So Songzi thinks from the perspective of this senior, this is indeed the most lacking part of Qin Bukong and me, because we are all people who only care about the front of us, like headless flies bumping around, and we happen to bump into one, then it can only be said to be fate.

Songzi then told me that after narrowing down the scope to the two river basins, there are still more than ten places left, of which there are two or three of them that we have already gone to find before, and most of the remaining places are concentrated on both sides of the Yangtze River, so that it is relatively easy for us to investigate, at least we don't have to waste a lot of time on the road.

I asked Matsuko, do you have a score in mind now? We've been asking a lot of questions these days, and every time you nod your head, I'm confused. Songzi smiled and said, Situ, Situ, you really should know more about the place where you live, there is always only one ultimate truth of any problem, but you need to keep subtracting from a lot of suspected clues until you are left with the last one. As we investigate this matter, you just need to stick to this purpose, and you will definitely find that the path will get narrower and narrower, and even in the end, there will be no way out. When there is no way out, you have to work hard to find a breakthrough, and this breakthrough is most likely the key to the truth.

I agree with his words, but I don't understand, this is like the contradiction between the new and the old, the same is cultural knowledge, the old school talks about human morality, etiquette, righteousness and shame, but the new school teaches us logical thinking, effective analysis, from the perspective of cultural knowledge, each has its own value, if the two can be integrated with each other, that is the real knowledgeable person. Obviously, at this moment, Songzi is a learned person for me, perhaps because he has lived in Taoism since he was a child, his worldview is very large, but his values are very small, so that the angle and way of thinking about problems are much simpler and purer than those of us who have been immersed in the world for many years.

And the simplicity and purity of pine nuts is exactly what I appreciate the most.

Songzi said, starting from the Eight Gate Strange Array that you and Qin's predecessors broke together, until the Seven Evil Passes that we are about to break through now, to put it bluntly, they are all based on the theoretical foundation of our own Taoism, although in this we can occasionally encounter some content that is compatible with Buddhism, another local religion, such as the "魎" that we first encountered before, you and Qin's predecessors thought it was a "brake" at the time, but you fell into some miscellaneous records and experiences of your predecessors, and did not carefully find the connection in the middle. Songzi said with a sly smile, and then said to me, who said that "魑" and "brake" can't be the same thing? The difference given to us by religious doctrines is only the difference in the angle of understanding, so the Guanyin Bodhisattva in Buddhism is still the Cihang Zhenren in our Taoism!

The way Matsuko studied it was so different from my previous research that I was so surprised that I couldn't speak for a long time. Songzi went on to say that our Taoism is a native religion, the most representative is the precipitation and accumulation of our Chinese's profound culture for thousands of years, Buddhism was gradually introduced from our Han Dynasty, to the Tang Dynasty Xuanzang westward, the Buddhist scriptures retrieved are actually the original Buddhist scriptures, and according to local conditions, from the perspective of our Han people's understanding of everything to understand the Tianzhu scriptures, naturally it is impossible to be word-for-word, unchanged. Under the feudal imperial system, in order to consolidate their rule, the emperor often used religion to restrain the people, in this case, our Buddhism fused the ancient legends and Taoist theoretical knowledge to form the current appearance, in fact, and the original Buddhism, the difference has been very huge. I said that of course I have read the four famous novels, if I don't even know Journey to the West, then I won't live in vain. Matsuko said, don't you think it's strange? Tang Seng took the Buddhist scriptures, but the book was full of all kinds of Taoist characters such as the Jade Emperor, the Queen Mother, Taiyi Xingjun, Taishang Laojun, and even Nezha, a character in the god list?

As soon as I heard it, it seemed to be true, and according to Matsuko's logic, it seemed to confirm what he said. Seeing that I was thoughtful, Songzi continued, so the clue we are looking for at the moment is called "Sixty Jiazi", which is derived from the content of our heavenly and earthly branches, belonging to primitive Taoism.

Songzi said, do you remember the Changchun Temple we visited yesterday? I said yes, ah, it's a famous local Taoist temple, do you say that the place that the sixty Jiazi refers to is actually this place? Songzi nodded and said, I think most of it, but I don't judge it just because it's a Taoist temple.

He said, in fact, the current Changchun view of the past two days I also inquired about it, it is obviously because in the Yuan Dynasty, Qiu Chuji Zhenren once preached here, once stayed for a period of time, came to listen to him more people, and gradually formed some Taoist atmosphere of the palace view group nearby, so later the whole was named after the title of Qiu Chuji Zhenren "Changchunzi", called "Changchun Guan".

I said that's a little wrong, the predecessors of the array are from the Song Dynasty, if this place was built and formed in the Yuan Dynasty, wouldn't it be right in time? Songzi said, it is true, but before the Changchun view officially became the palace view, it was called "Laojun Temple" here, according to legend, in the period of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Laozi once also stayed here, and spent a long time here to enlighten, at that time this was still a barren mountain and wild mountain, there was no human population, so Laojun was hungry to pick wild fruits and vegetables to eat, and when he was thirsty, he drank mountain spring water. Later, he also dug a well, and spent his days looking down at the water surface of the well at the mouth of the well, using the well as a mirror, and watching his hair and beard grow, so as to think about some truths. This well was called "Tiji Well" by later generations, but in the early years of the Republic of China, it had been blocked and sealed.

I shouted in my heart, that's a pity, it's not a pity that cultivators like us, if we drink a sip of the water from the bottom of the well dug by Lao Jun himself, maybe we will realize it earlier. Songzi went on to say that when he inquired about this well, he thought of the original meaning of our "dragon", this kind of ghost, in the ancient book description, is a kind of ghost that exists in the mountains and swamps by the spirit of heaven and earth, and in fact, most of the habits of the ancient books are to put the "dragon" and "spirit" together, but that is recorded after the Eastern Jin Dynasty, in fact, in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", the two of them are in charge of one side, "dragon" special aquatic spirit, but ethereal and invisible, the appearance of ghosts, in fact, is strange. And the "spirit" is a gathering of sick qi, similar to the kind of plague.

I asked Songzi, do you think that the "dragon" is under the well of Tiji? But didn't you say that the well had been sealed a long time ago? Songzi smiled and said, don't worry, this is only one of the aspects, it is sealed, but it does not mean that it does not exist. What really makes me feel that this place is a small hall that has been preserved since the Laojun Temple period.
