Chapter 166: The Door and the Key
As Ryan stared into the purple abyss, the abyss looked back.
As he falls into a purple tunnel, the time traveler sees distant echoes around him. Images flashed through his mind like pictures, followed by sounds. He relived his memories, some of which were his own, but not all.
Ryan remembers the day he and Ryan found the elixir of life, and the moment it all began.
For a moment, he was Ryan, desperately drinking the elixir of life, trying to heal his sick father.
The next moment, he turned into a woman with a dream and was killed by a ruthless man. He lived through the murder of Julie Costa and was both a victim and a murderer.
He becomes a living sun and fights the final battle against an endless army of mad geniuses for the good of the world.
He remembers the birth of the stuffed animal, his rebirth in Monaco, and his first perfect run.
He observes the final failure of the blood flow through six pairs of eyes, gaining a broader perspective.
He became a priest who longed to defend the world in the name of God, and an anti-social scientist who drove him crazy.
Ryan became all of these people and even more as he went through these fragments of the past. The Endless Time Tapestry appears to the wanderer, giving him greater insight and knowledge.
Throughout the process, Ryan's purple doppelganger followed him like a shadow, a reflection. It got closer and closer to what it was, but never merged with him. The two old friends are reunited, but now is not the time to become one.
There is still a task to be done.
"I'm with you." The stand-in whispered in Ryan's own voice. His elixir, Magenta, dwells in this ghost, always standing by its human companions. "Let's kick his ass."
Ryan stood up softly and found Augustus waiting for him.
To the Courier, the purple world is an endless plain of grass, and the purple ground is smooth like a polished mirror. The sky is a pale purple color, a beautiful cloudless and windless sky. Countless orbs floated above Ryan's head, connected by the aurora of beautiful, dazzling violet light. These strange bubbles reflect pictures of incomprehensible alien worlds, dinosaur-ruled lands, humans and alien cities.
Ryan can't count them all, everyone has a different performance. Another place, another time.
door, the messenger realized. A gateway to countless other worlds, portals to different pasts, different presents, and possible futures. Ryan couldn't help but take a moment to marvel at the exotic beauty of this place, marveling at this universe of infinite possibilities. This sight humbled him as he truly began to understand how vast the multiverse was and how small he was in comparison.
"What is this place?" The red light from Augustus's body vanished, leaving only a broken ivory statue. His eyes glared at Ryan, oblivious to the majesty of the place. "What did you do?"
"I brought you to my turf," the courier replied, taking a step forward. His armor suddenly became light as air, and his violet elixir followed him like a shadow. "That's it."
"Yes." Augustus raised his hand and tried to hit Ryan with divine lightning. But to his surprise, his fingers did not emit electricity.
The mob Zeus could not draw energy from the red world here. Unless permission is obtained. Unlike Ryan, he is nothing more than an intruder, an unwelcome guest, in this world that serves as a second home for time travelers.
"It's a crossroads, but you can't open the lock," Ryan said, darkness hanging over his skin. "Although I ......"
Black energy burst out from his heart, his soul, burning Saturn's armor and enveloping his entire body in a cloak of darkness. Ryan turned into a purple shadow, a humanoid black hole. The emptiness of life.
The Saturn armor has always been just a megaphone, helping Ryan focus on his personal connection to the black world. But here, in this place? At this crossroads of time and space?
"I'm the door and I'm the key!"
Ryan can harness the black flux as much as he wants.
Half of his vision darkened as the paradoxical energy drained his injured left eye. The Courier and his opponent crossed the distance in an instant, and the space vanished between them as if it no longer existed. Surprised, Augustus instinctively raised his left arm to protect his head, and Ryan slammed his head with a pitch-black fist.
His fuzzy fingers cut through the hard stone like butter.
Augustus's eyes widened in shock, and his forearm fell to the purple ground, leaving a stump behind. His flesh was calcified, and became as hard and indestructible as the skin outside. But the nerves in the Lightning Ass were still working properly, if his painful rant was any sign at all. He gripped the stump tightly with his remaining hand, his eyes widening with anger and fear.
He would be happy if Ryan's current state didn't hurt him as much as Augustus did. He felt his skin peeling off, swallowed by the black current. His legs, his arms, began to shimmer like shadows in the sun. If he continues like this, he will either become a living shadow...... Or cease to exist.
