Chapter 150: Final Contact

The first contact begins with a fight, but to his credit, the aliens shoot first.

Ryan barely had time to activate his powers, pushing Ryan and the panda down as the mysterious intruder fired a crimson ray into the room. By the time time time was restored, the laser had evaporated the computer's chair and blown a molten hole in the metal wall. Mr. Bo can move at the speed of light, and he dodges attacks, while Sarin and Sunshine are immediately put on high alert. The Shroud was invisible as usual.

The guy quickly walked into the lab, exuding a non-human glow. This terrifying thing is a biomechanical, three-meter-tall humanoid monster covered in dark orange metal armor. The right arm is covered with a strange black biological growth shaped like an organic cannon, while the humanoid hand on the left arm has claws as sharp as knives. The shoulders and chest on the armor have the green eyes of a reptile, while stomach acid runs from the fanged mouths that are supposed to be stomachs. A cyclops' gaze peeks out through a green mask and crimson helmet.

Ryan decided to call it "e.t."

"Well, I guess we're running out of time to eat boiled eggs," the courier said, standing up next to his teammate. "Let's go straight to the omelet."

"Master, what is this?" Panda asked in horror, but to his credit, the young panda had already taken a fighting stance.

"It's them!" Good guys" replied in the tank, though only Ryan understood. "They're back! They're back!"

"Who cares," said Sharin, energy building up in her bracers. "It was the one who did it first!"

The alien answered him with a piercing, non-human roar.

"Mr. Bo guesses you'll join all of his dead enemies," said the ego genome, his body flushing red. "In the depths of the list of extinct species!"

Mr. Bo turns into a laser and crashes head-on into E.T. However, before the Carnival members could hit it, the creature teleported in a purple flash. Mr. Bo continued to walk to the next room, and E.T. reappeared in the center of the lab. Shalin raised her gauntlet, but before she could do it, the sun interrupted her. "Be careful, you might bump into the container of the elixir!" He warned. "If the droplets hit one of usβ€”"

To her credit, Shalin did not open fire, but tried to adjust her position to avoid damaging the facility and injuring her teammates. Sunshine is close behind, while Panda and Blue try to engage in hand-to-hand combat with E.T. Ryan found the area too crowded to perform acrobatics as usual, so he tried to surround the creature from the side.

E.T.'s body glowed orange, and both the panda's claws and Lunn's mechanical fist harmlessly passed through the creature in stages. However, when the monster's left hand reaches for the panda's throat, it becomes solid. The paws dug into the bear's flesh like butter, lifted him off the ground, and threw him at Ryan. The dwarf grabbed the pandaman, but both were thrown back. To Ryan's horror, the dwarf's back hits the "good guy's" biomechanical container, but to his relief, the machine is much stronger than it seems. The vat stood steady, not even a crack.

As the panda quickly switches between bear and human forms to heal wounds, the alien's multiple eyes begin to glow blue, which reminds Ryan of the sci-fi scanner. Each eye analyzes one of the members of the group, but when it's the messenger's turn, E.T.'s mask snaps in the direction of the messenger. The messenger immediately recognized the emotion in the alien's giant-like gaze.

Fear.

"Before you ask, I'll tell you I don't have a cell phone," Ryan replied, and the disappointed alien flushed and rushed at him. Even though the alien is much larger than the time traveler, it moves so fast that the eye can barely keep up. Before Ryan could activate the time-stop device, the monster's left paw reached out to his head.

They moved on.

Ryan watched as the paws slowly approached him, little by little, almost imperceptibly. The alien's eye organs looked around them in slow motion, keeping a close eye on the thin cracks that Ryan's black flux particles tore through the fabric of space-time.

Damn, will everyone be able to enter Ryan's private space? He should charge them a privilege fee!

Thankfully, though, aliens don't move as fast as Lightning Butts. Ryan turned to the monster's flank, aimed in the opposite direction from the potion barrel, and activated his armor chest weapon at close range. After time was restored, a gravity projectile rushed towards E.T., striking it in the chest.

Ryan saw the device blow a hole in McLaren's bunker, but it didn't even damage the alien's biomechanical suit. It only pushed E.T. a few meters away from a corner of the lab, the monster's heavily armed feet anchoring itself to the metal floor.

"My Homo sapiens will kick your prosthetic feet!" Good guys," shouted telepathically. The words "mine" sent shivers down Ryan's side, but he focused on the battle ahead. "Just between two balls!"

