Chapter 11. Serendipitous and inevitable
In the article "Abide by the Heart ~ After Reading", I described my daily habits: today while looking for information for my new paintings, I casually opened a copy of "Reader" (this is my custom for many years, I always refuse to focus on one thing, usually I am like this: before reading a book, I must turn on the computer, let the characters in the game automatically do tasks, and then play my favorite songs in a disorderly loop, during which I may still think about the homework left by the Poetry Association, and in the past, I would turn on the TV, There are many news that are unconsciously remembered in the ears, if you suddenly think of a topic of interest at a certain time, you will go to Baidu to learn about it...... So I can always do multiple things at the same time and all kinds of things don't interfere with each other, I always don't understand the practice of Madame making me turn off the music as soon as she comes back (no matter what she does, she can only do one thing at the same time, even if the mopping side can't play music at the same time), I don't understand, but I can still do it to the point where I automatically and consciously switch to listening to music with headphones as long as I hear the door ringing).
Basically, I rarely do one thing, I always like to do something else at the same time, and the first choice here is to listen to songs and songs (guitar, piano, saxophone, etc.), because I think listening to music is the least disturbing thing to other work.
I used to always play downloaded songs on a loop on the computer, so that I was always surprised that my daughter could almost sing a lot of songs that I only listened to in that era, and after sincerely praising us for the same preferences a few times, maybe she was afraid that I would misunderstand her appreciation level, and she had to declare that it was because I played it every day, and it would be difficult for her to think about it! Then maybe she was in a good mood that day, and she gave me a new song by the way.
Well, I kept up with the times and recently started listening to songs on station B!
The country is easy to change, and I still can't help but choose those familiar old songs at station B.
It's just that the play site has changed.
The soup was changed, but the medicine was not changed, but those songs were still changed.
So that's what the system recommended to me.
Those old songs that make my daughter despise!
I can't remember which day, but the system recommended to me "Listen to the Song of Crying Once", which is a collection of some songs.
There is a tribute song to Rene Liu's movie "Later Us", this version is not sung by professional actors, many people sing it not well, but all the true feelings show one thing: "You have to meet the right person at the right time", some people and things are not there once they are missed.
I've been listening to this song over and over again for days!
The theme of "meeting the right person at the right time" expressed in the song does not only refer to feelings, but also to the people and things we experience in many times.
Although some of them are only a millimeter, the impact on the future is extremely large.
For example, my drawing.
I was introduced to drawing very early.
What I'm talking about very early is naturally the airplane cannon villain, which I started drawing when I was one or two years old, which doesn't count in my mind.
In fact, strictly speaking, when I was young, many people didn't have extra paper for children to doodle, and it was almost extremely rare for people to buy a stick of red and blue lead for their children to draw color pictures just for the sake of looking good, at least I didn't see it when I was young.
So looking at the colorful tractors that I have preserved to this day, there is still a moment when I want to start with this as my own painting.
Judging from the date on the painting, it is a little over three years old.
I chose this because I have time to prove my age at the time of the painting, and I can be sure that many of the paintings are earlier than this.
Even much earlier.
Don't dwell on it anymore.
Let's start with my neighbors.
The third home in my left neighborhood is Cui Da Cui's mother's house, when I was young, I almost regarded it as my own home, Cui Zhenhua is my brother, the first person I know who can paint, and I think the person with the most artistic temperament (this evaluation is now, I didn't have this feeling back then, now his big white beard with a bald head, at first glance, he is a level of artist).
When I was too young, I didn't understand how well he could draw, even though he once painted me a very beautiful painting of "Wu Song Fighting the Tiger", which hung on the wall opposite my desk.