"Surrender," the messenger ordered Augustus.
He didn't listen.
"I was chosen." Madness and arrogance overwhelmed Augustus, and his fear of death was replaced by a single-minded, murderous rage. Unable to knock Ryan down with lightning, he raised his right fist and made a haystack move. There was no rational thought in Lightning Bart's eyes; His hatred overwhelmed his survival instincts. His mind simply couldn't accept defeat. "I was chosen by fate!"
Ryan raised a hand, and his purple double followed his movements, shattering Augustus' right arm with a swift blow. The severed arm was with its twin brother on the purple floor, and the pain brought Lightning Ass to its knees.
He lost the hands that had broken Julie Costa's head.
Call it karma.
Ryan looked down at his foe as his purple double glanced at the entrance above them. The wrinkles on Augustus's body, both natural and the cracks left by the battle, were exposed to everyone. The perfect Olympic statue has degenerated, and his sleek exterior now resembles a broken windshield. Although he didn't bleed, there was hardly a spot on the gangster that wasn't without cracks, a crater in the shape of a hand, or bare metal flesh.
Ryan glanced at the face of the Almighty Genome, which looked old and scared under the roar. The face that Augustus tried to hide from the world was not the face of God, but the face of a weak, anguished old man. He was so afraid of his own death that he killed thousands of people in order to delay it.
Underneath all the aura of cruelty and divine power, Augustus was nothing more than an insignificant villain, worthy of nothing but contempt.
"Give it up!" Ryan shouted, his voice getting deeper and deeper as his throat flickered.
But now Augustus has lost everything, and he has only pride left.
"God will not surrender!" He growled.
A true God is listening and letting people know of His existence.
The portal's bubbles dispersed and were pushed open by an invisible cosmic force. The smooth ground beneath Ryan's feet undulated like the surface of a pond, and Flux's aurora was even brighter. A huge shadow obscured Ryan and Augustus, causing them to raise their eyes to look at the alien sky.
Supreme Violet descends from the sky.
Ryan had only glimpsed this entity in the past, but now it revealed it in all its glory, the universe. The courier vaguely mistakes it for an inverted pyramid, but upon closer inspection, it seems much more complicated. The geometry in front of him would give Euclid a headache as the space cascaded into a strange purple triangular spiral.
This shape, this geometry, does not exist and cannot exist on Earth. Ryan's own human brain can't fully process what he sees. It tries to match shapes to other, more classic forms, quantifying what can't be quantified...... But it failed.
Millions of eyes cover this mysterious triangle, black spheres filled with spirals of rotating galaxies, black holes that devour everything, nebulae, and cosmic phenomena that human astronomers have not yet discovered.
Ryan realizes that every eye is a universe. This thing is so big that just looking at it can make the courier's head hurt. Even the arrogant Augustus seemed stunned by what he saw.
The entity's eyes are fixed on mortals.
A violet solar flare engulfed them both, dispelling the darkness around Ryan. The light of the multiverse of the ultimate One bathes the Messenger's naked body, stripping him of pain, senses, and reason. God's will overwhelmed his own will, allowing him to see through one eye of God.
Time travelers are transported back in time to a time when there were no humans, no life. He witnessed the condensation of matter from the nebula, while a star erupted into life, and planets formed in the space dust surrounding the radiated skylight. An asteroid hits a magmatic rock, and the ejected rock gathers into a smaller pebble that forever rotates around the larger one.
After the fire cooled, continents, volatile gas atmospheres, and vast oceans were formed. As bacteria colonize the earth, the earth gets colder. Algae grow in the deep sea, and legged creatures dare to walk on land. Insects conquered the sky, then reptiles conquered the ground, until another rock fell from the sky and set them all on fire.
Mammals rise from the ashes and become bigger and smarter. Primates mastered fire and made tools to conquer the world. Before splitting into countless tribes, the human lineage evolved and became one. Some built pyramids, others temples. The kingdom rises and falls, and the two families walk on the path of time. One finds the final fruit in a man with dreams of violent conquest, the other in a child who loves video games, and both are caught in the process of conflict.
It's all for this moment.
"It's a second for me."
The Ultimate's voice was unlike anything Ryan had ever heard. It's a subtle song from undulating space, a symphony of time. It's indescribably beautiful, yet awe-inspiring.
The voice of the true God.
