Chapter 128: A Kind-Hearted Outlander
"Never walked out, what do you mean?"
On the long bronze table, Audrey once again felt the atmosphere of listening to a horror story, and gently hugged her arm with a shudder.
Above the gray fog, surrounded by the eyes of the members, Derick ignited the hope of breaking the game again, and quickly described the process:
"What we are exploring is a temple of the Creator. The frescoes on the temple probably tell the story of the Creator's battle against evil after the end of the world. β
"However, we have never stepped out of this temple!"
"We cycled through the same experience five times."
"Each cycle starts with us resting in the camp and ends with Lord Chief killing a weird boy named Jack."
"If it weren't for Mr. 'Fool' reminding me and this tarot party, I wouldn't even know that I have been living a repetitive life all this time."
He went on to recount Jack in detail, the subtle changes in his five experiences, and the murals he saw.
The murals depict a large number of strange monsters fighting against the Creator.
But behind the Creator, there was a small pilgrimage procession.
In addition, while new surprises arise along the way, what remains constant is that there will always be an anomaly that attacks Jack, the boy of Darik's team.
This matter had actually bothered him when he entered the gray mist, but the blood lines around him interrupted the progress of his inquiry.
The atmosphere became serious.
Alger analyzed in a deep voice: "Could it be the ability of the high character?" β
"Since it is true, no, it is normal that the temple of the fallen creator will have some extraordinary influence that exceeds the level of demigods and demimen."
"If it's a nightmare or a hallucination, it's easy to solve, after all, you've already retrieved your memories with the help of Mr. Fool, and you can detect something wrong just by returning to reality."
"But if it's really going into a loop, things might be bad."
How long does it take to cycle?
Hearing this, Furth suddenly felt a little familiar, his expression changed slightly, and he subconsciously raised his hand and bit his nails.
Audrey, who knew her, found out immediately.
"Miss Magician, does this ability make you think of anything?" She asked with concern.
"Huh?" Furth raised his eyes and shook his head hesitantly, "No, I'm not sure if it's the same one. β
She slurped a little, as if she was afraid of someone, so in the end she only summed it up in vague terms:
"Time-related events, I've encountered before."
"Is that probably the extraordinary ability of a certain high-sequence?"
She was referring to the one she was rescued from Beckland Green Cemetery last week.
All of those who experienced it vividly preserved their memories of the sudden regression from the NDE. However, because of the low personality, they did not see Ulorius at work.
"In that case, it's really possible." After Alger chewed it carefully, a flash of inspiration flashed in his mind, "Speaking of which, I remember that one of the murals you mentioned about 'The Sun' had a description related to this?" β
"Circulating rivers often represent destiny. Does it mean that you actually met?"
Ager interrupted their conversation with a sudden opening: "Not Ulorius. β
Everyone's eyes suddenly focused.
"It's not that I met Ulorius." He shook his head at the Hanged Man, "It may be the same sequence of items affected by His extraordinary powers, but it's not me. β
"Ulorius is in Rune now."
The information contained in the words caused the discussion of the Tarot Society members to come to an abrupt halt and look at each other.
They were all discussing the message of the angels in awe, except for Mr. Bishop, as if he were telling the story of the next-door neighbor.
How tall you are!
Thinking of this, Furth shuddered unconsciously.
Was it her delusion? How did she think that Mr. Bishop's way of speaking was so much like that evil night watchman who would get in the way and rob him?!
Before you know it, the Night Church has gained notoriety in Beckland and on the seas.
In the gaze of 'Sun' Deric's eyes, Yager finally unfolded the narrative and explained a little more: "Time lapse and loop should be the power of this angel king, and the sequence in which he is located. β
"At present, the two high-level sequences of this sequence who can unleash this ability should be in Rune, not in the temple you met."
"But technically, could it be that His power influenced that boy?"
He casually made a guess.
This reminds the hanged man of other important messages:
"That's right."
"The Sun's description of Jack and his father reminds me of something."
"Among the members of the Aurora Society that I hunted was a 'listener' whose goal was to find the sanctuary of the true Creator. The 'listener' also had his child, close in age to Jack! β
"You mean, that Jack came from your world around Silver City?" Derick asked in amazement. In addition to being surprised, there was actually some joy.
This shows that there is still a way for the outside world to reach Silver City!
Is there a chance that they will get out of this dark region?!
After thinking for a moment, Yager also agreed with this possibility: "I think it's possible. β
"The Angel of Destiny has only recently come to Rune. Perhaps Jack was influenced by him along the way, or obtained something related to it, further distorting the temple's time. β
"After all, the end of the cycle is Jack's death every time."
Aside from the ability of the Mercury Serpent, it is difficult for any other person or path to cause such a direct distortion of time.
Alger, along with Miss Audrey, who had been listening, agreed with the remark and nodded convincingly.
But there was also horror in their eyes.
Mr. Bishop is so clear about the whereabouts of a king of angels!
Could it be that they know each other?!
Shocked eyes, both bright and dark, cast at Yager.
After a brief moment of thought, Derick pursed his lips and replied, "I see, Mr. Bishop." Thank you very much, you are such a kind sir! β
But is it possible for you to know, how did they get in?"
"If Silver City has a way to connect with the outside world, it will completely change our lives!"
He looked anxiously and expectantly.
Unfortunately, even though he used a new adjective to describe the evil outlander who usually doesn't do anything, he didn't get the answer he wanted.
Yager shook his head helplessly: "I'm sorry, I don't know. β
He hadn't asked Ulorius about it before.
Because
"I do know of a passage that has a high probability of connecting to Silver City, but I don't really want to explore it for the time being, and I suggest you don't try it either."
"What?" Derick was stunned for a moment, then even more confused and agitated, "Is there something wrong around Silver City?!" β
"I'm willing to pay all the price I can in exchange for this information!"
"Not really."
Yager spread his hands gently: "Actually, this message can be given to you for free, because knowing it doesn't help much." β
"The passage I am talking about is a mausoleum, and it is around Beckland. The passage is said to be stable, and there is no problem getting in and out of the Forsaken Lands. β
"The only flaw isβ"
"It belongs to Amon."
"And it's being used."
Derick's anxiety immediately froze on his face.
Beside him, the various speculations carried by the members of the Tarot Society stopped in an instant, and the scene fell into an awkward silence. For a while, no one commented on it.
But everyone came up with the same idea:
That's like, indeed, it's about the same as not having a channel.
It's not even as good as nothing.
