In the flickering light, Elder Huaqing sat upright like a mountain, and the scriptures of the Diamond Sutra flowed out of his mouth like the clouds of Xiu and the water of the mountain streams......

This scripture is like the deep emotion of the human soul since ancient times, like the lonely murmur of the cosmic spirit's heart.

The same scriptures, read out of the mouth of Elder Huaqing, are so different!

Zhang Shaofei was stunned at first, and then his blood boiled with excitement.

As the sound of chanting continued, his heart gradually stopped again, and a peaceful smile appeared on his face.

The chanting of the Huaqing elders is like flowing clouds, like the harmony between a troubadour and nature.

"Subodhi, the Bodhisattva is in the Dharma, he should have no place to live, and he should practice in generosity. The so-called non-stop color giving, non-stop sound and fragrance touch giving. You need to know that bodhisattvas, bodhisattvas should be like this, and they should not live in ...... other."

In a trance, Zhang Shaofei seemed to see that a golden lotus flower was born from the mouth of the elder's chanting, and the scriptures that came slowly turned into the light of the golden lotus......

The lotus flower gradually expands and fills the whole world. The huge golden lotus faded away, becoming a dreamlike silhouette. The stamens of the flowers gradually protrude with the images of the Buddha Shakyamuni and the Venerable Subodhi.

Buddha: "Su Bodhi, what do you mean?" Can you think about the Eastern Void? ”

Subodhi: "No, World-Honored One. ”

Buddha: "Subodhi, can you think about the four-dimensional upper and lower voids in the south, north, and west?" ”

Subodhi: "No, World-Honored One. ”

Buddha: "Subodhi, the bodhisattva has no dwelling to give blessings, and it is inconceivable. Subodhi, a bodhisattva should live as taught. Su Bodhi, what is the meaning of the clouds, can you see each other as you come? ”

Subodhi: "No, World-Honored One, you can't see it in person. Why, as it comes to say, the physiognomy is not the physiognomy. ”

Buddha: "All appearances are false. If you see things that are not like each other, you will see them as they are. ”

Zhang Shaofei blinked, and the dreamlike scene was gone—all appearances were false. And the voice of Elder Huaqing chanting the "Diamond Sutra" is still flowing slowly:

…… The bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas should give birth to a pure mind in this way, and should not dwell on the color of the mind, should not dwell on the sound, fragrance, taste, touch, and dharma of the mind, and should give birth to their mind without dwelling......

When Zhang Shaofei heard "should have no place to live and give birth to his heart", he seemed to have suddenly been hit by an electric shock, and his whole body trembled violently! All sorts of beauties manifested themselves in his heart—

Sacred Snow Mountain: Snow lotus blooms on the snow-capped mountain;

Seashore at sunset: fine waves kiss the beach;

Vast grasslands: meandering rivers in their natural forms;

Picturesque forest: pine waves......

Elder Huaqing's voice echoed in the heavens and the earth: Everything has a way, like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and it should be viewed as such.

I don't know when, Zhang Shaofei had already knelt down in front of Elder Huaqing. Elder Huaqing caressed the top of Zhang Shaofei's head and asked kindly, "This Diamond Sutra is the Sutra of Zen initiation, which clarifies the principle of emptiness and selflessness in all laws, do you understand?" ”

Zhang Shaofei nodded vigorously, tears welling up in his eyes, and immediately understood that any Buddhism is inseparable from people's own nature.

So, Zhang Shaofei looked at Elder Huaqing and cut his heart straight: "I didn't expect that my nature was originally unstained and pure; It didn't occur to me that my nature was lifeless and deadless; It didn't occur to me that my nature was self-sufficient and fulfilling. neither increase nor decrease; I didn't think that my nature was immovable and unshakable, equal and indifferent; It didn't occur to me that all kinds of Dharma come out of man's own nature......"

"Ah, you really know the nature of the Dharma. There is no benefit in studying the Dharma without recognizing the essential issues. If you know your own essence and realize your true nature, you will be called a great husband, a heavenly teacher, a human teacher, that is, a Buddha. Subsequently, Elder Huaqing taught Zhang Shaofei the secrets of the Dunjiao method and the five sects of the land—Yunmen, Weiyang, Linji, Caodong, and Dharma Eye.

Zhang Shaofei listened, listened, and seemed to be floating all over, wandering to a realm of Buddhism with golden wheels and thousands of paths, red light, and all chaos and foolishness were swept away......

"Three more teachings, people don't know, then spread the teachings", since then it has become a popular story in the Buddhist Zen sect.

After Elder Huaqing taught the secret to Zhang Shaofei, he took off his robe, took out a golden bowl, and handed it to Zhang Shaofei: "You came to Dongchan Temple in order to purify your body and mind, and to verify Bodhi. In the past, Bodhidharma came from Tianzhu at the beginning, and people did not believe him, so they taught the holy relics such as robes and golden bowls as evidence tokens of my Buddha's true transmission. It has been passed on through Hui Ke, Seng Can, Daoxin, and then to my elder, which has lasted for five generations. The method of the Dun religion is to communicate with the heart, and let them know and understand, since ancient times, the Buddhas have taught only the nature, and the secret of each generation of patriarchs is the original mind. Tonight, the teacher will teach you this holy relic. In the future, you will be the youngest master of the sixth generation of our Buddhist Zen forest. ”

Zhang Shaofei took the robe and the golden bowl, and said gratefully: "Thank you, elder." ”
