Chapter 452: The Top Floor Box
Bill slept until the night when he was woken up.
It's just that the process is a little more complicated.
Fred and George came up with the idea, Ron took the water, Ginny handed the bucket, and finally Charlie poured the bucket full of cold water directly on his face.
Even if Bill wanted to get angry, he didn't know who to beat.
Bill and Charlie rarely come back together, and with it being Kyle's birthday, Mrs. Weasley has been busy in the kitchen since noon, preparing a large table of sumptuous dinners.
Just as Kyle thought, Chris came with his 150-year-old bottle of Agni Whiskey.
Mr. Weasley's eyes lit up as he looked at the large number on the bottle.
Bill resisted the temptation and asked for another small glass, but he learned his lesson from the previous time and took a sip like Mr. Weasley.
So this time he didn't get drunk on the spot, but didn't lie down on the table until the end of dinner.
Percy was upset with the soup on his plate, and said it was the clothes he was going to wear to work tomorrow.
Even though Mrs. Weasley had used her magic to clean up the soup, he still mumbled back to his room.
"If you're afraid of getting dirty, don't wear it to dinner." Fred couldn't help but say.
"Maybe I thought Mr. Crouch would be a guest out of the blue." George said with a smile.
Mrs. Weasley slapped them, and the two of them shut up.
However, this little episode did not affect the good mood of everyone.
After the meal, a few of the children who had not drunk were responsible for helping the drunk Bill to the upstairs room.
As for Charlie, he was also lying on the table, one left and one right with Bill, face to face.
Ron and Ginny dragged him for a long time, but they didn't move, and finally just moved him from their chairs to the ground.
Several goblins approached curiously and poked his face with their slender fingers.
"Go, go!" Ron waved the pesky goblins away, then dragged him and Ginny by the arm, and dragged them back to the Burrow.
This also caused Charlie to wake up the next day, and always felt a dull pain in his body, as if he had been stepped on by a fire dragon.
And so it went on for another two weeks.
One night in mid-August, Mr. Weasley came back from work at the Ministry of Magic and called everyone excitedly.
"Did you get a ticket, Dad!" Fred asked, expectantly.
"Oh, I want to surprise you." Mr. Weasley feigned disappointment, but the smile on his face could not be hidden.
"Big surprise!"
He pulled out a stack of colorful tickets, "Thirteen of them, all of them are the best spots." ”
Fred whispered, "What is the best location......"
"Penthouse box." Mr. Weasley said, "We're in the front row with the Minister of Magic. ”
"Oh! That's great! ”
Fred and George's faces flushed with excitement and slapped each other the shoulder.
They always thought that Mr. Weasley would be able to get tickets for the ordinary stands at most, but they didn't expect it to be the top box.
It was arguably the best place to see the whole arena clearly.
"Dad, how did you do that?" Ron asked with a look of adoration.
"For some special reasons, a lot of people in the ministry couldn't go to the game, and the people in the sports department simply gave the tickets to Chris and me, saying that it wouldn't make the top box look too empty."
"Lucky ......," Ron couldn't help but say.
"But thirteen tickets aren't enough."
After the excitement, Fred quickly thought of another thing, and frowned:
"There are nine of us in our family, plus the Kyle family, Harry, Hermione, Cho, Connor, Cedric...... That's not a lot. ”
"Don't worry, dear." Mrs. Weasley laughed and said, "I don't like that kind of mess, just enough to give the tickets to Harry and Hermione." ”
"So do we." Chris laughed and said, "We have more important things to deal with than we do to go to the World Cup, which is why the top box is empty.
Also, Diggory should already have a ticket, and we happened to run into him on the floor of the Sports Division when we left. ”
"In that case...... Then only eleven tickets are needed. Fred calculated, "The remaining two are just enough to keep for Cho and Connor." ”
"Great!" Fred and George high-fived again.
Then they came to the Burrow.
Mrs. Weasley prepares to write a letter to Harry and Hermione.
Hermione was okay to say that she could just send the letter to the owl, but when it was Harry's turn, Mrs. Weasley had a hard time.
She remembered that Harry's aunt and uncle hated wizards so much that using an owl would definitely turn them off.
"Leave it to me, Molly." At this point, Mr. Weasley stepped forward and said confidently, "I know exactly how Muggles send letters...... They need this. ”
As he spoke, Mr. Weasley grabbed a handful of colorful stamps from his pocket.
"Just stick these stamps on the envelope and throw them in the mailbox, which happens to have one at the entrance to the Ministry of Magic...... I've wanted to try it for a long time. ”
"Are you sure? Arthur. Mrs. Weasley asked, "Just put it in that tube?" ”
"You should trust me...... I'm a professional. ”
"Alright then...... Mrs. Weasley, picking up the stamp, "how much shall I affix?" ”
Mr. Weasley was stunned for a moment, and after thinking for a moment, he gritted his teeth, "It's sticky, if there aren't enough stamps, the letter will be returned." ”
"Good!"
Kyle then watched as Mrs. Weasley had put all the stamps on the envelope, leaving only a small piece about an inch square to fill in the Dursleys' address.
"Actually......" Kyle couldn't help but say, "one stamp is enough, and if you put too many of them, it will make people suspicious." ”
"Oh, is one enough?" Mr. Weasley was surprised.
"That's right." Kyle nodded, picking out a tenpence stamp, "This one will do, take off the rest." ”
Mr. Weasley was the quickest, and he put the stamps away in a couple of clicks.
This is his treasure, he was in pain when he posted it just now, and now it is lost and recovered.
After settling the matter with the letter, Mrs. Weasley clapped her hands.
"Alright, it's the weekend, we just have to wait until Friday to pick up Harry, just in time."
"Then what if his aunt and uncle don't agree." Ron asked, "He can't afford to miss this race." ”
"Of course he can't miss it."
Mrs. Weasley said, "We're going to pick him up whether the family wants it or not, but it's better to pretend to ask for their opinion out of politeness." ”