When the divine union ended, Ryan's pain vanished, and with it the Black Current. His skin felt fresh beneath the iron, and a fully restored piece of Saturn armor protected him. The eye that had been blinded by Augustus could see again, perhaps more clearly than before.
But God did not give Augustus such comity, and he was still a crippled man. Lightning Bart was stunned, his eyes wide open, and his arrogant contempt vanished.
"You're not a god."
He also saw that vision, and the truth broke him.
"You're nothing."
Augustus' eyes looked down at the ground, his gaze hollow and hollow. His whole personality, his sense of self, was formed around the idea that he was a god among men, chosen by fate to rule and conquer. He bases his family, his own world, on this primitive fantasy, lashing out at anything that might contradict his fantasy.
But the Supreme used his own insignificant truth to dispel his armor of lies and completely destroy him.
Something inside Augustus had been broken and could never come back.
The Ultimate's attention to the failed genome is no more than that of a fly. Instead, its gaze fell on Ryan, weighing the messenger under the weight of its divine gaze.
The Courier's purple twin kneels before the entity, and the elixir of life yields to the older entity. Although he didn't go that far, Ryan bowed as deeply as he could. Even the irreverent Messenger knows that he is in the presence of a true God, a being beyond humanity, just as they are far from ants. A completely alien entity with unfathomable powers.
"You're the ultimate—" Ryan began, but the entity interrupted him.
"I am all about space and time. I am everything in the past, everything in the present, everything in the future. I'm everywhere, but I'm nowhere to go. I am who I am. ”
"So you control—"
"Yes."
"You already know—"
"I know what you're going to say."
"Well, can you pretend not to know?" The time traveler pleaded embarrassedly. "It's annoying to be cut off all the time."
Violet Flex immediately spun in front of Ryan, solidifying into a solid shape. The entity it merged into was as tall as the Courier, and nothing else. The man was wearing a purple robe, which appeared to be woven from space fabric, with a cloud of foam coming out from underneath. Ryan didn't see any faces under the hood, only the night sky and the spinning nebula. This creature has no arms and does not need them.
"Do you think this shape is more comfortable?" The latest incarnation of the Ultimator asked, in a voice identical to Ryan's own.
For some reason, that avatar speaks French.
"Much better," the messenger replied, and to his delight, the entity did not interrupt him again. It may know what humans are going to say, but politely pretend not to. Ryan glanced at Augustus, who stared at the ground like a vegetative state. "What's wrong with him?"
"He's not important." The Ultimate incarnation didn't even glance at Augustus, as the distance between Ryan and the broken gangster grew longer. The lightning butt moves backwards until it disappears from sight. "Here we are."
Space bends, and a terrifying creature emerges from an angle at the edge of Ryan's vision. It is a terrifying animal the size of a horse, with white skin, hundreds of red eyes all over its body, underdeveloped tentacles on its front legs, and large tentacles on its hind legs. Two antennae grow out of its twisted bulbous head, like long porcelain ears.
Plushie。
Or rather, the entity that hijacked it.
Somehow, Ryan couldn't help but find it cute, in a grotesque way. Shin touched the monster's head with an armored hand, scratching behind the "ear". Its tentacles writhed happily, and its red eyes turned blue.
"Thank you, buddy." Ryan said that the terrible monster responded to him with a meow that looked like a strangled cat. "From the heart."
The calamity of sorcery has brought many fears to the time traveler, but in the end, it has been a loyal friend since day one. Ryan can see it now.
"Has that always been your true form?" The messenger asked, as the stuffed animal shook its tentacles. The creature's shadow looked different a few laps ago.
"It's the form it chooses," said Supreme. The courier suddenly notices that its voice, while echoing Ryan's, lacks any emotional intonation. This creature mimics human language like a parrot and can understand words, but not music. "It must now return to its duties."
Ryan suddenly realizes that the time that a stuffed animal is on Earth is the equivalent of a holiday.
No wonder it spends its time creating chaos and destruction!
"I have a lot of questions," Ryan confessed.
"I have the answer," replied Supreme.
"Thank you." Ryan suspects that not many people would boast that they have received an audience from or closest to the "Outer God." "You've guided me for a while. The first is through EUG-HE
y, then ch
o
o
adim。 First of all, I want to thank you. ”
God did not answer. It feels distant, physically present, but also non-existent.
