Clarification on the farce of the "wild and unsparing".

Well, I'm almost writing about this background, so it's worth mentioning it, otherwise it might be controversial.

After all, scribbling some history without verification is really confusing, so it is necessary for me to examine it in detail.

Evidence is to lay out the facts first, then reason, the facts first, the evidence first; Speculation comes last, imagination comes last.

What is false is false, and the more the truth is argued, the clearer it becomes, and if it is true, it must be spoken out loud and shouted!

I'm not going to say" That's what it says in the New Tang Book. I wrote it alone, there is no need to overturn the case for some historical figures, what Ouyang Xiu and Sima Guang say, I will follow them, as long as I feel happy."

I don't have such an irresponsible spirit of writing.

To write a book is to be a human being. Or even be a person first, and then make a fuss. If his body is not correct, how can what he writes be correct? It is in itself the responsibility of the writer of history to tell the history that the reader does not know so that they can understand the truth!

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

First of all, let's talk about what the farce of "Wild Immortals" is all about.

In the sixth year of Tianbao, Tang Xuanzong Li Longji continued the "Kaiyuan Prosperous Era" to the Tang Dynasty in order to create a prosperous era like the "rule of Zhenguan". For the sake of his vanity, he was comparable to Taizong everywhere, so he issued an edict: All talents with skills in the four seas can be gathered in Beijing to participate in the selection of them by the imperial court.

However, when Li Linfu, the prime minister of the court, was afraid of the palace examination, those talented people accused him of dereliction of duty and sin in front of the emperor, so he said to the emperor: Among the talents who came to participate in the selection of the imperial court this time, all of them were people who were not talented, and they could not be called talents. He deliberately made it difficult for the talents who came to take the exam, and went through all the poems and songs, and after screening, no one was selected.

Li Linfu immediately reported the matter to the emperor and congratulated him, claiming that "there is no sage left behind". Today, Banzai has recruited all the talented people from all over the world to the DPRK and the Central Committee, and there is no one left among the people. And then Brother Ji actually believed it!

……………………………………………………………………

As for the matter, this is probably the thing, which is very in line with the aesthetics of the literati doctors of the Song Dynasty, and it is recorded in the "New Tang Book" and "Zizhi Tongjian", and Li Linfu was nailed to the pillar of shame.

But, this matter, well, how to say it, although it cannot be 100% falsified, it has a high probability that it was made up by the people of the Song Dynasty.

Let's see what Zizhi Tongjian has to say.

"Zizhi Tongjian": If you want to seek people from all over the world, you will learn from all over the world. Li Linfu was afraid of the people of the grass and the wilderness, and reprimanded him for his treacherous ...... It is to order the county magistrate to practice intensively, and those who are beyond the scorching are named and sent to the provincial party committee for re-examination, and the imperial history is the ...... Those who have come have tried to use poetry, endowment, and theory, but no one has reached the first. Lin Fu is the best sage of the above table.

The saying here is that "there is no one who is the first". That is, the evidence of "no sage left behind".

The statement of the "New Tang Book" is similar, and there are no examples.

So where is the original source of this historical material? In fact, "Zizhi Tongjian" and "New Tang Dynasty Book" are both copied from the party Yuan Jie (Du Fu is also in this exam).

The party Yuan Jie's "Yu You" said this: Tianbao Dinghai, the edict of the world's corporals, there is an artist who can be selected as a master of Beijing, and Xiangguo Jin Gong Lin Fu is a lot of people in the grass, for fear of leaking the opportunity at that time...... So the person who played the system ordered the chief of the book to take the exam, and the eunuch in the imperial history tried to be like a regular official (such as the official department to test poems, fu, treatises, and strategies), and the people of cloth had no rank, so they congratulated the lord and thought that there was no sage left behind.

The saying here is that "there is no one who has been clothed". Remove those different word orders, and there are two more keywords: cloth clothes!

So let's explain what this "cloth" means.

The summary is: people who have not been an official (but it is extremely implied that they have the qualifications to be an official).

For example, in Li Bai's poem "Gift to Cui Sihu Wen Kunji", there is "cloth clothes serve Danqi, dense grass silk." Not only did he say that he was clothy, but he also strongly implied that he had the qualifications to be an official, but he didn't meet Huaicai.

Therefore, the word "cloth" that appears in ancient texts often refers to those who are qualified to be officials, and it is a metaphor for those who "do not meet talents". It's not that you can't be an official just because you're a "cloth cloth". This is the pride of later literati doctors. It's not the people in cloth who are in office, and for them, this is injustice.

