CHAPTER XXXVIII
"So, this is the north! It's amazing! "I knew that I didn't have as much experience as Miss Kit, so I took out my notebook and started taking notes.
"Then, we're going all the way north to the mass grave, rumor has it...... The place is haunted, especially at night...... There are a lot of things that are not seen. Miss Kit started making up ghost stories.
"Don't scare me, you made it up!" I shuddered with fear, she knew that I was most afraid of ghosts, but she came to scare me, what a beating!
"Yes, but let's think about it from another angle, some of these ghosts are your relatives and some are the relatives of Chris and Kria, these are the souls that others want but don't." Miss Kit said as she looked at the layers of dense forest deeply.
"There's some truth to that, let's go, we'll have to go through the mass grave before it gets dark." I rolled over and made my way to the woods with difficulty.
"Do you think there's going to be anything weird here? For example, pythons? "I asked Miss Kit, who had more wilderness survival skills than I could.
"There's a good chance there will be, so take the dagger on your body. Don't fall to the ground, because you don't know that a little noise can attract a whole bunch of cryptoptera. Miss Kit whispered.
"What is a cryptoptera?" I whispered to Miss Kit.
Suddenly I felt a jolt, the horse neighed, and I fell off the horse: "Come back quickly, Dorjee!" I shouted to the horses galloping into the jungle.
"Be quiet, you don't know what's going to happen?" Miss Kit made a silencing gesture and motioned for me not to shout.
But I had already shouted out, and now I understood what it meant to be a curse from my mouth.
Patches of cryptoptera flew towards me, and with the sound of rattlesnakes, I knew I was in trouble.
"What now?"
"I don't know! Do you have torches? Ignite! ”
I hurriedly lit the torches, and baked them at them, most of them were defeated, and a small part of them continued to run after me, and Miss Kit reached out and pulled me onto the horse. Because of the light of the torches, a large number of jackals, tigers and leopards were drawn. The python in the tree spits snake hyacinth, waiting for an opportunity to move.
"I'm in trouble!"
"Yes, you're in trouble!"
"What should I do?"
"Shake them off and follow my orders."
"Okay!"
"Pull the branches down with a sword!"
"But there's a poisonous snake up there!"
"Won't you hack them to death?"
"I'll try!"
I stood cautiously on horseback, wielding the longsword in my hand and chopping through the branches above to block the large carnivores behind me.
Vipers and pythons opened their jaws wide open at me, and the hyacinth pressed against my cheek. I reached out to pull a branch down, but I didn't expect to catch a slippery and greasy thing, and when I looked closely, it was a large snake, it was wrapped around my arm, wet on my hand, the raised scales separated my arm, and the snake hyacinth licked my white and tender arm.
"Kit, help!"
Suddenly, a pain spread from the arm.
Miss Kit pulled a dagger from her waist and eliminated the snake with three strikes and five divisions.
"Is there anything wrong with you?"
"I was bitten."
"What, are you going to be poisoned?"
"No, this should be a python, not poisonous."
"That's good.".
"The big guys in the back are blocked, and there are cryptopterans!"
"Leave it to me now!"
