2023/12/31 Doing it and doing it are two different things

A lot of people can't succeed because they're too smart.

Successful people are often very smart, but smart people are not necessarily successful.

Because, smart people like to find shortcuts everywhere, do things superficially, learn only a little scratch, are not willing to work stupidly, and are not willing to pay ten times or a hundred times more effort than ordinary people. Successful people are not necessarily the smartest, but they must be down-to-earth and reliable, they are willing to work hard in their field for ten years, or do not do it, and do it to the extreme.

They are just like Zeng Guofan, they are stubborn, stupid, defeated repeatedly, twice if they don't work once, and three times if they don't work twice, and they have achieved the glory of their careers with the most stupid methods. Many things, doing and doing it are two different things, and the results are very different!

In human society, ingenuity is undoubtedly a valuable resource, but many people find that intelligence does not lead to success. There are deep-seated reasons behind this phenomenon. Smart people tend to look for shortcuts, hoping to get the most out of what they put in. They are often superficial, content with superficial understanding, and unwilling to delve into the essence of things. Such an attitude makes it difficult for them to make breakthroughs in a certain field.

Successful people are often not the smartest, but they are certainly the most down-to-earth. They have a deep understanding and love for their field, and are willing to work hard in it for ten years. They know that there is no shortcut to success, and it is only through unremitting hard work and persistence that it is possible to reach the top. Like Zeng Guofan, they used the stupidest method to accumulate bit by bit, and finally achieved the glory of their careers.

Ingenuity is not the most important factor in this process. On the contrary, it is the down-to-earth and reliable attitude, the spirit of being willing to pay ten times or a hundred times more effort than ordinary people, that is the key to success. Many things, doing and doing it are two different things, and the results can be very different. Smart people tend to only stay at the level of "doing", while successful people pursue "doing it", they know that only by going deep, focused, and persistent, can they achieve real success.

Therefore, being smart does not equal success. Being smart can provide us with more opportunities and possibilities, but success requires a down-to-earth, reliable attitude and perseverance. In this sense, success is a kind of wisdom, a deep understanding and practice of life and career. It is only when we recognize this that it is possible to truly move towards success.

In human society, ingenuity is seen as a valuable resource, however, many smart people fail to succeed. The main reason for this is that they are too shortcut-oriented, and they tend to do things superficially, and they are unwilling to delve into the essence of things. In contrast, successful people are not necessarily the smartest, but they must be down-to-earth and reliable. They know that there is no shortcut to success, and it is only through long-term hard work and perseverance that it is possible to reach the top. Like Zeng Guofan, they used the simplest method to accumulate bit by bit, and finally achieved the glory of their careers.

Smart people tend to be content with superficial achievements, while successful people strive for excellence. They understand that it's not enough to just do it, they have to do it in order to be truly successful. In this sense, success is not only a kind of wisdom, but also a deep understanding and practice of life and career.

Smart people tend to be overconfident, they think they already know the answer, and they are reluctant to listen to others. Successful people, on the other hand, know that their knowledge and experience are limited, and they are willing to learn from others and constantly improve themselves. This humility allows them to work better with others, gain access to more opportunities and resources, and thus move closer to success. Therefore, being smart does not equal success, being smart can provide us with more opportunities and possibilities, but success requires a down-to-earth, humble attitude and perseverance. Only when we are both smart and down-to-earth and humble can we achieve true success on the road of life.