The Shroud chose to appear at this moment and fly directly above the aliens. Taking advantage of the extra mass of his glass armor, the vigilante demonstrates thick bindings that keep the surprised aliens in check. "Now! He shouted.

Now their line of fire is clear, and both "Salin" and "Sunshine" hit the right as the "Shroud" retreated. Cornered, the alien is hit in the face by solar plasma and a powerful shockwave.

Or it should be, if it doesn't have a white circular energy field before impact. This protective layer appears as a small sphere around the alien's armor and cancels the attack the moment they hit it. The solar flare and red shockwave were immediately canceled, and the Shroud's glass bindings turned into harmless glass dust.

White flux. This creature can use a variant of the "cancel" power.

Ryan was close to activating his superpowers, but he decided not to. If this shield allows the monster to move at a normal speed in his temporal anomaly, then it will slaughter his allies. At least E.T. stopped moving as he raised his shield, his eyes scanning in all directions.

"I can't feel my glass in my shield!" The Shroud shouted, and Lunn and Panda joined him, surrounding the aliens from all sides.

"White Genome!" Leo shouted, and Mr. Bo returned to the lab, ready for the second round. Neither Sunshine nor Sarin interrupted their attack, trapping the creature in a corner. Maybe they also want to short-circuit the shield. "Don't get into its reach."

"It's not the owner!" Good guys," protested. While no one but Ryan could understand what the trapped elixir was saying, it could hear everyone clearly. "It steals our energy and seals them up!"

"So it's in limited supply?" Ryan guessed, ready to fire with his gravity gun. This biodepletion of Flux in the same way that a car uses oil, which means it can run out of juice. "Go on!"

Shin fires with his chest weapon, while Ryan also fires with a high-pressure water jet. Both projectiles use no energy, so they bypass the white flux shield.

However, E.T.'s reaction was to disintegrate its white shield and teleport before any attack could occur. "Upper!" When the monster reappears above their heads, the Shroud shouts a warning. Its feet stick to the ceiling like Spider-Man.

The alien raised his organic right-hand cannon. The weapon moved, revealing twelve mouths, each spitting out a thorny green seed.

The group dispersed in all directions to avoid the barrage and even the "living sun". He was wise and did not take unnecessary risks, and he did the right thing. When the projectiles hit the ground, their spikes immediately expanded into roots of fangs capable of tearing through steel. One of them landed in the middle of the magic box, and to Ryan's horror, it seemed to be eating the elixir. That particular seed began to grow unusually large at nightmarish speeds, forcing Leo to incinerate the plant as soon as it could spread into the room.

The aliens continue to attack, forcing the group to disperse. Just as he saved Ryan during his first lap, Mr. Bo uses his blazing speed to move the slower members of the group to safety. Both Ryan and the Shroud flew up, trying to hit the aliens from both sides.

The creature's response was to teleport again, this time walking on the surface of the vat of the "good guys". The aliens must have noticed the group's reluctance to destroy the room's equipment and are now using its location as a defense to continue bombing. The alien's chest is gargling, and Ryan realizes that the creature is talking.

"What's written on it?" Shalin asked, repelling a seed by creating a faint shockwave around her body.

"I thinkβ€”" Panda screamed, barely dodging an organic cannonball, his strength giving him a basic knowledge of alien languages. "I think it's about 'peace among the stars'!"

Ah, so the peace of "killing all those who resist". That's great. While Ryan's experience with the elixir of life tells him that most alien creatures are benign, the Courier guesses that they have just encountered a rotten apple.

The messenger takes his armor and decides to engage in close combat with the aliens.

In response, the alien stopped attacking, and orange hues spread throughout its armor. By the time it receded, the clothes had already changed color. From the crimson paneling to the visor, all parts of the armor were turned ivory.

Vajra.

This creature can change its armor material at the molecular level and even become indestructible.

However, in this case, this is a mistake. The alien arrogantly jumps to the ground and raises his hand for a close-quarters fight with Ryan. Its hard claws can tear through the Saturn's armor like butter.

"No!" Mr. Bo warns that in order to avoid close contact, he crashes into E.T. himself. But the alien creature didn't even notice his presence, and the living laser bounced off its indestructible armor like a tennis ball bouncing off a wall. The aliens rush to the messenger with mechanical determination.

When Ryan was only inches away from the alien, he froze time and hit it on his helmet. E.T. didn't even try to dodge, arrogantly believing that he was invulnerable like a lightning ass. Its indestructible armor allows it to move normally in a stationary time, but its enemies have hundreds of years of experience.

