Chapter 3: Harley· Potter
Hogwarts, inside the Headmaster's office.
Dumbledore put down his quill pen and handed a letter he had just written to Ash on the other side, smiling kindly:
"It's yours, Mr. Black."
Then Dumbledore looked at Snape as he stood aside:
"Professor Snape, could you please take our Mr. Black to Diagon Alley to buy the items on the list?"
Snape met Dumbledore's gaze and said silently:
"Okay."
"Mr. Black."
Dumbledore smiled and said to Ash:
"Please follow Professor Snape for a while, he'll take care of everything for you."
Ash and Snape, who had received Dumbledore's promise, left the Headmaster's office, and Snape said in a stiff tone:
"Let's go over with Floo powder."
Ash looked at Professor Snape's somewhat impersonal attitude and asked thoughtfully:
"Professor Snape, has anyone ever said you resemble a person?"
"Who?" Snape asked.
Ash recalled:
"Aesop Sharp, who was also the Potions professor at Hogwarts, you are like him...... Well, seriously. ”
"I know him."
Snape still looked unkind, and said in a cold tone:
"There are many professors at Hogwarts, but there are not many who can leave their names and deeds, and Professor Sharp is one of them. Some of the potions he invented are still used today, and he was involved in the war to defend Hogwarts a hundred years ago, as mentioned in Hogwarts: A School History. ”
After a pause, Snape continued, "But I don't think anyone thinks I'm much like Professor Sharp. ”
"That's right, after all, it's been more than a hundred years."
Ash nodded approvingly, but soon fell silent, and sighed softly:
"It seems that the impact of that war on the history of Hogwarts is not small."
Snape looked at Ash, who seemed to be a little depressed, and was also silent.
He knew that Ash seemed to have a misunderstanding, and Ash thought that it was because of the long time interval that no one would say that he was similar to Professor Sharp.
But in fact, that's only because of the huge disparity in their status, Professor Sharp was the hero who once defended Hogwarts, and he ......
Snape stopped, and in front of him was the fireplace connected to Floo's network.
Snape grabbed a handful of Floo powder and handed the remaining connecting bag to Ash in a serious tone:
"Now, Mr. Black, I hope you'll remember, it's Diagon Alley, not Tumbledown Alley, not a word can be wrong!"
After speaking, he demonstrated to Ash a little, sprinkled a handful of Floo powder, and said in a straight voice:
"Diagon Alley."
Ash knew what Diagon Alley was and wouldn't mind a trip to Tumbledown Alley, he did need to buy something from there. But now, under Dumbledore's watch, he wasn't fit to make some out-of-the-ordinary moves, at least for a short time.
Therefore, Ash did not deliberately make a mistake, sprinkled Floo powder, and said 'Diagon Alley' in a proper manner.
-----------------
Diagon Alley, Lady Morkin's robes specialty store.
"Ahh
The girl, who was waiting to try on clothes, was startled by the sudden appearance of the figure in the fireplace, and took two steps back in surprise.
Ash stepped out of the fireplace and greeted the girl who had been startled by him with a kind smile:
"Hello, I was randomly teleported, but I'm sorry if it scares you."
The girl with eyes as bright as emerald hurriedly waved her hand and whispered:
"No, it's okay, it's me who is too nervous."
She looked at the silver-haired boy in front of her who was dressed in a magician's clothes, and asked with some curiosity:
"Did you just use magic?"
Ash patiently explained:
"Strictly speaking, it's a magical item called 'Floo Powder'. Just shout out the corresponding destination and sprinkle a handful of Floo powder to teleport between the fireplaces connected to the Floo network. ”
When the girl heard Ash's explanation, she felt that the clouds and mountains were foggy, and the strong shame made the girl's delicate face flush a little. Although she could understand every word, the combination made her completely incomprehensible, which made her feel a little ashamed.
Seeing the girl's embarrassment, Ash smiled and comforted:
"It doesn't matter if you don't understand, you're not a wizard after all, and you'll slowly get in touch with these in the future."
After a pause, Ash continued:
"But I'd rather you wouldn't touch it."
"Why?" The girl asked cautiously.
Ash patted his clothes, and a large amount of soot filled the air, making the girl on the side subconsciously cover her mouth and nose, and Ash shrugged her shoulders:
"As you can see, it's not very decent, especially for a lady."
"I'd recommend using Phantom Shifter or Portkey, of course, the former is dangerous, so I'd recommend that you use it until you're proficient."
The girl took Ash's suggestion to heart, and said with gratitude from the bottom of her heart:
"Thank you."
After thinking about it, the girl hurriedly added:
"My name is Harley, Harry Potter."
Her voice was low, both because she was shy and afraid of being heard by others. At the Leaky Cauldron, the wizards were excited when they heard her name. Although it is a good thing to be popular, she actually rejects such enthusiasm in her heart, and is afraid that she will be watched by others again.
"Huh?"
Although Ash already knew her name when talking to the girl.
But when he heard the girl's self-introduction, he still pretended to be surprised and looked at the girl's appearance carefully—long reddish-brown and almost black hair, a delicate and beautiful face like a doll, and green eyes that were as crystal as jewels.
So, this is really the mother-in-law Harley Potter.
The thought flashed through Ash's mind, and he quickly showed a proper and generous smile, and smiled:
"I'm Ash Black, you can call me Ash."
"Okay, Ash." The girl's face was flushed, and she was a little excited, happy that she had made her first friend in the wizarding world.
Mrs. Morkin greeted with a smile:
"It's your turn, dear."
When Harley heard the greeting, she hurriedly ran in the direction of Mrs. Morkin, not wanting to trouble others.
Ash followed suit and looked at Lady Morkin, a stocky witch with a smile and a purple dress.
The girl with long blond hair jumped down from the footstool, she was tall and slender in a black robe, her skin was surprisingly white, and she passed by the red-faced Harley, and walked gracefully towards Ash.
The girl's delicate countenance and confident smile asked in an arrogant tone:
"Hey, you're a Slytherin student?"
She looked at the symbol of the Snake Courtyard on Ash's clothes, and her eyes sparkled.
Facing the arrogant girl, Ash still smiled and said softly:
"Not yet, I'm a freshman like you."
"Kassandra Malfoy." The girl's demeanor was still haughty, but she took the initiative to reach out to Ash.
Ash's eyes became more and more subtle, Hallie + Kassandra, belong to yes.
Bad news: Stitch Monster.
Good news: it's all sewn.
For a moment, Ash didn't know whether to be happy or even happier.
Well, it's subtle.
