Chapter Seventy-Five: Death

The beginning of the Dharma era began with Buddhist civilization.

Its true meaning is that the three poisonous hearts of all living beings are blazing, covering the true nature.

The so-called three poisons are greed, hatred, and ignorance.

The so-called truth, the truth is true, and it is not false; As usual, the table has not changed. It is said that it is true to all the Dharma, and it is always like its nature, so it is said to be true.

However, in the process of propagation, the concept of the end of the Dharma era was not only accepted and valued by the immortal civilization, but also distorted and rejected within the Buddhist civilization.

The main embodiment is the two sayings of "Buddha's enemy" and "Buddha's sin".

Buddhist civilization believes that before the end of the Dharma era, there will be a catastrophe.

The people who set off this catastrophe are the enemies of the Buddhas, the enemies of the Buddhas, and the enemies of the Dharma.

In the midst of this catastrophe, there are also the sins of the Buddhas, the sins of the Buddhas, and the sins of the Dharma.

The enemy of the Buddha is invincible, and the Buddha is invincible.

The "Five Sutras" held by Iris are said to be the scriptures written by the future Buddha before he was reincarnated.

"Heh......"

With a sneer on her lips, Iris waved her hand slightly.

The yellowed scrolls of the "Five Classics" immediately turned into flying ashes, fluttering and sprinkling, and disappeared between heaven and earth.

"Nonsense."

Iris was very dismissive of the idea that the abbot of Ciren Temple identified her as a Buddha.

She doesn't think she's some bullshit.

Raising the yellowing scroll, Iris returned to her indifferent state and continued to stare down the mountain.

The burning of the abbot of Ciren Temple with the fire of sinful karma gave a little vent to some of the resentment that had accumulated in his heart, but it was not enough.

A greater catharsis is needed.

It just so happened that Ciren Temple had just received a report about the Lotus Society, and the abbot died among the abbots, which could have caused the upcoming turmoil to the maximum.

What the Lotus Society is about to face is not just a Ciren Temple, but the encirclement and suppression of a coalition of more than a dozen or twenty Buddhist temples and monks who are accustomed to it.

A complicated look flashed in Iris's eyes.

Once a lot of things have started, it's hard to slow down.

When she had the same thoughts in her heart as she did after the ninth test of the special ruin world was disturbed, she decided to plant a white lotus and purify the filthy world, and everything became a wild horse.

It's not that Iris can't control herself, it's that she can't control the will of all beings, she can only guide.

Now, Iris is guiding sixteen girls on a path of self-forgetfulness, twenty-three women on a path of cleansing or re-impregnation of themselves, and guiding the oppressed and exploited people of the lower class on a path of rebirth.

Getting carried away is a disservice in itself.

Washing or re-dipping is a kind of cover-up in itself.

Reborn from the fire, first bathed in the fire, and was not burned to death, before it could be reborn.

All of the above are sacrifices, and the sacrifices that must be paid to achieve a "great cause".

However, how many people can bathe in the fire without being burned to death, and how many people can be reborn?

Iris knew, there weren't many people.

Nine times out of ten, those who join in the early stage will die without a place to bury and will not be remembered.

As for the so-called "vacuum hometown", it is not their hometown, let alone a pure land, but a piece of vanity.

These sacrifices are deprived of the peace, happiness, milk and honey they crave when they enter the vacuum.

All they can get is the cruel reality of continuing to give.

The White Lotus is pure, and what is meant is never for them, but only for the White Lotus itself.

Call......

With a long exhale, Iris pressed down on the distractions in her mind and stopped thinking about them.

As long as you don't want to, you won't feel guilty.

If you don't feel guilty, you won't suffer.

Apathy, or numbness, is also a good state.

When there were signs of strife at the foot of Liangshan Mountain, Link came to Guanglin Mansion.

The loess mat road, and lanterns and gauze were hung on the dead trees on the side of the street.

There are no pedestrians to be seen on the road, and the nearby rural houses are silent, only chickens and dogs smell each other.

Smoke rises and the smell of food wafts through.

"What a Pure Land of Buddhism!"

People who don't know the truth of the matter will definitely feel like this.

However, Link knew that the real situation was never like this, so instead of feeling so emotional, he felt disgusted.

Serfs are serfs, oppression is oppression, and these false things are used to whitewash the peace.

Disgusting!

"Senior brother, what's wrong with you?"

Monk Lichen asked a question while looking at the peaceful and quiet countryside weather with interest.

Just now, Monk Lichen obviously felt a different emotion from Link.

It seems that the junior brother has a completely different view of the surrounding scenery.

"It's nothing, let's keep going."

Link casually perfunctory, reluctant to talk about it again.

"Hmm."

The dust monk glanced at Link suspiciously, then shook his head, and went to admire the peaceful and peaceful Buddha land on earth.

