Trick 50 "Book Spirit-II"
My understanding of it is that the spirit of the book is more like something in the space between three and four dimensions, which is created by the thinking nerves in the human brain and then active in the written words. Absorb the energy of all those who know it, know it, worship it, and fear it, so as to survive and not die. And some are created by the imagination of people who are obsessed, or who are very obsessed, and their existence is synchronized with the creator.
It's like when I read a novel, I believe very much that the people in it are real, and over time, this paranoid belief will virtualize a "person" who is captive by the beliefs of the creator.
For example, Zhang Qiling, the little brother in "Notes on Tomb Robbery", there are too many people who know him, like him, and worship him, and these beliefs have turned into a force of energy and directly resurrected Zhang Qiling to the real world. Whether it's true or not, many people have posted photos or videos of encountering Zhang Qiling, a person who is extremely similar.
may be mostly for sensationalism, traffic and people's attention, but such a daily spread of people and clouds, maybe one day, it can really resurrect a Zhang Qiling.
The reason why I have this idea is probably because of a few things that happened during the time I was writing supernatural stories. I'm neutral on everything and won't take sides, but I'm probably more inclined to believe in Shuling and my current attitude.
It's easy for people who write stories to get themselves into the plot of the story they're writing, and that's what I did. It's easy to get into the play when you write, which is extremely unfriendly to people like me who write ghost stories.
And I like to sit at the desk in the middle of the night by the computer to write slowly, when writing "Dead Skin Child", I frantically searched for the experience of watching dead skin children with my friends on the way to school and under the stone bridge according to my childhood memories.
As my memory deepened, that scene quickly came to my mind, and the image in front of me appeared along with it. This kind of supporting writing is like opening a hanging, and it gets a chapter done quickly, but it also has side effects.
That night, I had a dream in which I woke up from my bedroom at home and wanted to go to the bathroom. Then, as soon as I got to the bedroom door, a child ran out of the other bedroom on one side, and ran towards me and called Daddy, and I was a little blindsided at that moment, because the child's face was the face of the dead child in my story.
When I woke up, I looked at my pregnant wife, and I was a little nervous, and I didn't know whether to be scared or worried.
I'm not a timid person, and I'm certainly not a bold person, and time quickly washes away this memory, and life goes back to normal. However, as I updated this novel, I became more and more proficient in writing, and from time to time I felt like I was in the scene I had created.
When I wrote about my grandfather, I was so excited that I cried and couldn't control my emotions. It was around midnight, and I was letting loose as I fingered on the keyboard.
As I looked up and rested, I suddenly saw a hunched shadow behind me looking at me through the reflection of the window glass. The gesture and vague outline had a bit of a grandfather's look, and I quickly turned my head to look behind me, but there was nothing.
My desk is next to the window in the second bedroom, and there is a large sliding glass door behind it, so when I occasionally look up, I can see the reflection on the sliding glass behind the glass through the reflection of the window glass.
So there have been many times when I've been writing a story, and I've caught a glimpse of something like a dark shadow flashing by.
Before writing a story, the brain goes through it once, sometimes several times, to the image of each character who appears. So for someone like me who writes supernatural stories, it's like walking through the story several times.
In the meantime, I experienced the sourness that can be imagined, so I asked other people who write supernatural stories on the message board of the website, and some people replied below that they had the same experience, and finally gave me a sentence: We are the creators of the story and not the story itself, so we don't need to dwell on it too much.
But a big part of the stories I write are what I see and feel, and that's probably a factor that makes the story or the characters in the story more vivid, because there are some things that I believe.
One of these horrors that struck me the most was a real, sudden experience when I was writing Strange Stories of the Auto Soldiers. I wrote late that time, probably around half past one in the morning, and I was fascinated by what I was writing.
Suddenly, the back of the chair I was sitting on felt like someone had been poked, and the fitness strap that I had been wrapped around the back of the chair fell to the floor. Frightened, I quickly turned my head to check the situation, and saw a shadow faintly flashing through the reflection of the glass sliding door.
It happened so quickly that I didn't react for a moment, and after I had calmed down a bit, I got up and walked around the room. I didn't find anything unusual, but the state I had just been writing had been ruined, so I cleaned up and went back to my bedroom to sleep.
After that, when I sat by the window late at night and wrote, I would always look up and look around from time to time, as if something was really peeping at me. It's not good to be nervous during this time, but writing supernatural stories late at night is also my favorite state of writing.
Another time, at night, I was a little tired in front of the computer, so I changed to a mobile phone and lay on the bed to continue coding. At that time, the lights in the room were all off, the only thing that was on was the light of my phone screen, and the glass sliding door was less than a meter away from my side.
When decorating the house, I felt that this kind of glass sliding door showed light and space, so I did not hesitate to choose. But after using it, I found that at night, it is like a big mirror, which will scare you coldly.
In the gap between the codes, I saw my shadow reflected on the glass sliding door at a glance, and a little light was cast on my face, and then reflected into my vision through the glass, and I would be startled if I didn't pay attention.
Unfortunately, this light reflected the scene outside the window behind me, so I could also see through the sliding glass door, which is why I repeatedly unintentionally looked out of the window as if a face was staring at me.
Just in the lower right corner of the window, the outline of the head is clear at a glance, and it can be ruled out that people or animals pass by occasionally, because I live on the eighth floor, and there is nothing outside the window except for two air conditioners.
It was as if all kinds of ghosts and monsters in the book were alive, haunting me one after another, trying to break through the shackles and appear in this world from all latitudes.
Coincidentally, my boyfriend was in a car accident and her mother seemed to be seriously ill when the previous owner of my house sold it to me, all after I made a down payment.
The house is a boxy two-bedroom house, but the door to the master bedroom is facing the main door, and there is no grid in the middle, and the balcony is facing the door of the master bedroom. This is easy to form a style of over-the-top, unable to keep money, and prone to bad luck.
Despite this, the location of this house and the tight money in my hand made it so I had to choose to live in. But before that, I renovated the house inside and out, changed the original layout, and put some items in the house that could change the overall feng shui layout, and then moved in.
But the magnetic field of the house itself can't be changed, and I met a novice author like me who writes supernatural stories, and I like to create in the middle of the night. The combination of these coincidental factors is likely to be the cause of the strange phenomenon, making it easier for the things depicted in the book to manifest themselves.
Maybe all of this is a bit fanciful, and it seems like the imagination of some person with a bad mind, but the situation that happened a few times late at night was really amazing.
I am a novice author who believes in the existence of book spirits, and I am waiting for the book spirits that have a causal relationship with me to appear.
