Chapter 342: YM-12

At the B-level base, the original parking area was covered by a new factory building with a brand new paint surface that had just been air-dried, and giant devices were transported to lift and install.

The technicians of the Fourth Academy and the 601 Institute watched in amazement as a super giant beast began to assemble, and the whole person was in a state of extreme shock.

The workshop is assembling a hydraulic die forging machine YM-12 with a dead weight of 30,000 tons and a pressure of 120,000 tons.

120,000 tons of hydraulic die forging machine!

Before it, the world's first was the 80,000-ton hydraulic die forging machine made in China, and before the 75,000-ton die forging machine manufactured by the former alliance 47 years ago, only Aramco, Fur, Lucia and China had the manufacturing capacity of more than tens of thousands of tons of die forging machines in the world.

The YM-12 directly broke the previous record, making the pressure of the human hydraulic die forging machine exceed 100,000 tons for the first time.

The YM-12 has a height of nearly 40 meters above ground and more than 18 meters underground, and more than 60 individual parts of more than 100 tons, directly creating a new historical record.

YM-12…… When was YM-12 initiated? In October last year.

Since Seryov took over the engine and overall design of the Tengyun project, the biggest problem was the weight control of the airframe.

How can an aerospace aircraft with a take-off mass of 200 tons and be able to travel back and forth between heaven and earth and be reused more than 100 times to control the empty weight below 35 tons?

The material alone is barely sufficient, but it is an unprecedented challenge for the processing process, requiring that the body made from difficult-to-machine materials must be integrated as much as possible to reduce mass while maintaining strength.

There are two ways to process such a difficult machine: 3D printing or integral die forging.

3D printing is not enough with the current technology, and the material requirements are more troublesome, so the appropriate solution is to use ultra-high pressure die forging machine processing, which is fast and can ensure strength.

The domestic 80,000-ton hydraulic die forging machine is barely enough, but it has too many tasks, since it was put into production in 2013, it has received countless tasks, and the plans are scheduled for two years, and there is no way to squeeze out time for Tengyun service, even if you cut the queue, you have to wait for another year.

Seryov couldn't wait, so he tried to use the research institute to get the most ideal die forging machine of more than 100,000 tons, but he didn't expect to get the design work done almost nothing, so he immediately began to arrange parts for the workshop and suppliers to produce.

In order to ensure efficiency, two An-1250 air parts are transported directly from the manufacturer, and the terrifying load capacity basically solves the transportation problem of all parts, which is well solved when it arrives at the base.

Also involved in the design of the Tengyun project are the elite designers of the Space Agency and the 601 Institute, who have been designing the airframe part at their own site according to Serov's requirements, which was originally thought to be a long-term project for at least four or five years.

As a result, last month, the TP-25 "Lushan" engine was successfully tested at the desert base, which perfectly met the technical requirements, which directly startled them, and they couldn't believe that the engine with this way of working "patchwork" could really run stably.

As the eldest son of the republic's industry, the 601 Institute is actually still very arrogant, the original world line they lost the competition of the fifth-generation aircraft after the "97 plan" was changed, and it took 9 months to create the second fifth-generation fighter FC31 "Falcon", which is just one of their production complexes with their own strength to do!

Therefore, I was very unconvinced to learn that I was going to give Seryov a hand in the Tengyun project, but at the moment I saw the TP-25, all doubts disappeared, and only miraculous admiration remained.

Later, Seryov said that part of the trial production of the body could be carried out, saying that the base already had a solution, and they thought it would be a strange innovation route, but they did not expect it to be a miracle.

The 120,000-ton hydraulic die forging machine is more than enough to process Tengyun's high-strength body, and of course, by the way, it is not a problem to process large marine spindles, ultra-high-strength spacecraft parts, etc.

It's just that it only took more than five months to build this thing?!

"Mr. Xie, this, this is really ......"

The researchers of the 601 Institute pointed to the YM-12 speechless super die forging machine, which was simply terrifying.

Seryov: "It's not my credit either, I designed the aircraft, and the YM-12 is a project of the Medium Machinery Department, and many of our domestic manufacturers are also involved in the manufacture, and they are basically involved in the previous 80,000-ton die forging machine. ”

"But, but ......"

Seryov: "Okay, okay, have you completed the optimized design of the spar that I requested?" It's the main area for high temperatures and pressures, and it doesn't matter if you add a little weight, you have to be safe, and this is a passenger aircraft. ”

……

Florida.

"A 54-year-old white man raped a crocodile? God, Bezos, is it because the environment here is so unreliable that your HLS is so unreliable? ”

Jim Freery and NACA's support team went to Blue Origin to check the technical status of the Blue Moon lander and investigate the cause of engine failure during the previous test.

During the break, Jim watched the recent local news and complained to Jeff Bezos, his younger brother, Mark Bezos, who was still under the care of a private doctor.

Mark Bezos is slightly embarrassed, because the "Blue Moon" lander really can't be described as perfect at the moment.

The Blue Moon was originally scheduled to be completed in November, but now that NACA is trying to bring it forward by at least three months, it turns out that there are quite a few problems when it comes to inspection.

First of all, the overall design, the Blue Moon weighs 45 tons of fuel, apparently Aramco does not have any rockets that can launch a fully fueled Blue Moon, so the original plan was to launch an empty lander and then launch a space shuttle to fuel it.

Obviously, this plan doesn't work, it was blown when the pie was drawn, at least it's definitely too late now.

The Heavy Falcon is not reused at all, and it can send up to 22 tons of mass, that is, it can allow the "Blue Moon" to carry 8 tons of fuel, which is obviously not enough.

The original plan was to fuel the new Glenn rocket developed by the Blue Origin program or another heavy Falcon to complete, and there is no need for the space shuttle, just refuel in orbit, even if it is not enough, it is enough, and it is a big deal to reduce some load.

Now the "New Glenn" has only entered the specific design stage because of the successful test run of the BE-4, and it is definitely no fun, the heavy Falcon...... That would mean that the SpecaX's Falcon 9 would have been used up to make a booster for the Heavy Falcon, and the old horse would have been happy to do so, but he would have to pay more.

There is no other way, the SLS rocket can also be done, but apparently the manufacturing capacity is limited and cannot be done.

NACA has now reached an internal agreement to inform SpecaX to build a heavy falcon and fuel tank, anyway, the current NACA is fully funded, and what can be solved with money is not a problem, at least the CBC configuration of the heavy falcon can be produced much faster, and the Falcon 9 in active service can be directly transferred.

At the same time, Claire is secretly contacting the four crew members of Project Artemis.
