Chapter Seventy-One: I'm Allergic to Mango
Draco froze, staring at the moonlit figure, completely oblivious to the person next to him.
Gently, a large hand was placed on his shoulder.
"Malfoy, what are you doing here?"
Behind Draco, a cat's face emerges from the shadows, like the Cheshire cat grinning in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
His body immediately trembled like chaff, and cold sweat involuntarily broke out from his forehead.
At the same time, after the troll's wailing subsided, some hurried footsteps became so clear. Moments later, Professor McGonagall emerged from the other side of the hallway, followed by Filch and Dumbledore pacing slowly.
"What the hell are you guys up to!" Professor McGonagall scolded, her voice chilling with rage. There was a worry in his eyes that was difficult to hide.
"Why don't you stay in the break room!"
Seeing Professor McGonagall's angry appearance, Draco couldn't help but be glad that Professor McGonagall hadn't noticed him at this point.
The next moment, however, that happiness was gone.
Snape walked over from this side of the hallway, and at a glance he and Munn were spotted.
"It seems that there are more than one or two unruly guys." His tone was lifeless.
The tip of Muen's nose twitched, and he smelled a smell of blood on him. It's not the smell of blood from trolls, it's human.
He still has some experience in this area, and he doesn't think he smelled it wrong.
"Jones, I think you can give him to me." Snape fainted.
"Of course." Muen gave Draco to Snape, and the group walked towards the group.
Over there, Professor McGonagall had just figured out where Harry and Hermione were, and was relieved to see them again.
Snape nodded imperceptibly at Dumbledore, signaling that everything was okay.
"Oh, it looks like there's more going on tonight than we thought." Dumbledore smiled softly, and with a flick of his wand, it cleaned Harry of blood.
"Tell me, Mr. Malfoy, why are you here?" Dumbledore looked at Draco.
"I wanted to remind Harry." Draco shrugged, he felt like he had done nothing wrong, so his expression was as calm as possible.
"I saw him walk out of the auditorium, and he didn't know anything about trolls in the first place, so I came to him."
Hearing this, the faces of the teachers present were a little better.
"Commendable act, Slytherin plus three points, for your courage." Professor McGonagall nodded, she had never favored anyone in the House.
Draco didn't know what expression to use in response to the bonus, and he let out two heavy breaths, an awkward smile on his face.
"Alright, I think you should go to the infirmary, Miss Granger seems to be on her foot. On Potter's side, I think I should go for a check-up as well. If that's all right, you can go back to the lounge for Halloween dinner. ”
"I'll take them there." Muen stepped forward and said.
Professor McGonagall nodded, "That's right, I think I'll have to go to the break room to see if there are any kids out there." ”
As she spoke, she smiled at the children and turned to leave.
After Professor McGonagall left, Snape followed suit, leaving with Draco.
Just as Muen was about to leave with the two children, Dumbledore suddenly turned around: "Muen." ”
"Anything else?" Muen turned his head.
"I don't know if I will have time in a while, I'll wait for you on the fourth floor."
Mu En looked at his face that hid everything, was silent for a moment, and then nodded: "Okay." ”
On the way to the infirmary, both children were pale, silent, and had their hair disheveled.
"What are you thinking?" Mu En asked.
Actually, he could probably guess what Harry was thinking, and honestly, it was normal to have that thought, after all, the guy looked too much like a human.
When his head was sliced off, his abdomen was dissected, and the stench, warm blood rushed to his face, no child could keep his composure.
It can be compared to a monkey being killed and mutilated, although it is not human, it is too similar, and the impact on people is very strong.
"I... I don't know. Harry hesitated, looking at his hands, Dumbledore's cleansing charm had removed most of the blood from his body, much better than his. After all, he tried, but it didn't work, and the trolls had a high resistance to blood magic.
But even when he cleaned up, he still felt like his hands were bloodshot.
"We... Killed a life. Hermione said that she was in very poor shape, and her limp foot seemed to be completely less important than the distraction in her mind.
"I'm sorry, but everybody has to get some blood on their hands, always. At this moment, I can't think of any rhetoric that can help you get around this barrier in your heart.
But perhaps, you have successfully protected your own and each other's lives, and it is 10,000 times better to be stained with the blood of the enemy than to be stained with relatives and friends. Mu En could only be helpless.
When she arrived at the infirmary, Madam Pomfrey, though she said that nothing was wrong, insisted that Hermione must stay here for one night.
"Alright, I have to leave. That's right, this one is for you. Muen handed Hermione a shamrock badge.
"Mr. Jones, I can't ask for it." Hermione didn't know why Muen wanted to give her something for no reason.
"I promised Chris to take care of you, but I still didn't do it, I'm really guilty." Mu En said.
"No, it's just a stumbling foot..."
"Maybe if you take it, I won't feel guilty." Mu En smiled.
"Uh... Well, thank you. Hermione had to take the green amulet.
"Then I'll leave first." Muen turned and spoke, then looked at Quirrell on the other side. Even though he was lying in a hospital bed, he didn't remove the purple scarf from his head, I really don't know how Madam Pomfrey allowed it...
"You don't seem to want to go back." After Munn left, Harry said.
Hermione was stunned, then nodded slightly, her voice a little low: "I don't get along with my classmates so well. ”
"Is it because of me?" Harry said suddenly, "Because you made friends with Slytherin. ”
"No, it's not." Hermione hurriedly said, but she couldn't fool Harry, she wasn't the kind of old oilman like Snape and Dumbledore who were very good at hiding.
At that moment, another voice sounded outside the infirmary.
"Just for a moment, okay? Please. ”
"Well, it's only five minutes." Madam Pomfrey was helpless.
After a while, a probe appeared with red hair and a freckled face. Harry immediately recognized it as Ron Weasley. Fred and George's younger brother.
He had some food in his hands and looked embarrassed. He looked at Hermione, "Professor McGonagall said you were hurt..."
"No, just minor injuries that don't matter." Hermione said, "What are you doing here?" ”
"I want to apologize." Ron was serious and embarrassed: "Sorry, if it wasn't for what I said in Charms class. I... I'm going too far, you're just trying to teach me... I'm really sorry. Especially after Professor McGonagall said you were hurt..."
"You're right." Hermione interrupted him, and she said seriously:
"I do have a problem, and I'm going to fix my bad habit of pointing fingers. As for apologies, you don't have to worry too much about them. ”
Ron breathed a sigh of relief and took out the food in his hand: "I brought some mango pudding, you haven't eaten yet." ”
Hermione looked embarrassed: "No, thank you for your kindness, but I don't eat mangoes, I'm allergic to mangoes." ”
"Okay." The expression on Ron's face became even more embarrassed, and he had to leave in a hurry.
Hermione looked at Harry and said, "So... It's just that I had some conflicts with my classmates. It doesn't matter who I'm friends with, I don't care if they say theirs, and they don't care!! ”