"Was this pre-arranged?" Ryan asked hesitantly. "Did you make this moment inevitable?"
This time, the Supreme replied. "I made this moment possible. You make it inevitable. ”
The bubble floated out from under the entity's clothes, getting bigger and bigger, the size of a tennis ball. As Ryan examined them more closely, he noticed images on their surfaces.
"These are the paths you can take." The Ultimate O
E glanced at a bubble with Ryan walking out of New Rome, but not the same as before. The courier's cashmere suit had turned into tattered rags, and his eyes had turned blue and purple.
The doppelganger's vicious expression sent chills down the shoulders of the original Ryan, especially when he noticed that the birds and clouds were freezing over the New Rome building.
"With this possibility, you took a risk and drank a second dose of the elixir of life, only to be the nemesis of your kind," the Ultimator explained, while Ryan's purple double looked away in shame. "As Clockstoppe
, you will turn the human hive of New Rome into a snowball and then go on to destroy the lives of millions of people. ”
"Is this happening now?" Ryan asked in horror as the stuffed animal purred on his lap. "In another world?"
"No," replied the Ultimate, the Courier breathing a sigh of relief. "As an observer, you are a space-time singularity. That's part of the reason why your partner can't predict you. ”
The courier frowned behind his helmet. "An observer?"
The Supreme ignores the issue. Another bubble floats in front of Ryan, revealing him and Livia engaged in a fierce shootout over the burning ruins of Augustus Hills. "In the event that this possibility disappears, you will never trust your current partner and you will go to war with her in order to control your timeline. One cycle is worse than the other. ”
Ryan stared at the photo for a moment, then was distracted by another one that showed the Courier hitting Augustus in the chest with his hand reaching out from the other side.
"In this story, you knocked down her creator," the Supreme explained, "and while she didn't fight you, your bond was broken." You leave the hive of the humans of New Rome and go back to wandering, alone. ”
The stuffed animal pointed to another bubble, which made Ryan raise an eyebrow. In the photo, the courier is lying on the bed, surrounded by naked women, including Fortuna, Jasmine, Yuki, Nora, Vampire, Seke......
and Felix.
Somehow, Felix is here too.
"Wait, is this the harem ending?" Ryan asked curiously.
"In this timeline, you're giving up on making meaningful connections with your loved ones," the Ultimate explains. "You live a boring life, filled with senseless feelings, and use physical pleasures to alleviate the pain of the heart."
Ryan suddenly notices Ryan and Livia's absence in this photo, suggesting that there is nothing deeper than mindless sex. "I should have known it didn't look too good to be true," he said.
The Most High dispelled the bubble with a thought. "All of these are choices you could have made, or if you wavered in your efforts, you would have been forced to make choices. For the sake of your perfect future, you give up or extinguish these possibilities. If it's happening at this moment, human, it's because you're trying to make it happen. ”
"So I have free will?" The courier asked, afraid of this answer. "If there are likely to be multiple paths, then the event is not predetermined?"
"Free will doesn't work as most people understand it," Supreme explained. "Whenever a life form makes a choice, the timeline keeps changing. A cat faces a forked path. It can be to the left or to the right. In that brief moment, two possibilities coexisted. ”
Ryan wanted to know that the cat's name was Sch
ödi
ge
, or eug - he
y。 "Until the cat chooses."
"Yes. After this, a possibility became a reality and was determined. History has been written. Whenever you save up the time and rewind it, the ink is already dry. Humanity has already made a choice in previous history, and unless it is interfered with by external forces, they will make the same choice for all future history. This is the nature of cause and effect. This is the nature of time. ”
Ryan tried to grasp the implications. People like Augustus choose to sin themselves, while people like Sunshine choose to help others. Time does not invalidate their choice, but once they have made it, it cannot be changed.
"So we humans have the freedom to choose," the man concluded, "but can't change our minds?"
They can write their own life story, but they can't change the first draft.
"The humans you meet choose to be themselves," the Ultimates confirmed. "But they can't choose to be someone else. Only those who exist outside of cause and effect have this privilege. Beings of higher dimensions, such as messengers. Those who were touched by the rebellious Blake. and you. ”
Rya
Remembered him and Le
At the last meeting, he compared himself to a Sch

cats that exist in multiple states at the same time. However, unlike this poor, suffering cat, the courier can decide which state he ends up in. "So...... Am I an exception?"