"Put it down! Put it down! ”

Suddenly, a shrill scream came from a courtyard not far ahead, "Put down the bun!" ”

There was a muffled thud.

Monk Lichen, who had practiced the way of a warrior monk since childhood, moved his ears slightly, and immediately recognized that it was the sound of a stick the thickness of a baby's arm hitting a person's buttocks.

"Wow! Yes!!!!! ”

A terrible but breathless cry followed.

"I told you to take it! I told you to take it! I told you to take it! ”

Sharp screams mixed with crying came out of the yard one after another, and spread to the clean path swept by the loess paving and water sprinkled with water.

Along with it came a thud, thump, thump, thump, thump thump, and a poignant but lacking cries.

It didn't take long for the shrill screaming and scolding to stop, as did the dull beating, and the poignant but lacking breath cry continued for a while, and gradually subsided.

The monk who had cultivated to the heavens heard a very aggrieved mutter, "Mother, I'm hungry!" ”。

The dust monk is like a thunderbolt.

Since he was sent to the White Horse Monastery at the age of three, this is the first time that the monk has come down the mountain.

The road leading from the White Horse Monastery to the city of Guanglin has always been a smooth road, and there are no villages and no dwellings on both sides of the road.

Some just build a post house every other section of the road for the monks of each Buddhist temple to rest, rest, and eat hot soup and rice.

The people on duty in the post house are all domestic slaves from the palace of Guanglin County.

In short, the dust monk has never walked on the red dust and has never understood the world.

He has always believed that the red dust is not bitter, and the world is a Buddha land.

Behold......

Taking a deep breath, Monk Lichen slowly closed his eyes and opened them again.

As soon as I closed and opened, the Sky Eye Pass was already opened.

The eyes of the dust monk pierced through the space, through the courtyard wall, and saw everything in the small courtyard clearly.

In the kitchen, a wrinkled, gray-haired woman leaned against the wall, carrying a stick of firewood in her hand, sobbing silently.

Next to the stove, a scrawny child grabbed a steamed bun with his black right hand, clutching it hard, unwilling to let go.

In the steaming pot, only the last steamed bun remained.

In the house not far from the kitchen, there were two people, one large and one small, lying on the bed, covered with a quilt made of straw, their faces pale and weak, with a lot of air and little air intake.

Under the eyes of the sky, the dust monk immediately distinguished that these two people were hungry like this.

Smoke curling, fragrant rice, quiet and peaceful, Buddha land in the world?

Monk Lichen felt that his eyes were a little tingling, so he quickly closed them and closed the Tianyantong.

This world is too bitter, and the monk is full of compassion and pity, and he can't bear to look at it anymore.

Well, I can't bear to look at it anymore.

Link took in it all, didn't say anything, just hurried away in silence.

Monk Lichen quickly reopened his eyes, his face returned to calm in an instant, and there was not the slightest emotion in his eyes.

He also entered a state of silence and hurried, no longer looking around, no longer looking at the quiet and peaceful Buddha land on earth.

However, the representative monks of the other courtyards behind him have always maintained the previous interest of Monk Chen.

He even exclaimed out that Buddhism is immeasurable, and the greatness of the world to get rid of the sea of suffering and ascend to the other shore.

In this strange atmosphere, the group of White Horse Zen Monastery finally entered the city of Guanglin Mansion and went straight to the palace of Guanglin County.

The palace of Guanglin County, which covers an extremely wide area, is completely new inside and outside, the lights are colorful, and the faces of each servant are filled with sincere joy, and they offer extremely warm hospitality and great pious respect to the representatives of the White Horse Zen Monastery who came to visit.

Among them, there was a figure of a servant, which made Monk Chen feel a little familiar and a little strange.

Link didn't even look at the servant, but there was a slight ripple in his eyes.

"Hell!"

"You have taken possession of the body of the heart monk, don't come out and sway it so much!"

Muttering in his heart, Link looked at his nose and his nose, and calmly walked into the mansion arranged by the Guanglin County Royal Mansion for the monks of the White Horse Monastery to live.

The room is sufficient, one person per room, quite quiet.

However, no sooner had Link sat down at his desk than there was a knock on the door.

"Come in, brother."

Without his telepathy, just by listening to the footsteps, Link knew that it was Monk Chenchen standing outside the door.

Squeak.

The door opened, and Monk Lichen walked in, and instead of sitting, he just stood at the desk and looked at Link.

"Senior brother, is there something?"

Link picked up a piece of white paper on his desk, set out the inkstone, dripped some water, and then picked up the ink strip and carefully studied the ink.

"Hmm."

Monk Lichen nodded, "There are some things I can't figure out, I want to ask what my junior brother thinks." ”

"What's the matter, senior brother, but it's okay to talk about it."

