Chapter 173: Raid on the Temple

In the face of the menacing greenskins, the Whisperers immediately activated the planet's defenses and threw all their troops into the battle against the invaders.

Powerful air defense forces formed a dense network of firepower, guns roared like thunder, and countless high-explosive munitions were fired into the sky, blocking the vast number of orc drop pods falling from the sky.

A significant number of combat meteorites were destroyed during the landing, bursting in the air like fireworks.

The burning debris turned into a rain of fire that streaked across the sky, eventually crashing into the buildings below, causing violent explosions one after another.

This is already an ideal situation.

However, there were more combat meteorites intact, and they were successfully dropped onto the ground through layers of blows.

Hundreds of huge pits were smashed out, and the destruction caused was like nails piercing through the skin, and blood was dripping from them, and the world of the Bearer was suddenly in flames.

Then, the wound became infected.

Millions of orcs burst out of the battle meteorite, armed with a variety of rudimentary, crude, but extremely ferocious weapons, and pounced directly on the nearest dark temple.

Even believers in the Chaos Gods could not escape the catastrophe they bringed.

As with other civilizations, the twisted evil will be torn apart and destroyed, and the garbage will be transformed into simple but energetic cruelty by the greenskins.

"Knock down those bad cans, for the sake of Brother Mao, for the sake of smart boys, waaagh !!"

The green-skinned warlord Goldbeard used his loud voice to inspire his subordinates, and the army rushed to the high temple gates like a tide against the current.

They were attacking the second temple of Kalmek, which was huge and imposing, with a thousand steps in front of the door.

The original designers of the temple believed that this grand layout would allow visitors to be in awe of the dark gods enshrined inside, and dragging their weary bodies to the audience would be more devotion to the belief in Chaos, and the defensive aspect would be a secondary consideration.

However, the steps apparently caused a great deal of distress to the Greenskins, as the battle meteorite landed at the bottom of the temple.

As they approached the temple, they could not find cover to hide, and the speed of their charge was greatly affected.

What's more, their armored vehicles are not easy to follow.

A few teams of Hurricane Boys drove their beloved chariots and tried to get the first chance of rushing to the top, as they often do.

However, this journey does not have the thrill of sparks and lightning all the way in the past, and there are just crazy bumps up and down.

The armored car struggled to climb those steps, the throttle had been stepped on, and the overloaded engine was like a respiratory system, constantly emitting a sharp wheezing sound.

The Hurricane Boys in the car felt their butts smashed into a pile of mud and their skulls dizzy, and the Speakers saw them as their primary targets, constantly projecting dangerous spells at them.

All of these circumstances caused them to become extremely irritable and start to mess around with the steering wheel, and various dangerous buttons were accidentally triggered in the process.

Orc equipment is always difficult to associate with the word "security".

In the end, halfway through, the Racing Team overturned, the frame fell apart, the runaway vehicles exploded one after another, and the rolling wreckage also killed many teammates behind.

Of course, this is normal for the Greenskins, who have a fair share of their own casualties in each battle.

After a brief commotion, the orc army continued to charge towards the temple.

The Whisperer Wizard stands at the top of the steps, trying to defend his sanctuary from the green wave.

"Barbarian creatures who are not even qualified to be blessed, your meaningless existence is in itself a grave blasphemy against the dark gods!"

For the Whisperers, the Greenskins are arguably the most annoying force to them, even more so than the Atheists.

This is not only because the greenskins can fight, be unreasonable, and inexhaustible, but also because as intelligent creatures with emotions and souls, the greenskins cannot be corrupted, not even the lowest snot essence.

The perfect theory has the only loophole.

The existence of the greenskin seems to be a reminder to the Whisperers that the dark gods they worship are not as omnipotent as they boast, at least those guys can't help the great second brother.

What an abomination, the mortal enemy of science and theology.

The Bearers chanted incantations in their mouths, smashing their sorcery into the oncoming army of greenskins.

The black shock wave condensed by the energy of the subspace roared by, and the hundred and ten charging boys were instantly knocked to the ground.

Although the orcs are also raising their guns to fight back, their accuracy has always been a problem, and they have no way to effectively suppress the enemy.

"Damn steps!"

After another empty shot, Goldbeard scolded.

It hates this obstacle, known as "distance", which prevents Goldbeard from effectively crushing enemies, who can often attack it at will.

"Tell the Storm Boy to go up and cut them to death!" Goldbeard could only turn to command.

"Okay, boss!" The fart next to him replied.

Orders from the warlords were quickly conveyed, and hundreds of rocket-laden orcs soon appeared above the battlefield.

The simple and rough way of flying allows the Storm Kids to move quickly through the air, and they waaagh with a happy laugh! To the temple, the spear in his hand spewed flames, like death falling from the sky.

The wizards hurriedly erected a barrier using evil spells to block the Storm Boys' attacks, and backhanded psionic energy in an attempt to rip them out of the sky.

But the Storm Kids are agile and able to toss, and the rocket backpacks behind them sometimes can't even hold on to themselves, and the Bearer certainly can't judge their movements.

The enemy was entangled.

The Greenskins take the opportunity to rush to the top of the stairs to engage them in a bloody battle.

"Come on, bad can!"

Goldbeard is in the lead, and he is about to slash the enemy in front of him.

The Speakers of Knowing the Times don't intend to fight the Greenskins.

Seeing that the situation was not good, they retreated directly into the temple and closed the door of the temple tightly.

Goldbeard's massive body eventually slammed into the door, causing only a dull sound.

"Coward, come out and face me!"

Seeing the imminent prey flee, Goldbeard was furious and slammed on the door with his iron claws.

The other orcs around him also picked up the guy and smashed it against the wall in front of him.

But that didn't work, and the defensive runes on the gate shimmered with a powerful glow.

Several boys picked up the turbulent guns in their hands and fired wildly, but the bullets were bounced open by the gate, and many teammates around them were injured.

The Greenskins will need to muster more firepower if they want to break in.
