In the depths of Zhong Yuemin's memory, the events of that winter of 1968 are particularly clear, and he was almost involved in a murder case that winter, and he still has lingering palpitations when he thinks about it.

1968 was a noisy year, the background in Zhong Yuemin's memory was red, when the streets and alleys of Beijing were covered with red paint, which were full of Mao** quotations, and what caught my eye was the red flag, the red quotation book, and the red armband...... In short, red became the dominant color at that time, and even everyone's heart was full of red hope.

Zhong Yuemin still hasn't figured out why, one day in 1968, he and his companions, including the children in the Beijing government compound and the army compound, suddenly seemed to have been hit by evil, adrenaline surged, a mixture of youthful passion and evil exploded in the body like a bomb, in a red background, suddenly produced a ferocious red shock wave, with violent force to spread around. Amazingly, this red shockwave actually affected their lives......

Many years later, Zhong Yuemin discovered that 1968 was an eventful year, a year when many major events happened in the world, the earth was like a balloon full of hydrogen, dangerously inflated and restless, and a small spark could cause an explosion......

In the spring of that year, the big brother of the Soviet Union was finally annoyed by his little brother, Czechoslovakia, who thought that the little brother should go to the house and expose the tiles if he left no longer disciplined. As a result, a large number of Soviet airborne troops and armored units, under the guidance of Brezhnev's theory of "limited sovereignty," drove straight into Czechoslovakia and occupied Czechoslovakia. The whole world was shocked, and public opinion was in an uproar.

In March, the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., the black American leader who always nagged "I have a dream," shocked the whole world, caused an uproar in international public opinion, and almost caused a commotion in the United States. Martin Luther King Jr. went down in history as a celebrity, and his humane speeches and rich, magnetic baritone voice became his swan songs.

In May of that year, romantic young French people also started an uproar, which turned out to be a conversation between François Misofo, the Minister of Youth and Sports. The minister went to the Université de Gnunterre in Paris to cut the ribbon for a newly built swimming pool, and it happened that Danny Cohen-Bundy, a German student in the sociology department of the university, was also a troublemaker like Zhong Yuemin, and asked him why there was no mention of the students' sexual problems in his speeches and articles. Mr. Minister's answer was very unpleasant, in our Chinese parlance, it is called standing and talking without back pain. He suggested that Cohen Bundy could jump into the water to defeat the fire when he was horny. The minister's suggestion was a hornet's nest, and the students made trouble.

In May of that year, the students of Paris finally rose up in revolution, attacking those in power and demanding the destruction of the "old order". The Latin Quarter of Paris became a forum for ancient Greece, where everyone protested, and the protests ranged from university rules and class differences to the Vietnam War.

On May 3, the police cleaned up the University of Paris, causing an even more violent reaction in the Latin Quarter.

Many places were spontaneously taken over by the masses, the workers occupied the factories, the radical doctors occupied the medical associations, the actors closed the theaters, and even some of the clergy declared them "revolutionary". The loyal police filled the Latin Quarter with the smell of ***, and President de Gaulle finally couldn't take it anymore, and he slipped out the back door of the Élysée Palace and went to his hometown of Colombe. The news made the students a little dizzy, believing that the "revolution" was about to succeed.

The May storm in Paris shocked the world, and the entire Western world was almost excited. For the French, they are almost all old revolutionaries, and their revolutionary tradition dates back at least to 1789, when the citizens of Paris stormed the Bastille and destroyed a great dynasty, and they were the pioneers of the revolution.

At this time, the college students in Paris were following the path walked by the Chinese Red Guards, building barricades in full swing, holding high the portrait of Mao ** and the banner of the Paris Commune and rushing to kill on the streets, ambitious to "sweep away all the ghosts, snakes and gods" on the European continent again, even the clergy who ate God's food also rebelled, and the great philosopher Mr. Sartre also followed the nonsense, the world is really chaotic.

However, there is always an end to everything in the world.

On 30 May, President Charles de Gaulle returned to Paris and gave a radio address in which he called on the people to love their country. Mr. President simply told the people that if this continued trouble, everyone should be mentally prepared for the material scarcity that is coming. This big truth is more effective than any unfathomable and profound theory, if the revolution lasts for a long time and there is no food to eat, then the revolution will be meaningless, not to mention that the majority of the people are tired of the hustle and bustle of the streets. So they answered the call of the President and brought home a group of children who continued to mess around in the barricades, and the May storm in Paris came to an end.

As an adult, Zhong Yuemin understands, no wonder he was like an evil man back then, and he didn't dare to love anyone, and the students in Paris are not fuel-efficient lamps, and they really love whoever they love. Knowing this, the brothers who were "linked" back then should have sent liaison officers to connect with their buddies in Paris, and as soon as the East and West joined forces, the world revolution would have succeeded. However, the slogans shouted by students in Beijing and those in Paris at the same time were very different. The slogans on Beijing's side are a little more violent, either planning to fry anyone or smash someone's dog's head, but there is a romantic atmosphere on the other side:

Not for bread, but for roses......

To **, not to fight......

Listen, it's fucking fun to piggyback on the revolution while playing.

However, in 1968, Zhong Yuemin did not know anything about what was happening in France, he just found a new way of life and lived happily. When the students in Paris had had enough of playing in the barricades and went home, Zhong Yuemin and his gang had just appeared.