Link studied the ink carefully, didn't look up, and said casually

Monk Lichen asked in a deep voice: "Cultivation and worship, what does the junior brother think?" ”

At this time, the ink was studied, and Link chose a wolf pen, dipped it in ink, and wrote down a word, "repair".

Then he said: "Senior brother, junior brother has a shallow view, the so-called cultivation is to cultivate oneself; The so-called worship is to worship others. ”

"Senior brother is stupid, please tell me in detail."

Monk Lichen folded his hands, bowed to Lin Ke, and asked for advice in a very solemn manner.

At this time, Link picked up the pen and wrote down the word "worship".

Putting down the wolf's pen, Link got up, faced the dust monk, pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, and said loudly: "If I am a Buddha, senior brother worships me, may I become a Buddha?" ”

Monk Lichen thought about it carefully and shook his head slightly: "No." ”

Link put down his hands, first put them together, and then sat on the ground again, meditated and fixed the seal, and said loudly: "I am a monk, diligently practicing the Dharma, diligently cultivating merits, and may I become a Buddha?" ”

Monk Lichen thought about it carefully again, and nodded slightly: "Yes." ”

After a pause, Monk Lichen accentuated his tone: "But the hope is quite slim. The Dharma is as profound as a lifeless master, and he has only attained the bodhisattva status, but he has not been able to become a Buddha, so he has been reincarnated and re-cultivated. ”

Link grinned: "Senior brother, how do you know that Master Wusheng can't become a Buddha before he is reincarnated and re-cultivated?" ”

Monk Lichen was stunned when he heard this.

Yes, how did he know that Master Wusheng was reincarnated and re-cultivated because he could not become a Buddha?

In other words, how did he know about it, and who told him it?

The more he thought about it, the darker Monk Chen's eyes became.

It is the White Horse Zen Temple.

It is the scriptures and records of the White Horse Zen Temple.

It is the word of mouth of Hakuba Zen Temple.

Call...... Call......

Taking a few deep breaths, Monk Lichen tried his best to adjust his situation, but he still couldn't calm down.

"There is no Amitabha Buddha in the south! There is no Amitabha Buddha in the south! ”

Monk Lichen folded his hands and recited the Buddha's name, hoping to help him regain his calm.

But in vain.

His heart couldn't calm down for a long time.

The reason is simple.

First of all, he was affected by the impact of the Buddha land and the suffering of the world, and then the things and objects that he firmly believed in were shaken by Link, so he had doubts about everything he had learned since he was a child.

This kind of ideological self-doubt comes very quickly, and it is extremely difficult and slow to get out.

Seeing this, Link didn't let Monk Chen's self-doubt continue, and said calmly: "Senior brother, don't think too much. Senior brother, I was only interested in the deeds of Master Wusheng, and I didn't find any exact record to prove that Master Wusheng was not reincarnated and re-cultivated because he could not attain the Buddha's attainment, but just mentioned it casually. ”

However, Monk Lichen didn't listen to this sentence, but his mood calmed down inexplicably.

This is very surprising.

However, the first thing Monk Lichen did after calming down was to start a new topic and ask: "Senior brother, when I passed by that village before, junior brother didn't seem to be surprised by the real situation of that village?" ”

Link Ke still sat on the ground, looked up at Monk Chen, and asked with a smile on the corner of his mouth: "Senior brother, do you know that Ma Chan Yuan can always take the avenue to enter Guanglin Mansion, why did he turn into that country road when he was in the last post house?" And who made this arrangement? ”

"I don't know."

Monk Lichen shook his head and replied frankly.

Link laughed, "I don't know, but I guess it's the county lord's handiwork." ”

"County Lord?"

Monk Lichen was shocked, and then suddenly realized, "I see." I've always heard that the county lord loves chivalry and righteousness, and he is uneven, so I think it is really possible that the county lord is using this to test us and make a screening for the recruitment of sons-in-law. ”

"Senior brother said yes, then yes."

A hint of laughter flashed in Link's eyes, and he responded casually, then stood up, "Senior brother, senior brother, I'm a little tired and want to rest." ”

"Senior brother have a good rest, senior brother will leave."

The dust monk heard the sound of the strings and knew the meaning of elegance, and immediately said goodbye and turned around neatly.

Just as he walked to the door, Link shouted again: "Senior brother, senior brother has a question to ask, I wonder if senior brother is willing to answer junior brother frankly?" ”

"Senior brother, but it doesn't hurt to ask."

Monk Lichen faced Link and responded seriously.

Link was not hypocritical, and asked directly: "Senior brother, if there is a chance to die, does the senior brother yearn to be born in the farmhouse that the senior brother sees today, or to be born in the White Horse Monastery, to be a monk who does not produce and enjoys the worship of all the people?" ”

After a pause, Link accentuated his tone: "Senior brother is not in a hurry to answer me this question. ”

"Answer yourself." (End of chapter)
