Chapter 1: The Savior of Hogwarts

Hogwarts, Headmaster's Office.

Severus Snape hurried into the room, walked quickly to Dumbledore's headmaster's desk, and said in a low voice:

"The thing you asked me to keep, it's about to break."

Dumbledore raised his head slowly, as if in thought, and after a moment spoke:

"Take me over first."

"Okay."

Without hesitation, Snape turned and walked out of the principal's office, found the nearest Floo Net fireplace, sprinkled a handful of Floo powder, and read clearly:

"Map Vault."

Bang!

A faint green flame rose and enveloped the figures of Snape and Dumbledore, disappearing.

When they reappeared, the two were in a slightly dimly lit hallway.

The hallways are littered with visible signs of vicissitudes, the walls are covered with moss, the arcades are broken, and the rubble piled up on the floor means that this place is little known and the occasional visitor never bothers to clean it.

But at the end of this dilapidated corridor, there is a door that is richly decorated and made of unknown materials, even after hundreds of thousands of years, it is still intact, and time seems to have not left the slightest trace on that door.

This is the underground of Hogwarts, and few people have been able to discover it for hundreds of years. Even Snape only learned that there was such an area under Hogwarts when Dumbledore told him.

But Snape didn't care who built it or what they built it for, because he was only here to carry out Dumbledore's orders!

Snape made his way down the hallway to the door, repeating what he had done thousands of times.

Bang!

With a slightly heavy thomping sound, the door was pushed open by Snape, and a grand hall came into view.

The black and gold color scheme makes this hall full of beauty and not solemn at the same time. At the end of the hall are four huge mirrors that resemble porticos, and the floor in the center of the hall is also made of 'mirror' materials, and beneath that mirrored is a mountain range and a magnificent castle nestled in the mountains - that is Hogwarts!

Snape, who had been here thousands of times, was already surprised, and he stepped down the high platform where the entrance was located, down the steps to the mirrored surface of the mountains, and then turned and walked to the hidden steps under the high platform.

The staircase leads to a hallway, and on each side of the corridor is a torch with a dazzling blue flame.

And under the dazzling blue flames, there was another gate.

The main gate is the same as the entrance, but slightly smaller.

Snape pushed the door open again, and behind it was a room the size of the Hogwarts student lounge.

There is hardly any decoration in the room, except for the crystal suspended in the middle of the room, which is emitting a brilliant purple light like a starry sky.

The surface of the purple crystal was uneven, but very regular, and was composed of countless equilateral hexagons.

It's just that for some reason, the crystal is like a glass ball that has been slammed into the ground, and a third of the surface is covered with cracks.

Snape's expression froze for a moment, and he said in a deep voice:

"It wasn't that bad when I left, it was only a crack on its surface five minutes ago!"

On Dumbledore's orders, he had to come here three times a day, each time to make sure the crystal was intact. For the past ten years, the crystal has been unharmed and undisturbed, until today.

"That is, it suddenly became like this?"

Dumbledore was thoughtful, and was about to ask, when he suddenly heard a 'click' in his ear.

Dumbledore and Snape looked at the crystal at the same time, the crack on its surface was expanding, and almost in the blink of an eye, it had spread all over the crystal!

Click!

A fragment of crystal cracked and catapulted to the ground in the blink of an eye.

And this is like a signal, more and more crystal fragments are ejected in all directions one after another, like steel balls ejected when a broadsword mine explodes!

Snape immediately took out his wand and cast an iron armor spell in front of Dumbledore, and the invisible shield guard blocked all the debris that came from the fire.

Bang Bang Bang!

When Snape blocked all attacks and looked into the center of the room again, his face was full of consternation.

The purple crystal was gone, replaced by a boy in a wide magician's robe.

He looked to be only eleven or twelve, but his hair was the same white or silver as Dumbledore's, which reminded Snape of the Baby, most of whom had silver hair.

At this moment, the boy's face was as stunned as Snape's, and it was obvious that he was a little confused by what he was seeing.

Dumbledore's expression was also a little stunned, and it was obvious that what was happening at the moment was also a little unexpected for him, which was different from the information he knew......

Dumbledore looked at the stunned boy in the center of the room, and a kind smile appeared on his face:

"I suppose you must be Mr. Ash Black, right?"

The boy raised his head, looked at the two adults in front of him, and said slowly:

"I'm Ash Black, who are you?"

Receiving an affirmative reply, Dumbledore smiled and introduced himself:

"I'm the current Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, and this is Severus Snape, a professor of Potions."

"Dumbledore? Snape? ”

The boy whispered the name, his expression a little surprised, and suddenly asked:

"What time is it? I mean, how many years? ”

"1991."

“……”

Ash Black fell silent, bowed his head and didn't know what he was thinking, and after a long time spoke with difficulty:

"So, I 'slept' for a whole hundred years?"

"I think so." Dumbledore bowed his head slightly, and whispered under Snape's suspicious gaze:

"A hundred years ago, in order to save Hogwarts, the hero Black and the elf Lan Lock, who plotted to destroy Hogwarts, died together, which is a major event recorded in the history of Hogwarts."

"After that incident, Professors Weasley and Figo dug up the completely destroyed underground ruins as much as they could, and found a purple crystal. At that time, the crystals were not as thick as they are now, and the figures inside could be faintly seen. ”

Dumbledore glanced at Snape, who was still a little incredulous, and then smiled at Ash and said:

"They're convinced it's you, and think you should have used some kind of magic at the last minute to keep yourself alive by Ranlock's powerful magic, and that sooner or later you'll wake up someday. Since then, they have transferred the crystal to this room and have been silently guarding it ever since. ”

After a pause, Dumbledore said with some emotion in his tone:

"It's a pity that they never waited for you to wake up."

The two professors had been waiting for Ash to wake up, but it wasn't until today, a hundred years later, that Ash Black finally woke up from his 'slumber'.
