Chapter 833: Surprise Attack
The new Vengeful Spirit has suffered a sudden disaster.
The orniths didn't react at all.
The wizards of the fleet, the plague warlocks, and the psykers of the Black Legion, the guys wearing all sorts of detection equipment made by Vashtor detected nothing.
The Spirit of Vengeance was attacked in an instant.
The attack was so sudden.
While Typhons was discussing with Vashtor and the surviving servants of the Blood God about whether to cooperate and the results were about to pop up, the ship's command deck was knocked through.
Even more outrageous was the fact that it was a battleship that crashed through the deck.
Then the ship suddenly disappeared again, leaving behind only the corpses of hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded slaves, the raging fire in the battleship, and the wet parts that kept reporting damage.
The entire hull of the new vengeful spirit, which was less than twenty kilometers long, was knocked out of a huge damage about a kilometer in diameter.
If the fleet were to sail in real space, the entire battleship would have sunk, and if it didn't, it would be over, because the vacuum would suck the entire crew out of the cabin.
"We actually paralyzed their defenses?" Lupelzi couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Instead of going backwards with the ship they were on, the Ahriman and his party teleported out the ship and went directly to the shell of the new Vengeful Spirit.
Until the shell was knocked open, and the group walked in along the damage.
“……”
Ahriman didn't say a word.
Bang –
The sound of a blaster firing rang out.
A blast bomb traveled hundreds of meters to reach Ahriman, who used his psionic energy to pull the corpse of a veteran of the Black Legion of the Eternal War, blocking the incoming blast.
The veteran's body was then casually tossed aside by Ahriman.
The powerful wizard continued to walk down the gap.
There was no path ahead, the hull that had previously sunk inward in the impact, the structure of the battleship and the like acted as a bridge for the Ariman group, but now none of them could find a way.
But that's not a problem for Ahriman at all.
With a flick of his scepter, the chief wizard raised the ground of the command deck directly from the ground, forming a massive arched bridge along with the structures below the lower levels of the battleship.
In this way, Ahriman continued down the "arched bridge", while his eyes under the horned helmet looked down on all the enemies in the bridge mercilessly, coldly, and contemptuously.
It was Typhonse who had just shot.
"You bastard!" Nurgle on the tumor on Taiphons' shoulder screamed, "You actually smashed open the shell of the new flagship and rushed in!" You damn thing! Where did you get such great power! ”
"I have been preparing for this operation for a long time, paying a lot of price, and I have also let others help me pay a lot of price." The ethereal voice echoed directly in everyone's ears.
Rite.
Psionics are connected to the subspace, they are psychic, and some psykers know the use of many rituals even from birth.
And a psyker like Ahriman, a psyker who pursues knowledge, naturally knows more rituals, but in order to achieve the current effect, he has to pay a lot of price, or let others help him pay the price.
Sixty-six imperial worlds, sixty-six demonic worlds.
Everything on it, the population, the environment, the history, the emotions of all time, the love and hate, all became the price of the ritual.
Others had all sorts of ideas about whether the ritual was worth it, but Ahriman felt it was really worth it.
Because the power of this ritual not only allowed Ahriman to control a warship and plunge into the new vengeful spirit, but also to block other ships that tried to come to reinforce them.
The Black Legion and a handful of other Sadistic warships were rushing towards the new Vengeful Spirit, which was actually a cruiser-turned-flagship, but they soon discovered that no matter how hard the ship tried, it couldn't get even a step closer to the flagship.
"Lupelzi!"
"Lupelzi!"
The roar suddenly reached Lupelzi's ears behind Ahriman.
The latter looked for a voice and saw a former fighting brother.
"You damned traitor! I'm going to punish you for the father of genes! Punish you traitor who has turned his back on the Legion! ”
"I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you! ”
The Terminator-clad warrior roared and ran towards Lupelzi.
"On one piece." Lupelzi drew his sword and prepared to meet him, "Sons of Abaddon! ”
However, Ahriman clearly doesn't want to let Lupelzi waste time on a small role.
When the warrior who roared and rushed towards Lupelzi had just made a slashing motion, his body immediately stopped.
"Stop." "Shut up," Ahriman said. ”
The warrior's mouth disappeared from his face, and the whole person remained completely motionless.
Then Lupelzi swung his sword, splattering the blood of his former fighting brothers on the spot.
The soul is sucked in by the magic sword.
The magic sword let out a cheerful laugh, instilling the power it had refined into its master.
Lupelzi took a deep breath, then exhaled in a shudder, finally glancing fiercely at all his former fighting brothers who were buried in the rubble or standing in place.
"Where is your current master?"
"Sons of Abaddon, answer me."
As he spoke, Lupelzi looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the damned figure with the hammer in hand.
He had already heard that since Abaddon's fate was unknown, the Black Legion had been taken over by another abomination.
That abomination was even a subspace creature, a demon.
But now Vashtor is not on the command deck.
Typhons looked around, and when he saw that Vashtor was gone, he immediately got up and ran in the opposite direction of the enemy.
It's a shameful act made out of fear.
There was a rumor circulating among the many Nurgle followers that the Father was branded with fear and that its influence would gradually spread to all believers.
Typhonse didn't know if it was true or not, but his fear now was not the fear of death, but the fear that he might be reshaped after death and lose himself again.
"Please kill him, and then I'll read his brain." Ahriman said to Lupelzi.
Lupelzie rushed forward with his sword.
Typhonse turned around and unleashed a blast of psionic energy.
The scepter in Ahriman's hand touched the ground, and the onslaught that Lupelzi was about to mobilize to respond to vanished.
Then the son of Horus stepped forward and cut off Typhons' head with a sword.
"Disgusting stuff."
Lupelzi stomped on the corpse's tumor.
And the power absorbed by the magic sword was also transmitted into Lupelzi's body again, weakly strengthening him.
