Today is a day of retreat

Yesterday I was reading books in Tomato, and I was so excited that I didn't go to bed until four o'clock in the morning. I feel like I've come out of a misunderstanding.

What is this misunderstanding, that is, many of the so-called bestsellers I have been reading are actually spicy chicken to some extent. I've always been misled by the rankings, thinking that they are still written with merit.

But in fact, just because your work is better than these spicy chickens doesn't mean you can succeed.

Because the success of these books is only the accumulation of many factors, including the capital behind it, the strong promotion of websites, and the unscrupulous operation. Such a book can neither represent the direction of the development of online literature, nor can it provide me with positive cases.

In other words, if the book were a first-class author, competing on the same stage at the starting point without operations and without a fan base, it might be nothing.

In other words, the ceiling that can be reached is extremely low, and it does not represent the mainstream of historical literature at all, let alone any development trends.

Then I saw on the free tomatoes how the "flowers outside the greenhouse" bloomed and how these saplings were growing under the competitive conditions of "not attracting readers and dying immediately".

The result was a great understanding.

Tomatoes are indeed rotten tomatoes, and there are a lot of complaints about them, but they don't say much, only the advantages.

In terms of "readability", I think the bestsellers of Tomato have comprehensively outperformed the top level of the starting point. Ordinary readers, on the other hand, cannot use words to describe the difference between the so-called "Xiaobaiwen" and "readability", and even some best-selling authors can't say why.

That's how I understand it.

Because I don't understand anything, I make up and scribble "Bai", which is Xiaobaiwen, because logic is not considered, so everything is detached from reality, and even cannot be logically self-consistent, which will give readers a clear sense of alienation, which is the first layer.

Then there is the beautiful packaging, but everything is the author's final say, resulting in a series of coincidences, completely ignoring human nature and social background, just seeking to be happy, and the content is empty, this is the second layer.

The second is to ensure the logic of the book, as well as the general logic of the social background and historical background, but it is written very dryly, so that the reader cannot understand the author's intention, which is the third layer.

By the third layer, it's actually already very powerful. Many famous works in modern France are at this level, and it is often a modern person who has died a hundred years after the author's death can understand what the author wants to express.

But I think there is a higher level here, that is, we have thoroughly understood those human nature, historical backgrounds, and historical events, and can use them freely. Even if you are a novice who doesn't understand anything, you can understand the author's intention very well and don't have any reading disabilities.

This level is what I think is the highest level, and of course, I can't do that right now.

For example, a "Xiaobai" historical text, the language in it can no longer be more popular, and the story line cannot be simpler, however, it can tell the story clearly, tell it wonderfully, and tell it so that ordinary readers can deeply understand its historical environment and historical background, and it is not made up nonsense, and the evidence is accurate and not hard.

Isn't this kind of book amazing?

Is it more self-congratulatory than some authors, always emphasizing what "no coincidence is not a book", but in fact, it is just a historical skin, but it is actually a powerful work of idol dramas?

Some people think that the "ceiling" is like that, isn't it ridiculous?

It is very sad to fall into the situation of a frog at the bottom of a well, and think that the sky is only so short without looking at the sky.

It's like the complaints of many readers in my comment area, their opinions are very naïve, they don't understand the historical background of the Tang Dynasty at all, and even these opinions are not worth refuting.

However, it feels complicated and laborious to refute them, which in itself is a weak control over the information and storyline. In fact, it seems that I am also half a loser.

Just because someone writes something better than Spicy Chicken doesn't mean that he is not an author of Spicy Chicken, or that he can only write stronger Spicy Chicken works.

But I'm confident, after all, my vision is there, but my hand is still a little short, and I can't write the realm in my mind for the time being.

But that's sooner or later.

Today is a day of retreat to change your mind, and tomorrow you will make up for today's double change.