I would like to explain that when I was in junior high school, I had my own desk at home, and the first desk I used was combined with the bookshelf, consisting of two layers that can be detached, the upper layer including the writing place is a flap hidden in the bookshelf, usually when not in use, push it up, turn it down when you use it, and then divide it into three compartments to hold books. In the middle of the lower level are three drawers, and to the left and right are two cabinets with open doors. This desk (including the one that Wu Song beats the tiger) has been moving to Daqing from Helen, I have been using it for many years, and now I am not willing to throw it away, just because there is no place to put it, I pulled it to the bungalow of the compound where the second uncle Anda loaded the sundries. Later, as the size of the room increased, my desk continued to grow, from 2 meters 4 meters of MDF to the current 4 meter long painting table at home!
When I was a child, there was no bed at home at that time, and we lived in a thing called kang made of bricks or mud (the same as the bricks, but not fired, not as strong as the bricks), because neither the billet nor the bricks could directly live in people, so under normal circumstances, things should be laid on it, most of them were paved with something called kang mats, which were woven from bamboo or something, and the current mats were almost the same, but the quality was poor. Those who are a little better off will buy a kind of board (similar to the current MDF, but very thin) and spread it on the kang.
But this kind of board is ugly, usually after getting up and putting the quilt in the cabinet we call kang qin (I don't know if it's this word, it's specially for futoning), this kind of board will be directly exposed. Therefore, you have to ask a master who can draw to paint the board, and after painting, you can paint both sides of the board, and it will become beautiful.
Because my brother can draw, this heavy responsibility falls to him.
He used it for several days, and drew two beautiful peacocks on the kang, because the kang was very wide, and used two boards. I still remember that these two peacocks are drawn in a circle, the middle is divided into two, and there are flowers on the side, which should be peonies in my recall, and the reason why I am still impressed now is that it proves that the old brother painted absolutely realistic, absolutely beautiful.
Another impression is that my brother also drew Jet Li's classic martial arts action in the movie "Shaolin Temple" for my first desk, this action appeared on the poster, appeared on the cover of the villain book I bought, and then I knew that the action was called the black tiger digging out the heart, and later I also knew that the technique that my brother drew was line drawing, and the real image of the painting was real kung fu.
At that time, all the parties involved would never have thought that the fact that my brother painted furniture for us would become another important fork in the road of my life that Liu Qing said.
It's a pity I chose the wrong direction.
In that reflection in the first year of establishment, this incident is one of the things that I seriously reviewed.
The first is to meet the right person at the wrong time.
My brother's paintings and Dong's paintings were no different from me back then, they were both ceiling-like existences. It's a pity that when I met my brother's paintings, I was too young at that time, and I only knew how to play, and I didn't realize the charm of art, and I didn't realize that I would like to paint so much in the future. When I met Brother Dong, it was the time when I had a strong desire for knowledge, which could only be attributed to meeting the right person at the right time.
Second, it's not a good thing to get some opportunities too early!
I once talked to my third brother (the third in the dormitory in college, and I was the fourth) and he talked about this topic very seriously. We talked for a long time and revisited it more than once in subsequent meetings.
It is a deep feeling that proves that we have both experienced this kind of lesson!
The book is back to the main story.
It's because they're close neighbors, and the relationship is extraordinary.
Therefore, I have never seen the scene in film and television works where you eat the delicious food given by the owner, and then leisurely draw, and after painting, count the money and leave with a relaxed and happy face.
If there was such a scene, I believe that I would have studied without hesitation, as I always liked to buy books.
There are even times when my parents are too busy because of the proximity to home, so my brother will go home and eat by himself, and then come back to continue painting after eating.
This kind of picture made me, who could only match the mind of the year, confirm one thing, that is, to learn to draw well is to paint kangs and cabinets for others for free, forgive me for thinking that this is how my IQ back then. So one time my mother asked me if I would like to learn to paint! I can't remember why I was asked this question at the time, but I don't hesitate to say no. And that's my reason, that is, if I learn to draw well, others ask me to paint cabinets and pits, and I have to paint them and delay my time to play.
The point of painting is to delay my time playing.
Definitely the exact words. Definitely my exact words.
Definitely what I said back then.