"You wish to break the chain of cause and effect in order to save another life, so I grant you the power of the observer. The power that exists in your little reality and in my purple world, it transcends cause and effect. Because you can interfere with the primitive selection of life forms, you decide for yourself which possibility, which underlying reality, will become real history. Only you can give someone a second chance. You are the true master of your universe, humanity. ”
"I'm sorry," Ryan apologized, then looked at his heavily armed hands. A few minutes ago, they had disappeared next to his left eye. "It must have been hard work to clean up the flow of time behind me. I've probably created a lot of contradictions in all of these cycles. ”
"It's my duty to keep the flow of time intact," the Ultimator replied, glancing at Ryan's left eye. "Some parts of your body have been erased forever, so I've replaced them with parts that may not have been touched by the Dark Devil before."
“time-t
a
spla
t ?” Ryan asked. "Good vulnerability."
"I'm pretty good at filling the holes dug by the men in black, though not perfectly. This power is clearly uncontrollable. This is an unforeseen mistake in the great machine of the universe. ”
"Although I'm curious to know what would have happened if I had died of old age and had been saved a few minutes earlier," Ryan said. "From your own point of view, what's going on?"
"Time repeats itself until you attain peace and enlightenment," replied the Supreme. "Then you will rise to the purple world, and without you, history will continue."
Still, Ryan wondered how many cycles it would take...... He suddenly realized that the creature in front of him didn't understand how painful it would be. The ultimate second is billions of years. The Messenger has endured centuries of suffering in a time loop until he becomes enlightened, which will not be a single point of light on its radar.
"I have one more question," the courier said hesitantly, unsure how the creature would react. "But I don't want to sound ungrateful."
The Ultimate Supreme didn't answer, but it probably had foreseen the question he was about to ask.
"Why don't you help us a little more?" Ryan glanced up at the massive pyramid. "According to Ducklin, you defeat the reptilian and you have control over reality itself. Why don't you stop the alchemists from destroying our planet?"
The Ultimate's turbaned head glanced at Ryan's left foot. "There's a bacterium crawling on your limbs. It has an oval shape with orange cytoplasm and blue tentacles. Ever since you set foot in New Rome, it's been with you, eating the dust off your skin. It fought to the death against parasites for food, surviving radiation and lightning. Someday it will replicate. Have you noticed?"
"No," Ryan confessed.
"To me, humans are the bacterial community," the entity explained. "I'm big, you're small. Unless I concentrate or you disrupt the timeline, I won't even notice the existence of your planet. Your reality is a grain of sand in the endless desert I look down on. It is the paint on the tapestry of my dreams. If this avatar in your head entered your universe, it would have a mass greater than the mass of your sun of 100 billion, and larger than your largest black hole. ”
"I can't imagine it," the courier admitted. His human brain simply couldn't properly represent size differences. "So we're insignificant to the Supreme?"
"To me, humans are no more important than the birds you live on, or the ants you step on when you walk." It answered bluntly. "My role is to keep time moving forward, and the spatial boundaries of trillions of universes."
Ryan's purple stand-in chose to speak at this time. "It's our job to help you mortals."
"I don't care about mortal creatures, but I don't ignore them either," the Supreme continued. "That's why we the Ultimate created the Messenger. Guiding lower life forms into higher levels of existence. ”
Ryan frowned. "Then why did you help me regardless of others?" Is it because you need me to destroy the alchemist's base?"
"No," the alien god replied flatly.
"Then why? Why are you helping me achieve my happy ending?"
"Because I chose."
The purple aurora shimmers in the sky, a line of light that connects time and space.
"You're like those people who find injured dogs on the road," Ryan realized. "You don't take the initiative to help someone, but if someone comes directly to you in pain and asks for help...... Sometimes you answer. ”
The Supreme responded with silence.
In the end, it is neither good nor evil as understood by humans. It's a cold, strange thing.
But also selfless compassion.
Ryan was neither angry nor happy about these answers. He could only accept it. Although the Supreme is cold and distant, he has no malice, and he helps a poor human to achieve his happy ending without asking for anything in return. For this, the courier will always be grateful.
Ryan has one more question to ask. "So how does this end?"
