I've been getting along with people all the time, and I've been struggling with the so-called sense of giving, and whether it's worth it for me to do so much, so I'm at a loss because of what to gain and lose.
After reading a passage today, what you really need to focus on is not people, but what you have to do when you get along with people. It's called being right for things and not for people, not about what you can do for a person, but how much you can do it when you deal with a person.

It's right to do something for the other party, how serious, how careful.
Paying is to spend effort on things, not on people.
