Chapter 15: Enlightenment
There were no cultivators in the world, Ye Qin was the only snake who had embarked on the path of cultivation now, and in the face of this question, he couldn't help but fall into deep thought.
There are currently only two answers:
One is that there are no practitioners in the world.
The second is that cultivators are too secretive to understand in ordinary books, but only in the state?
Ye Qin couldn't say how to distinguish between these two situations, but no matter what, if he figured it out, it would help him with his current cultivation.
"The Tao is the way, not the constant way. The name is famous, and the name is not very famous. The beginning of the nameless world; The mother of all things. ”
"Therefore there is always no desire, in order to see its wonder; There is always desire, in order to observe it. ”
These two have the same name and different names, and they are the same mysteries. Mysterious and mysterious, the door of all wonders. ”
Looking at the "Tao Te Ching" in front of him, Ye Qin was immediately attracted to it, and this sentence on the Tao Te Ching is actually very widespread, and he has heard it in his previous life.
Basically, as long as you are a person from the Great Xia Kingdom, you can memorize two sentences.
But in my previous life, I was completely slipping away from reciting, and I couldn't experience the feeling I have now.
"Is it because of the practice?"
"Tao Te Ching" is written by Lao Tzu, and it can be said that the book has unique views on the formation of the universe and the laws of nature.
Even the concept of 'Dao' was first put forward by Lao Tzu, who believed that heaven is not eternal and not the most fundamental, but the most fundamental is 'Dao'.
The so-called practice of the Tao, cultivation of the Tao, and attainment of the Tao are all based on the Tao as the ultimate goal.
It is such a person who believes in the "Tao" and does not explicitly say "attaining the Tao" in the end.
Because of the limitations of their own conditions, they lack innate spirituality, so they can only stop there. Otherwise, what is said in the book will not be the only one, but there should be a specific way of cultivation.
Through the words on these ancient books, Ye Qin had some speculations as a person who came over.
He guessed from some clues between the lines, and suspected that Lao Tzu was very likely to be about to step into the path of cultivation, and it was even very likely that he had a momentary state of concentration like himself!
That state is too selective, Ye Qin still remembers it vividly, but unfortunately it is not possible to enter at will, it requires great chance.
And after entering this state, you will fall into an extraordinary sense of epiphany, your mind will run extremely fast, and your understanding of all things seems to be innate, all kinds of mysteries.
Ye Qin also entered this state of meditation by chance, so he opened the path of cultivation by chance.
But Ye Qin found that ancient sages like Lao Tzu were trapped in their own limitations, but they were stopped from practicing and could not go further throughout their lives.
That's why he summed up what he thought in his heart and left these words.
Because of the former state of concentration, although it was fleeting, it also gained a lot of inspiration and created many ideological masterpieces.
I hope to inspire future generations, and hope that there will be talented people in future generations to fulfill his long-cherished wish.
Later generations have recorded that Lao Tzu crossed to the west and returned to seclusion, and went to Hangu Pass, Hangu Pass made Yin Xi climb the tower to look far away, and when he saw the purple air coming from the east, he knew that a saint was coming.
Legend has it that before Lao Tzu passed through the Hangu Pass, Yin Xi, who was guarding the pass, saw a ball of purple gas floating from the east, thinking that a saint must come, and hurriedly greeted him, and sure enough, he saw Lao Tzu riding a green ox slowly coming.
Yin Xi entertained Lao Tzu for a few days and asked him to write, but Lao Tzu couldn't refuse, so he left the famous 5,000 words, which the world called "Tao Te Ching".
This is the origin of the Tao Te Ching.
Maybe this is true, but there are also partially exaggerated truths in it.
"It seems that Lao Tzu crossed to the west back then, maybe it was to be able to break through himself and seek a way to practice, maybe he also discovered that human beings lack spirituality like me, so they can't step into cultivation, and in the end they only leave their thoughts to inherit, but there is no way to practice."
Ye Qin didn't know if Lao Tzu had found a solution in the end.
But it is very likely that it was not found, otherwise when it comes to Hangu Pass, what is left should be the specific cultivation method, not the ideological masterpiece of "Tao Te Ching".
It is undeniable that Lao Tzu is a talented person, and he can feel this way just by an instantaneous epiphany, which is enough to show his talent and talent.
However, the congenital conditions are not enough, and they are constrained by the innate shackles, and as a human being, they have no aura after all, otherwise they may really be able to become the first person to practice?
From ancient times to the present 5,000 years, in fact, there may be many sages like Lao Tzu, maybe in ancient times, some people really touched the door of cultivation and saw the dawn, but because they still have the limitations of heaven and earth, they can't find the cultivation method, so they can only leave a few words to enlighten future generations.
Such people can casually name a few, such as Lu Dongbin, Zhuangzi, etc.
Ye Qin was deeply touched and quite a pity, but even if it was a great work of thought, it was enough to inspire him a lot.
If you don't step into the practice, these great works of thought can only enlighten the mind, but when you step into the practice, you will find that these sage thoughts are really advanced and mysterious, and contain great wisdom!
This is not a method of cultivation, but it is a rare summary of the perception between heaven and earth and nature.
He continued to look through the ancient books, and at the same time read a lot of books related to snakes.
"I'm different from these people, they can't break through the limitations of heaven and earth, but I have a snake body and a human soul, and spirituality and wisdom coexist, this is my chance."
In other words, now that Ye Qin has been reborn into this little black snake and has wisdom, looking at the past and the present, it is the only exception and variable.
When a foreign object falls from the sky, there will be a great change.
The human intellect, combined with the innate spirituality of animals, has evolved into an unparalleled gift for epiphany, and he himself is a man who comes back from the dead, and he is born and dies.
With the blessing of various factors, Ye Qin can easily feel all things in nature, so what these people can't feel, he can feel.
Their epiphany may only be for a moment, but Ye Qin's epiphany can be very long.
After all, since ancient times, snakes have been endowed with divinity, and they have a bit of mystery.
The snake totem has a long history, in ancient times, with a huge popular base, many ancient tribes and peoples, all believe in the snake, believing it to be a sacred thing, can bring continuous blessings.
The ancient gods such as Fuxi, Gonggong, Candle Dragon, etc. are all human heads and snake bodies.
Needless to say, Nuwa, who is famous for making up the sky and creating man, is known as the mother of the earth, and is a typical representative.
Of course, the original body was just an ordinary little green snake, but just when he was alive and dead, he crossed over again.
The body that should have died was rejuvenated, and the reason for the snake body and human soul formed a wonderful magnetic field, coupled with the animal spirit, under the collision, an unparalleled talent was produced.
With all kinds of blessings, Ye Qin would find the starting trick so quickly, and even be able to have an unusual epiphany, which could be seen from his cultivation.
Everything can only be said to be a mistake, and in the final analysis, it is a "fate" word.
However, the fate is indescribable and indescribable.
All the cultivation methods were created by Ye Qin's single-handedness, and their cultivation belonged to him, which could be said to have opened up a path that had no ancients before and no one after him.
But that doesn't mean that there is no trace of the predecessors.
If he hadn't seen the "Yellow Emperor Yin Fu Neijing", he would not have thought of using cultivation to resolve the dilemma.
There is a certain number in the dark.
Just like he is now in the library to observe ancient books, peep into the past and explore the present, look for the traces of predecessors, and solve his doubts.
Unconsciously, the night had passed, and when he heard the sound of footsteps outside, Ye Qin suddenly woke up and looked at the sky by the window.
"It's dawn so soon."
For him, it seemed that only ten minutes had passed.