Ryan lowered his head to dodge the alien's claws as his fist shattered the alien's mask. A crack appeared in the ivory metal, and black particles slipped in.

The alien released a wave of multicolored energy in the time it stopped, and Ryan staggered backwards. When the clock resumed, the creature screamed, clutching at the helmet in panic.

"Idiot, what did you do?!" Shalin roared, startled by the sight. She unleashed a shockwave at the aliens, but the effect of the attack was nothing more than a breeze to the creature's indestructible body.

Ryan took a step back, and E.T.'s screams grew stronger. The armor was covered in black lines, revealing a barely visible loop with Flux surging inside. The courier notices streaks of white, red, blue, and other colors of the Rainbow Elixir.

All of them soon went black.

The essence of black is paradox, an unstable effect, and the alien armor seems to use the seven color concatenation of the core. A perfect alliance ruined by Ryan.

"I think I caused the oil spill," the courier admitted embarrassedly.

E.T. let out a terrible scream, its eyes all blackened, and a dark orb appeared in its mouth. The gravitational pull around it collapsed, slicing the monster in half and dragging both parts into the small black hole. The Black Current devoured the aliens from within.

β€œRi

i, quickβ€”" Le

rushed to her best friend's side, but her movements slowed down and her verdict continued. While the world around Ryan didn't turn purple, everything froze. The flame of the sun burns the seed, but does not do its job; The Shroud held out a hand to Mr. Bo, but their fingers never touched each other; Sharin's gauntlets glowed with red energy, while the panda's head peeked out from behind the room's computer. Even the alien's body is trapped between these two seconds, its body forever swallowed by the core of the black hole. Tiny cracks in the fabric of space-time spread around it.

Everything stopped, only the elixir was still circling in the container, and Ryan himself. The Courier looked around him, but his body did not produce purple or black particles. There are no illusions of the past haunting him.

This space-time anomaly had nothing to do with his abilities, and it scared him.

"Oops, did I accidentally break time?" Ryan asked, glancing at the trapped elixir. He focused his attention on the violet ones. "Do you know how to solve this problem?"

To his surprise, the Violet Elixir also responded to him telepathically. "Are you Homo sapiens?" It asked hopefully.

Ryan sighed. "No, I'm a platypus."

"Oh. I am sad. "Obviously, while they can understand human language, sarcasm is still not an elixir of life." The man in black can do whatever he wants. ”

Of course. Ryan approaches the black hole, hoping that he will close it as he would open the door to the black world.

"My friend".

Although the voice echoed in Ryan's head, it was neither the voice of a good man nor the voice of the Violet Elixir. The courier can recognize it from something else.

Ryan peeked at the black hole, a black spot no bigger than a finger. It's not a bottomless pit, it's a door. An entrance to a familiar place.

"In the dark?" Ryan shouted into the void.

Its answer can be considered a mental setback.

"My name...... It's not called the Black Spirit. ”

"Yes," Ryan replied, but he breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm glad to hear from you too, my alien minority friend."

"We're running out of time...... the alien warned, straight to the point. When the black flux depletes the creature's flux reserves...... The door will collapse and time will be restored...... I can't talk to you for too long. ”

Ryan breathed a sigh of relief, glad he didn't need to reload to get time back on track. "How is this possible?" He asked. "Last time we needed a particle accelerator to open the portal."

"The plane in this metal prison is ...... Anomalous. Thin. I believe it's for ...... Open the door to a higher realm. "As is often the case with those who want to be summoners, Eva Fabre may have summoned something she couldn't let go. This also explains why Ryan's black flux particles can so easily destabilize the pocket dimension. "I have observed this place from the dark world...... There, time is not affected. From this portal, I saw the past...... And now...... I observe...... I learn. ”

"Can you tell me what this place is?" Ryan asked, glancing at the facility.

"There was once an empire...... In another universe...... Connected to a higher realm......" Ducklin struggled to find the right words. Although it's in Rya

He has been around for a long time, but he still has difficulties with the concept of human beings. "They learned to use Flux to fuel their technology...... Before trying to enslave my people to ascend by force...... After the Ultimone knocked them down, they fled here...... "your universe." ”

Ryan remembered the story of Bacchus and connected the two. "After the ship crashed, the alchemist discovered it." He muttered to himself. "She used their technology to create the genome, so if these creatures go after us, we have a chance to fight."

"Yes, but ...... She was wrong. ”

"What do you mean?"

