Chapter 441: Treasure Hunt

Many of the old wizards loved to live in Wiltshire, and there was a time when it was bustling with feasts held in different mansions every day, and it was the place where the most wizards lived.

But it wasn't until twelve years ago that things changed dramatically.

It seemed that overnight, almost half of the wizards were forced to move and become neighbors with the Dementors, leaving only a large number of people to go to the empty mansions.

All of a sudden, it was quiet.

But the other wizards who live here think it's not bad...... At least they have no scruples about expanding their mansions to a bigger size.

Lestrange's mansion sits on a hillside to the north.

Several windows around the house were broken, the roof tiles were mutilated, and the imposing doors and walls were covered with all sorts of unknown vines, almost like Hogsmeade's screaming shack from the outside.

But a dozen years ago, it was the most spacious and imposing building within a radius of a few kilometers, and the Lestrange family was also in the wizarding world.

But as its owner moved to Azkaban, it became more and more dilapidated until it became what it is today.

No one wants to come here for the wizards who live nearby, let alone help clean the house.

At night, there is silence around the hillside, and only sporadic insect chirping can be heard.

In the moonlight, two figures, one large and one small, came out of the shadows and stopped in front of the house.

"Sirius, are you sure this is Lestrange's ancestral home?" Kyle looked at the house in front of him that was no worse than the screaming shack, and wondered.

"If we think Lestrange is the same, then yes......" Sirius said.

"That's too broken, isn't it?" Kyle frowned, "They didn't even think of protecting this place with the Loyalty Charm?" ”

"No, and there is no need." Sirius said, "Twelve years ago, who would have dared to fight their idea." The woman...... Bella, she was the first celebrity in front of the Mysteries, there were too many wizards who wanted to slap her up, and because of the Mysteries' trust, the Death Eaters almost made this their headquarters.

If you have the Loyalty Charm, it becomes very inconvenient.

"It's ridiculous that it's the same people who made this place what it is now after she was imprisoned in Azkaban."

Sirius glanced at Kyle and continued, "I don't know why you suddenly want to come here, but I'm sure the house has been looted for a long time, and you're destined to run for nothing today......"

"Yes...... Not necessarily. Kyle walked forward.

Sirius showed a hint of helplessness, but followed anyway.

The lock on the door had long since become a useless ornament, and Kyle only cleaned up the tangled rattan a little before entering the house with ease.

Inside, it looked even worse, barely a single piece of furniture was in sight, the largest of which was a table with a missing leg.

As Sirius said, there was hardly anything of value to be seen here, even the decorations that were embedded in the pillars or walls were buttoned down.

"I wouldn't want to step into here if I could." Sirius frowned.

"What the hell are you looking for, if it's a golden Galleon, just ask, I've got that."

"That's yours, I don't want it." Kyle pulls a sniffer out of his pocket.

"Find out where the underground storage room is here......

Sniff looked around and soon walked in one direction, and in the process, it was like a vacuum cleaner, collecting all the broken glass, iron nails, porcelain shards and other things on the floor into his stomach pocket.

Finally, Sniff stopped in front of a statue in the corner of the room.

There was supposed to be a statue here, but now there is only a pedestal left, and underneath the pedestal, there is a hole that has been opened.

Looks like this place has also been patronized.

Kyle picked it up and sniffed, scratched its belly, and threw away all the rags it had picked up with disgust, and the little guy was still a little unhappy, squeaking and screaming.

Kyle ignored it, picked up an oil lamp, and walked into the basement storage room on his own.

Not surprisingly, there wasn't much left here, but luckily what Kyle needed wasn't touched.

On the wall of the cramped storeroom hangs a painting that is missing a frame and has long since faded.

I can vaguely see that the background of the painting is this house, but the people inside are missing.

"It's supposed to be old Lestrange, but I can't remember his name." Sirius, who followed up, said, "Kyle, don't tell me you're looking for this thing...... This kind of magical portrait is only of little value to the Lestrange family, and it is rubbish elsewhere. ”

"Yes, but it's not ......," Kyle said.

Sirius didn't get it.

But in the next second, he saw Kyle throw away the magic painting, take a hammer that came out of nowhere, and smash it on the wall behind him.

"Knock...... Boom...... Knock ......"

The wall was unexpectedly brittle, and it was quickly smashed, revealing the dark gray stone inside, but Kyle didn't stop moving......

The dull sound of tapping made Sirius, who was already confused, even more puzzled, he didn't understand what Kyle was doing, planning to tear it down?

But just as he was about to ask, the wall cracked again.

Sirius was surprised to find that as Kyle knocked down more and more stones, the originally gray stone gradually became twisted, and then contracted and squeezed. It soon turned into a dark gold, fist-sized box.

"Transfiguration...... I thought there was a dark grid......"

Kyle put on his dragonskin gloves and picked up the box and shook it...... There was a crisp crashing sound from inside.

Apparently, the key he was looking for was hidden in this box.

But the question is how to open it, he took a general look, and the whole box seemed to be poured, and there was no trace of splicing, not even a hole for inserting a key.

Watch Kyle's movements. Sirius blinked, dumbfounded, and said hesitantly, "This, this is ......"

"It's supposed to be a magical item, specifically designed to store important items." Kyle said, "But it's not easy to open this thing......"

"I know." Sirius scratched at her hair, "But how do you know there's something behind this wall...... I mean, it's the ancestral home of Lestrange!

Have you been here before? But no, you weren't even a year old when that woman Bellatrix was captured by the Aurors. ”

"No, I was over two years old at the time." Kyle corrected.

"It doesn't matter!" Sirius only felt his head go round and round, "How the hell do you know...... The location of this thing! ”

"Of course someone told me." Kyle laughs, "I spent a little bit of money and got the news from people in the know. ”

"Insiders? Who is it! ”

"Trust me, you won't want to know its name."

Kyle put away the box and looked around to make sure nothing was missing, before leaving the pantry with the oil lamp in his hand, ready to go back.

It is too inconvenient to use the wand freely here.