It belongs to some kind of "political correctness".

If you're a big businessman, you usually wear silk and satin. Then you are indeed a "cloth cloth", but you are the kind of "fake cloth clothes" that are not qualified to appear in the articles of literati doctors.

The contrast here is clear.

Yuan Jie just said that this time, none of the people in cloth who have the qualifications to be officials but have not been officials have been hit.

In a subtle way, Sima Guang and Ouyang Xiu wrote history books like this, deliberately removing the word "cloth", what they wanted to express, and they probably understood it very well.

So, is it true that no one has been admitted this time? In fact, as long as you don't treat Li Longji as a fool, you know, it's absolutely impossible!

You can think that Brother Ji is bad to the bone, but how can you question Brother Ji's IQ!

Then, it was recorded in other historical materials that someone was indeed admitted to the imperial examination this time.

There is a person named Xue Ju, who won the Jinshi in the ninth year of Kaiyuan, and he came back to take the exam, and the result was ...... Well, at that time, there were indeed people who drove in the opposite direction, and Xiao Fang's story was based on this person, I said, the ridiculous stories I wrote were all prototypes, and I didn't dare to build scenes casually.

There is also a petty official who has not taken the imperial examination before and was a county lieutenant in a remote area, Zhang Zhi, the county lieutenant of Hanzhou (a "wade").

There are only 2 people recorded in historical records, and others that are not recorded, so more are not excluded. However, the historical data does not record it, which was a normal situation at the time, and it cannot be explained that there is little in it.

In the twenty-first year of Kaiyuan, only Li Shiyu (multi-talented) can be examined today.

In the first year of Tongtian and the second year of Chang'an, the "Taiping Yulan" also recorded only one person and the first.

So is the identity of cloth cloth discriminated against in the imperial examination? The answer is that it is indeed discriminated against, and even before the Anshi Rebellion, there was a situation of not being admitted, except for this "wild and unsparing sage".

Like what:

In the fifteenth year of Kaiyuan, the winners of the system countermeasures included Xiao Liang, the lieutenant of Lantian County, Cao Liang She, the right guard, and Zhang Xi, the son of Pizhou Zhuguo, etc., all of whom were incumbent officials.

Emperor Yuan Qianyao, Du Xian, Li Yuanxian and others said: "I ...... Therefore, every time I think of the searcher, I am afraid that the grass will be left behind, and there is no way to reach it. As for Wei Weizuo, without selection, he even competed with the brown clothes, which was not my original intention. ”

Since Zhang Xi is the only one, he will be released, and the rest will be stopped.

At that time, the Kaiyuan Dynasty was in full swing, but Brother Ji wanted to choose Buyi, and no one in Buyi could be selected, so he could only wronged those non-rogue officials, and only one person was retained. The cloth doctors of the Song Dynasty, why didn't they sympathize with these "non-cloth clothes" who were hit and inexplicably carried down?

These historical materials also prove from the side that the return of non-liuguan officials to take the imperial examination (such as Gao Shi) was a bumpy passage for literati to advance at that time. There are a lot of people who play like this.

…………………………………………………………………………

What does it mean to say so much?

It's the historical background, and if you can try to be true, then you have to put as much effort as possible. If it is changed because of "creative needs", then it is necessary to grasp the big and let go of the small, grasp the main pulse of history, and what can be discarded can only be the details, not the backbone!

Li Linfu is indeed extremely selfish, but he should be innocent in the "Wild and Virtuous" incident. In other words, he can't afford to fight with those "people in cloth", and he also risks "bullying the king".

This kind of work with very little or no returns and extremely risky is something that normal people would not do. The Song Dynasty scholars and doctors repaired the history books themselves with a crooked butt, and before listening to them, they had to go through their brains first, analyze more from human nature and original materials, or have different answers.

For example, Ouyang Xiu's version of "killing three sons in one day" is nonsense, how could the crown prince Li Ying be at the mercy of Concubine Wu Hui and fooled! Later, he was slapped in the face by Zhang Jiuling Shendao Monument. Whoever copies this example as the background of historical materials will also be slapped in the face along with it.

If Li Linfu is really portrayed like this, it is to treat historical figures as fools, and to put it seriously, it is historical nihilism.

Again, the author I will not treat readers as fools, no matter what the results of this book are, this is my principle. Readers pay to subscribe to my books, then I won't be fooled.