"I've already asked the Ultimate Dark Devil...... The empire that built the ship collapsed a few decades ago...... Overthrown by their slaves...... Nothing was left. "The darkness marks a brief pause, and the words are heavy." There was no invasion, not even a rescue. The ship is ...... All that remains. ”

Ryan watched as the heavily armed warrior slowly devoured its edge, while the courier remained unscathed. "It's a Japanese," the messenger whispered. "They're still fighting a war that they lost a long time ago."

"What is ...... Japanese?"

"Husband, or vagabond."

Ducklin did not answer immediately. "Anyway...... If left unchecked, embers can still start a fire...... This alchemist has a chance to destroy this place once and for all...... Just like you plan to do with your machine base in that city. ”

"But she didn't." Eva Fabre tries to give humans superpowers to fight any alien creatures that might reach Earth. But if Ducklin is right, then she has been against the windmills.

World's Superior Race ......

Eva Fabre already knows the history of these aliens, but instead of taking it as a cautionary tale, she repeats their mistakes over and over again. She tries to make humanity the successor of the aliens, giving humanity the power to conquer the universe.

Instead of creating Superman, she created something like Mech

o

, blood flow and people like Augustus. Or maybe she doesn't care at all. She must have known about the mentally ill before she released the elixir.

She couldn't resist the temptation of its power...... She summons creatures from a higher realm...... Trying to get technology from sleeping soldiers......"

"But something went wrong. Subject escaped, and she lost control of the facility. ”

"She's retreated into the depths of the ship...... If the last soldiers fled the place...... They will bring great destruction to your civilization...... They can replicate even your most powerful powers. "Everyone...... Except for the man in black. ”

Ryan shuddered as he realized that the monster they were fighting wasn't a boss.

It was a grunt.

"They are ghosts of vengeance...... They have to rest. ”

"But since the Ultimates have brought down that empire, why don't they complete their mission?" Ryan asked. "The Purple One knows this place because it gives me illusions. Why not take direct action?"

"That's true," Ducklin noted. "It sent you."

Ryan froze, and everything suddenly fell into order.

The Violet Finalist sent visions to the Courier and used the message to guide him to teleport thoughts through time. This interdimensional entity never intervenes directly, but it gives some hints, or gives some hints to an interdimensional entity.

It's all about being in the right place at the right time.

"I understand now," the courier said, frowning behind his helmet. "It gave me this illusion so I could make my own decisions. Humanity has caused this catastrophe, and humanity must end it. ”

"Yes...... You can destroy this place...... now and all the timelines. It's up to you to decide what you do. ”

Finally, the ship and the MEC

o

The base is no different. "How do I destroy it?" Ryan asked very seriously.

"The ship has a control center...... One Thought ...... Find it. "I'm sure there will be a way by then." Ducklin unleashes a strange sensation through telepathy, which Ryan believes is an attempt to comfort himself. "We communicate with each other in the Flux of the Immortal Elixir...... You have been with your Messenger for so long...... I also got in touch with the Ultimate. ”

Ryan turned his head to look at the captured elixir. They all fell silent, perhaps eavesdropping on their discussions. "So I learned the language?"

"Yes...... Of all the humans on this Earth, you are the closest you have come to Ascension. It's difficult to communicate directly with you, but it's still possible. Over time, others will learn to ...... This will get you used to the technology...... But she might fight back. ”

Is it possible? Judging by what Ryan is seeing so far, it's more like Will. Alchemists will not let this treasure trove of technology drain.

Unfortunately, time is running out. The Courier had noticed movement at the edge of his line of sight, and more armor had been absorbed into the portal. "Thank you, my friend."

"Good luck......," said Ducklin, the hole collapsing on its own. I hope...... I can help a little more. ”

"You've done enough."

Ryan expected a bright explosion, but this time the space-time anomaly ended with a whimper. The alien's entire body collapsed into the black hole, and as time fully recovered, the black hole dissipated.

"Own!" Ryan finished her words, but before she could touch Ryan's shoulder, she froze in mid-air. Alien warriors, not even dust is left.

After a brief silence and no further attack, the genomes reassembled. Sunshine has finished burning the seeds, and while the magic box and walls have been severely damaged, most of the facility is intact.

"Gone?" The Shroud asked, floating above where the aliens had once stood. "Or was you teleported away?"

"It's gone," Ryan replied, glancing down the hallway to the next room. "I know what to do."

His teammates must have noticed his serious tone, and then the Shroud looked at him cautiously. "Go on," he asked.

"You've played Metroid," Rya

Remind his friends. "If so, then you should know that there is only one ending."

Accompanied by a big bang.
