Chapter 6: The Chivalrous Knight (Part II)

"Array, prepare!"

"Cheer up!"

In the bleak golden sun, Tallinnam, along with the other lords of Bartonnia, stood at the front of the army, boosting the morale of the charging knights.

Dressed in Berto's armor and belt, and wearing Berto's spear and sword, he looked exactly like the Berto lords of yesteryear. At the same time, his martial arts and riding skills have also reached the level of Berto back then. Some people are born legends, and Tallinnam never wanted power and status, however, fate played a joke on him, allowing him to put on the armor of his former lord, inherit the status and power of his former lord, and become a lord of Bretonnia that countless people aspire to be.

Tallinnam rode past the battle, and behind him were two hundred chivalrous knights of Ashkeep. Dressed in armor of various colors and with family crests on their shields, they charged at the enemy under the unified orders of Tallinnam.

On the plain, at the forefront, was Duke Kavin, who had at least a thousand knights of the kingdom under his command, and his horses galloped and the earth trembled. Behind Duke Cavon were lords and knights who followed them from all over the southern borders of Bretonnia. Like a trickle flowing into a great river, when two thousand Bretonnian knights gathered together and launched a collective charge, Greenskin, who was fighting with the peasant army, felt a murderous aura to the bone.

The earth trembled in front of me, and thousands of knights of the kingdom rushed by, splashing dust in the sky, and in my ears were the sound of howling wind, horses' hooves, roars, and trumpets.

Such a picture, such a sight, Tallinnam had experienced countless times, and he was steadfast, the spear in his hand reflecting a dazzling light in the golden sunlight.

The horses galloped in groups, getting faster and faster, reaching their fastest speed when approaching the orc archers.

"Blindfold!"

At the last moment, Tallinnham commanded in a loud voice.

The chivalrous knights behind him immediately covered the eyeholes of the helmets of the horses, and the entire head of the horses was tightly covered by iron armor. Like a tin can, he rushed towards the green-skinned archers who were retreating.

Iron armor collided, war horses neighed, and the blood of the orcs splashed in the wind.

Talinnham gripped the spear tightly, and the heavy cavalry pierced the chest of an orc hunter, the force of the impact dragging it to the ground for several meters before stopping. The spear snapped, making the crunch of a wooden pole breaking. Tallinnham drew his sword, and an orc pounced on him from the side, his horse hissed and leaped high, and a thrust pierced the charging orc, slicing the throat with the knight's sword, and blood gushing out.

Beside him, a young chivalrous knight swung his spear and pinned a goblin to the ground. The horse then stomped on, stomping the goblin archer's head open, spilling blood and brains.

"Bretonnian knights!

Just as Tallinnham was about to assemble his formation, he suddenly heard the passionate and wild shouts of Duke Kavin in front of him. Obviously, he wants to strike while the iron is hot and continue to hit the next wave of green skins.

Right now, the first row of orc archers has been completely crushed, and in the back row, there are goblin archers distributed in a straggler.

With no time to rest, Tallinnham immediately ordered all the knights around him to follow.

Two hundred bretonnian knights once again launched a short charge on the blood-stained battlefield. The shouts, the shouts of killing resounded again.

The young knights held their heads proudly, and at their feet were fleshy and green corpses.

The tide of knights charged once more towards the retreating goblin archers. However, two legs were destined to outrun four, and those goblin troops, although they did not wear any armor, still could not outrun the charging Bretonnian knights.

When the horses collided head-on, the dwarf goblins were powerless, only to hear a burst of screams and the sound of bones breaking, and hundreds of goblin archers were crushed into a piece of meat sauce in an instant......

However, soon, from the front line not far away, there was a thunderous roar of the black orcs. Led by the orc warlords, a part of the orc warriors broke away from the infantry melee on the front line and instead rushed to the human knight forces in the rear.

In front of him, there are orc melee infantry in a rage. Their green skin was soaked with sweat, and their eyes glistened with bloodthirsty scarlet. The hot air exhaled from between the mouth and nose is steaming in the air.

Wahhhhhhhhh......

The roar was getting closer.

However, Duke Calvin Brad was unafraid. He pulled the reins wildly and shouted loudly to order the knight army to turn around. Fight the rushing orc infantry.

The horses gasped, and Tallinnham knew they needed a rest. However, Duke Carvin did not seem to have any intention of resting, and with a wave of his great sword, he galloped in front of the knight army, and let out an impassioned cry—

"For the king! for the goddess of the lake!"

The knights of the kingdom forgot their tiredness and shouted en masse again. The horses stepped forward and charged towards the furious orcs.

"Follow me!"

"Stay in formation!"

"Never back down!"

Duke Calvin Bled took the lead and shouted loudly.

Behind him, the Bretonnian knight rushed faster and faster, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Tallinnam, along with the other lords, also led the team to rush forward. But they were in the rear and could not see the enemy clearly at all. There was only yellow dust and sand rushing in front of you.

Brightly covered in yellow-black dust and scarlet blood, the Bretonnian knights rushed towards the orc warband.

The next moment, the same image appeared again, and it turned out that no mortal body could withstand the charge of the army of Bretonnian knights. The furious orcs raised their tomahawks and prepared to attack, but before the tomahawks and machetes fell, their bodies were torn apart by the whizzing horses.

Like a sandstorm, the knightly army swept through the entire Greenskin Position. Hundreds of green-skinned orcs were crushed, and some were even knocked into the air by the powerful impact of the horse's charge, and their flesh and blood fell from mid-air and were trampled by the war horse that followed behind.

Under the tremendous force of the impact, the orc battle line was torn apart again, and only a third of the orc infantry survived the knightly charge. However, their morale has collapsed.

Facing the direction of the setting sun, countless green skins began to collapse and flee.

"Kill them all!

Duke Calvin Bled on his horse shouted excitedly.

The knights, though out of breath and blood-stained in armor, were still excited. They saw victory, the greenskins, the orcs, these enemies of Bretonnia, but that's it.

I saw that the knights of the kingdom under the duke began to pursue, slaughtering those orcs who were fleeing. Together with the duke himself, he took part in the ensuing massacre.

Looking at the bloody scene in front of him, Tallinnham only felt that something was wrong, he remembered the king's orders, remembered the information given by the scouts. There are far more orcs from Oka Mountain......

"Wait!"

With this in mind, Tallinnham decided not to pursue it anymore. The knights obeyed the lord's orders. But more of the Bretonnian army, led by the Duke himself, pursued the scattered Greenskins.

Tallinnham tightened his mount under his crotch, and his horse, Silver Swordland, hissed and galloped forward.

He must find the Duke himself and persuade him to stop this crazy order.

Passing over hordes of Bretonnian knights and cutting down several orcs and goblins in their way, finally, in the chaotic slaughter fields, Tallinnham found Duke Kavin himself.

Duke Kavin in front of him was already covered in blood, it was the blood of orcs and goblins, and his weapons were completely stained red with blood. Just as he could think, before Tallinnham could utter his voice, he heard the Duke shouting at him—

"Baron Tallinnam, order your knights to hunt down those orcs! now!"

"We must wait until the King's army arrives!"

Tallinnham shouted in response. However, no one listened to his shouts, and Duke Calvin Brad showed a look of disdain and disdain.

"Go, wait for the king's command. When my sword cuts off the head of an orc warlord, you can only watch from behind. The goddess of the lake blesses the brave, not the cowardly!"

Kavin Bryd laughed loudly. Then he didn't listen, he tightened the reins and galloped away.

Tallinnham froze where he was, and groups of knights galloped past him, and in his ears came the mournful cries of countless greenskins.