"Whatever you want." The Ultimates glanced at the rag doll and the magenta avatar. "You can stay here and be one of us. You will be given tremendous powers and obligations. You will oversee the flow of time, traversing countless realities. You'll have plenty of options. If you're after greater freedom, you can also choose to enter the black world. ”
Ryan considered the offer, and while it was funny, it wasn't what he was after. "Or......" he asked. Or I can go back to Earth. ”
"You can." The Ultimate admits.
Ryan's thoughts turned to Livia and Ryan. "In my years of wandering, there was something I had never experienced. It's something I've been trying to achieve for a long time. ”
For the first time throughout the conversation, the Supreme stared at the man with a curious gaze. "What's the matter?"
It knows the answer, but it doesn't.
"Living happily ever after," Ryan replied, "I have friends who remember me." ”
The ragdoll's antenna hung down in disappointment, so the courier immediately reassured it. "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to join this paradise and travel the universe with you...... Just not now. Not today. ”
The Supreme was silent for a moment, then made a decision. The door of Ascension will remain open. If you decide to join us instead of going back in time, I will wipe you out from your timeline and welcome you into my realm. Otherwise, you are free to walk into the black world. You have earned ascension, humanity, because you have learned to use your power with wisdom. Now and forever. ”
"So......" Ryan glanced at his purple double, and then at the pesky rabbit he had strangely taken a fancy to. Is this a farewell?"
"No, Ryan," his copy said enthusiastically, the stuffed animal chirping back. "We will always be with you, even if you can't see us. Don't you understand? You'll never be alone. You'll never be alone. ”
Somehow, that's what Ryan has always wanted.
"I'm going to send you and your partner's maker back to your timeline," Supreme said. "I will also remove your inner connection to the black world. The generosity of the Black Ultimate's is careless and will undermine your reality if the paradox within you is allowed to grow further. ”
"I guess that's fair." The Black Supreme gave Ryan this gift because he wanted to die, but now ......
Now Ryan has learned to live.
Violet's ultimate little incarnation silently transforms into a Violet streamer, its triangular self bathing Ryan with its magical light. The ragdoll jumped out of the way, taking one last look at its old friend, magenta waving at his stand-in. Ryan waved goodbye and returned to reality.
A second later, the messenger finds himself standing on a beach in France, dressed in his full Saturn armor, next to Augustus, who has lost his arm and is wounded. Ryan looked up and saw a sun illuminating the night sky, shaped like a man.
Leo Hargraves looked at the messenger in silent relief, then at his old enemy. Seeing this scene, he seemed to feel both satisfaction and pity, which said a lot about Su
shi
Some of the characteristics of e.
"I'm worried about you," Leo admits to Ryan.
"Haven't you heard?" The time traveler smiles under his helmet. "I am immortal."
It wasn't until dawn, the real dawn, that they returned to Italy together. Ryan holds the broken Augustus, like Sister Peta. By that time, the Bliss factory on the island of Ischia had been reduced to burning ruins, and the courier's allies had evacuated with their captives to the old port of New Rome.

When E arrived in the area, they found hundreds of people gathered near the transport depth ball near the pier. Fortuna and Felix put a warm blanket over Nassinia, while Mr. Bo tells the story to the traumatized child. Lunn and the rehabilitated supergang escort the shackled Olympians. The bound Venus, pushed by Jamie and Lanka, follows her husband.
The two eventually made the right choice.
Vulca
and Wyve
Arrived with the other captured lieutenants Augustus; Not an enemy, but a restless ally. Enrique and other private security guards escort the bandits to Lunn's bathymetric device, which will transport them to an undersea prison from which they cannot escape.
However, despite the dire situation, the Olympians remain confident. They believe that their invincible leader will destroy those who dare to resist him and come to the rescue of his loyal minions.
Ryan's appearance shattered their hopes. When Augustus raised his eyes and watched him in the light of Leo Hargraves, holding their defeated master in his arms, they could only react in shock and denial. Wynne's eyes almost bulged out of his skull, and Enrique nodded quietly and respectfully at Ryan. Seeing that her adoptive father was still alive, Lunn made no secret of her relief, and even Bianca smiled from ear to ear.
Without saying a word, Ryan pushed the defeated Augustus to the ground. The warlord who fell to the ground did not stand up, his will was broken. When they saw that their invincible leader was completely crushed, the remaining Olympians lost the will to fight. They silently bowed their heads and walked towards their fate.
The war is over.
