Because the sixth order "degree" is just a "certificate of entry" that allows you to practice mantras, if you want to go further, you need to give many empowerments, almsgiving, and study, the first is that you need to worship your own guru Buddha-figure, and the second is that you need a lot of worldly money to support your study.

That's the real introduction, the Four Great Treatises, the Bodhisattva scriptures, and even Sanskrit, the Secret Texts, a lot of special texts, sadhana knowledge, and secret mantras. Most of these knowledge are collected in the temple, most of the individuals are unable to collect so much knowledge, there is a scripture building in the endless white tower temple, known as "sweat cow full building", there are countless classics, the collection of books has reached more than 40,000 books, which can be used for people to learn to the fourth order.

The "Hubilhan" of the Endless White Pagoda Temple has the honorific title of "University Scholar", because each generation of "Hubilhan" will pass a special debate ceremony to be crowned with this title, of course, there is also a reason because the great monk who founded the Endless White Pagoda Temple is the real "University Scholar", and his "University Scholar" honorific title was canonized by the Zhufa Origin Temple and the Central Plains Imperial Court at that time.

Therefore, even if Yongzhen passes the exam in the temple, he is still only a master with a degree of "good knowledge", and if he wants to go further, he must study further, and he must be recommended by this temple to study at the first monastery in the north, or if he does not want to study, he wants to return to his own monastery, master the Dharma platform of a small temple, or become a guru.

Or, go to the house of the toast or the nobleman of Zongben and accept the offering - the Lufeng Tusi family can't go, so they can only go to the house of the nobleman of Zongben to be a monk.

Unless he goes to a bigger temple, gets a higher degree, and then comes back and becomes the head of the Vinaya, or the head of the college, or the rest of the monks, then he can be honored and worshipped – a teacher with the status of a monk and a teacher without the status of a monk are completely different in the temple.

Both Zhiyun and Mingfa wore red monk's robes, but they were never a status.