"Innocence" is on paper! That's it.
This is an episode on my way to learn to draw.
Although it's a pity.
But it can also be said that it is the inevitable process that I will go through when I embark on the road of learning to paint.
For the watercolor "Plateau Love" painted by my brother back then, now I can already see a little bit of the ability to see the kung fu of this painting!
The process I had to go through when I embarked on the road of learning to paint was also inherited from my family!
That's when I inherited my father's talent for painting and my parents' musical roots!
My grandparents have three children, my father is in the middle, and I have two aunts.
At that time, it can be said that the vast majority of families were still in a patriarchal era.
According to my father's recollection, when my siblings were young, my grandfather was often called "unserious" in the village.
It's certainly a derogatory term.
Generally, most of the people who can be called "no business" in the village are people described in literary works as idle, leisurely, and unprofessional, some are good at gambling, some are good at drinking, and some are just simply lazy, such as Wang Manyin in "Ordinary World".
But the reason why my grandfather was said to be "not serious" was that at that time, other people's children as old as my father could already help the family work and earn a share of the work, although it was small, but it was also a sum of money. And the grandfather not only let the father go to school, but even the daughter who is destined to marry in the future is also sent to study.
There was an uproar.
However, the grandparents were unmoved and insisted on sending all three children to study and be admitted to school!
The end result was that my father and two aunts both learned and went to the city, which changed almost the entire life of the three people.
Strictly speaking, it's not just the life of three people, it's the life of three families.
This of course also indirectly includes my whole life.
Last time, my father returned to his hometown in Shandong and came back to tell me that those who said that grandpa had nothing to do back then, not only were they confined to that place, but even their children and grandchildren were facing the loess (and they didn't mean to look down on this kind of life), and many of the partners who earned jobs back then were long gone.
The choice of life is really important, and grandpa chose the right path that Liu Qing said, and most of those who said that grandpa "has nothing to do" made the wrong choice.
But sometimes, as the parties, we really don't know how to choose, and even many times we don't know which time is important.
After graduating, my father and two aunts both chose the profession of teaching, and together with my mother, it can be described as an educational family.
Therefore, my habit of being a good teacher should not only come from the title of secondary school teacher I once obtained.
Let's talk about the family's artistic talent. Grandpa is an eighth-level carpenter, which is the eighth-level carpenter who is equivalent to an intermediate intellectual jokingly called in Zhao Benshan's sketch "Little Nine Old Music". He made things that were extremely delicate and had a rustic aesthetic, and I used to be too young to pay attention to what my grandfather was doing when I was with him. There is a wooden box left by my grandfather, which I asked for from my father, and this is a kind of inheritance.
The box left by his grandfather was made by himself.
After more than 50 years, the solid wood box has not been deformed, but with the passage of time, there are some mottled paint peeling places on the surface of the box, telling the days it has experienced.
In fact, every carpenter is an artist, and when they create furniture, they strive to make the work perfect, and in this respect it is no different from a painter painting a picture.
Grandpa passed on this artistic cell to his three children. And they passed it on to me.
My aunt is painting peonies neatly, and this hand-to-hand freehand pen and ink is very professional, who would have thought that people in their 80s could paint so beautifully.
In comparison, my aunt knows a lot more, sketching, paper-cutting, carbon fine painting and small freehand, the whole is a literary and artistic talent.
My aunt's self-portrait now seems to be of a high level.
Although my father's sketch scored 5 points (when they were studying, their grades were on a 5-point scale, and 5 points was equivalent to 100 points for us again!) But compared with the eldest aunt and the old aunt, there is obviously still a gap. But his strength is calligraphy, so painting is a little worse than the two aunts!
Just pass on that part to me.
Therefore, I think it is precisely because of the above accidents that I walked out of the door after seeing the Gongbi peony in Brother Dong's office that year.
This should definitely be providence!
Definitely!
Providence is the meaning of necessity when it is replaced by written language.
