on his finger in place, as if a burst of green light erupted from within, twisting the light ring into pieces.
As the yellow light dissipated, the Green Light Ring reawakened. The green light once again covered Hal Jordan's body, and the reassuring voice of the AI built into the Green Lantern Ring returned to his ears.
"The Lamp Ring has been reconnected."
"I'm glad to see you back, old man." Hal looked around, "Now, tell me where we're here." β
"There is insufficient data to locate and detect intelligent biological reactions."
Hal looked up and saw several golden rays of light falling from the sky, each with a figure wrapped in it.
Three Yellow Light Regiment warriors from different galactic races wearing yellow light uniforms and light rings.
"So, that's the 'great' Hal Jordan."
One of the snake-faced men stuck out his tongue and sneered at Hal with his cold-blooded animal-like eyes.
I thought he would be a little taller."
"Are you the culprits of those yellow rings?"
Hal said coldly, his right fist slammed into his palm, and the light ring flashed green.
"There are only three of them, which means I can find out the answer by beating you up."
"Don't be in a hurry, Lampman."
One of them, Huang Light, sneered and gestured.
Suddenly, the yellow light in the darkness around them lit up.
Hal's pupils shrank.
More yellow light, more figures. A whole circle of yellow light warriors, tall, short, fat and thin, from various star fields and races, all of them had bad intentions, and the yellow light radiating from their bodies was connected, like an endless golden flame.
He was surrounded.
The snake-faced yellow light grinned at the corners of his mouth and smirked in a low voice.
"Count again, Green Lantern."
