Maitreya, which translates to Cishi.

Bodhisattva Great Compassion, Maitreya is a symbol of great compassion, and Guanyin represents great compassion.

Great mercy - to be happy with all living beings; Great compassion is to pull out the suffering of all sentient beings.

Great compassion is the Buddha's mind. Maitreya Bodhisattva is known as "Bodhisattva of Compassion" because he has no reason to receive all sentient beings.

This shows that because of greed, the heart of you, a rich man, is poorer than a long-term worker. I'm sure that although you have become the richest man in Hangzhou, you have never felt rich. is still a poor ghost mentality, so even if all the wealth in the world is given to you, you will still not be happy. ”

He nodded and said, "The reason why I used to pick on the door like that, and always try to calculate others, is because I feel that my wealth is still too small, and I am always worried that the wealth I have acquired will be lost and will never return. For this reason, I was so anxious and uneasy that I often woke up in the middle of the night and had difficulty sleeping. ”

The Budai monk said, "It's because you're greedy!" Ordinary people often say that 'contentment is always happy', because you are not satisfied, your heart is always bitter, and there is no joy in life. ”

Liu Junzuo looked at the Budai monk and said, "The reason why I said that I would abandon all my possessions and follow you to Yunyou is because I am afraid of being dragged down by them." When I wanted to renounce the practice, it was indeed a feeling, not a whim. ”

Budai monk said; "You're running away, not being sincere."

Liu Junzuo was a little anxious: "Master Budai, I'm not pretending, I really understand, Ren is rich in the world, and he is also a thing outside the body." Just like you enlightened me in your dreams, life does not bring it, death does not bring it. ”

Budai said, "It's good if you understand." ”

Liu Junzuo looked at the Budai monk and said, "Therefore, I want to let go of these things outside my soul, follow you to learn Buddhism, and go to the deep mountains and old forests to retreat and meditate." ”

Budai monk smiled: "Learning Buddhism is not the same as avoiding the world, let alone meditating. ”

Liu Junzuo was puzzled: "I heard those who study Buddhism say that if you want to participate in Zen, you must stay away from the hustle and bustle, put an end to the outer edge, let go of everything, and meditate with one mind, like a great dead man, before you can enter the truth." ”

After hearing this, the Budai monk really couldn't laugh or cry, and said: "Originally, everyone has a share in the matter of participating in meditation, and everyone can get it, according to what you say, except for some monks, others will not be able to participate in meditation." ”

Liu Junzuo asked, "Why?" ”

The Budai monk said, "If we all meditate behind closed doors, what will people eat?" Besides, ordinary people live at home, open the door for seven things, don't work for a few days, and make a living has become a problem, so how can they participate in Zen? You can't even keep your mouth shut, right? Therefore, when studying Buddhism at home, you can't just copy the same thing in the monastery. ”

After all, Liu Junzuo had some foundations, and asked: "However, how can a person like me work hard to correspond to Zen?" ”

The Budai monk said: "There is nothing mysterious about participating in Zen. As long as you can do things without heart and have nothing to do with your heart, then you will be empty and spiritual, silent and wonderful, which is the realm of Zen. For example, if you are doing business, whenever you encounter large and small affairs, concentrate on them and deal with them at any time; For example, when you are hungry, eat wholeheartedly and don't think nonsense. That is to say, no matter what you do, you must not be distracted, you must concentrate on doing the things at hand well, you must be able to pick it up when you should pick it up, and you can put it down when you put it down later. Over time, nature will be one, and everything will be fine. That's the real stuff of work. ”

Liu Junzuo suddenly realized: "Oh, it turns out that Buddhism practice is so simple!" ”

Budai said: "Zen is the true face of human beings, and it is the truth of life. Therefore, meditation is to eat when you are hungry, and sleep when you are sleepy. When it's hot, you take off your clothes, and when it's cold, you bake it on the fire. Everything is natural and unpretentious. ”

After listening to these words, Liu Junzuo truly understood: Zen, no intentions, focus on the present is what is. The best practice is to refrain from all evil, to practice all good, to have a pure heart, and to do the things at hand seriously.

He said, "To study Buddhism, not everyone has to become a monk and practice, but to follow everyone's karma and give full play to everyone's strengths. Be an official, be a good official; Those who serve the people are content with their duties. For example, you Liu Junzuo was born a business wizard, and you have created a lot of wealth for the society while circulating materials and adjusting surpluses and shortages. This is the perfect place for you. ”

Later, he added: "Of course, the key is how you make money, what kind of money you make, and what you do with it. A businessman who studies Buddhism must have a righteous heart and earn legitimate profits from the right way and by the right means. Also, after making money, you should not just use it for personal enjoyment, but also give alms, make offerings to the Three Jewels, and help the poor and needy. In this way, it is the dual cultivation of blessing and wisdom, and you can enter the path of the bodhisattva more quickly. ”

Liu Junzuo was very excited and said: "It's the same business, greedy and worshipful, cheating, and never recovering; One thought is transformed, compassion and joy are given, and the merit is immeasurable. ”

The unholy and extraordinary are as if they were extraordinary,

It is not strong to distinguish the holy feelings of loneliness.

Priceless heart beads in the garden,

Immeasurably clear and highly praised.

Don't worry about being silent everywhere.
