2.73--------- small fierce battle
CHAPTER XXVIII
"People forget that samurai are also human.
In fact, they forget that they are usually young. The average age to become a pioneer is seventeen. Is that...... That's too young. I was thirteen years old.
In most places, young people are not allowed to drink alcohol and can buy anything from sources they can't control. The government no longer taxes you, but it also expects you to work for them. The company is slyly approaching, ready to try to lock you into a contract.
Your worth depends on how many people you can kill.
It's easy to kill the aliens. It's pretty clean. They're just monsters. It became a kind of game. It's funny.
What makes things difficult is the people you need to deal with. “

I don't know what leaked information?. Maybe it was my exclamation, or the way I raised my gun and pointed it at the ceiling. Maybe they've noticed that I've noticed them.
It doesn't matter.
A foot-long bone spur pierced the heads of the two men in the middle of the group, and more than a dozen tentacles fell from it, grabbing the neck and arms.
The lights fell, and the other lights rose to the ceiling, revealing two near the top of the staircase... No, three Alien Beasts No. 4. Screams followed.
Jeff raised his pistol into the air and shot all the bullets in the magazine into one of the monsters. A moment later, the storm also began to shoot.
In the narrow stairwell, the noise is incredible, accompanied by frantic screams.
One of the aliens fell from above and hit the people below.
The stairs here follow the walls, with small platforms at each corner. This is more or less where Model Four hides. Two of them couldn't even reach anyone at first, until they fell hard and started waving their limbs at everyone.
I raised my gun and aimed at the nearest monster. When someone pushes me, my goal is disrupted.
The heel of my shoe slipped down the steps I was on, and I rolled over to get up. I tripped backwards when another idiot hit me, and my gun flew away as I grabbed the nearest railing for support.
Someone stepped on me, someone fell down the stairs, rolled off my back, and fell to the ground.
I couldn't find my gun, and in almost total darkness, only the frantically flickering lights illuminated everything. "Guns!" I say.
Do you have anything in particular that you need?
I rolled over, lay on my back, and looked up to see a black figure awkwardly walking towards me from the stairs. Monsters, one of them grabbing a lady I saw in the bathroom. As it stumbled down the stairs on all fours, her head hit the wall.
"Guns!" I screamed.
My hands were filled with something heavy and cold. I held it up and saw a large circle of light in front of me, coming from directly below a thick bucket. I pulled the trigger with my finger again and again, hoping this thing didn't have a damn safety device.
Gunfire roared.
I frowned as it almost came out of my hand while a beam of bullets leaped forward, sewing a row of holes into Alien Four.
It lunged forward, twitching tentacles pressing me down the steps, and I pushed it away with all my might. The woman, or rather, her body, collapsed beside me. I flinched at it, but I didn't have time to panic.
There were more monsters in the room. Stormgirl held a pointy tentacle in each of her hands and kicked it out at the same time.
Another beast was throwing a man down the middle of the stairwell.
I aimed at that one first, holding the new gun tightly. It screamed, and dozens of bullets erupted from it.
A little off, ha, only half of the bullets splashed into the center of mass of the aliens. Enough to make it die.
I turned to the next one and pulled the trigger. Two, maybe three bullets were fired, and the gun went off.
Forget it!
I did so, and the gun's glow swirled until it crashed to the floor below.
After a while, a new, smaller gun appeared in my hand, and a new reticle flashed red, locking onto the last creature.
Two shots of four miniature missiles flew through the space between me and the monster.
I heard eight satisfying pops and saw the beast tremble. It slipped to the side and died.
The storm staggered backwards. He was short of breath and sweat soaked his hair. In disgust, he tossed aside the tentacles he was still clutching. "Fuck."
That's it.
I walked past him, over the bodies of four or five of us together, and up the stairs. The door at the top opens and opens into a hallway. At least this one is complete, but the lights on the ceiling are all broken. There was a glimmer of light through the doors and windows at the end of the hallway.
I looked up, and then walked along the ceiling and floor, gazing at every shadow.
It looks clear.
I didn't risk it and closed the door.
"Jeff! Jeff, you idiot - stand up, come on, bro. ”
I gritted my teeth and stared intently at the closed door.
"Jeff!"
I swallowed and turned around. Just one look at Jeff knew he was dead. A nail can do this by passing it through the skull.
But others......
"Myalis, I need medical care, just give me anything, those scores,"
I understand. The sooner we start, the more lives we are likely to be saved.
"yes, yes."
I stumbled to the first place, knelt down, and despite the pain all over my body, I got to work.
I don't have what it takes to handle this, but there's no one else around, am I?
