Chapter 79: A Strange New Neighbor

After a brief silence, Jamie took the initiative to break the deadlock.

"Don't you even ask me why I know about this?"

Dan shrugged with a wry smile.

"Is it important to ask about this now?"

Jamie nodded approvingly.

"Okay, so let's talk about something else, Rufus and Jenny are all okay lately?"

Dan jerked his head up and was about to ask Jamie what he wanted to do, when he suddenly realized that he was overreacting.

How could Jamie threaten him with his family?

Although he believes in Jamie's character, Dan is still a little disturbed by this incident.

"Let's talk about the gossip queen, since you knew my identity a long time ago-"

"Just guessing." Jamie corrected immediately.

At the same time, he also emphasized that although he was suspicious before, he did not intend to explore the truth, and it was not until something happened recently that he had to be sure of it.

Dan was smart and immediately understood that Jamie needed his help.

"So, what do you want me to do?"

"Cut out all the revelations that Ivy Chowrena, Rebecca and Blair broke out."

Jamie looked at Dan with a sincere expression.

"I'm just asking for help as a friend, even if you refuse, I won't threaten you with anything, such as exposing that you are a gossip diva."

Dan believed Jamie's words, but he shook his head firmly.

"I'll go back and delete all the revelations you said, but are you sure that's enough?"

"I mean everybody already knows about these things, even if I delete them from my blog, I can find any Constance student to find out about them."

Jamie pats Dan on the shoulder and tells him not to worry.

Jamie asked Dan to delete the revelations on his blog, just as a precaution.

If something does happen, find another way to deal with it.

After happily reaching an agreement, the two continued to walk deeper into the park.

During this time, Jamie asked Dan if he had been thinking about creating new works recently.

Dan hesitated, but finally didn't say anything about his plan to write a film based on Jamie.

Especially when Jamie just asked him for help, and talking about it at this time feels like he is making a deal.

The two continued to walk forward for some distance before returning the same way they came, deciding to separate at the intersection where they had first met.

Jamie again offered Dan an invitation to sit in the penthouse, and Dan unsurprisingly declined again.

This time, though, Dan gave a clear reason.

He didn't want to watch Jamie and Serena show affection and sprinkle dog food in front of him.

Arriving at the intersection, Dan is about to wave goodbye to Jamie.

At this time, I suddenly received a text message on my phone.

Jamie quipped that this is how Dan leaked.

Every time he receives a text message, he will always find an excuse to leave for a while, and soon after he returns, everyone will receive the news of the gossip queen.

Dan knew that he was definitely not so exposed, but he also told Jamie that he would pay more attention in the future.

As you speak, pick up your phone and tap on the text message.

After seeing the photo sent by the other party, Dan's face changed instantly.

Closing the phone, Dan immediately tells Jamie that he has an urgent matter to deal with.

Jamie wanted to ask Dan what was going on, but after thinking about it, he thought that asking Dan would misunderstand, so he made a phone call gesture to Dan and called him whenever he needed to.

Dan nodded and turned to leave.

Jamie also turned and walked in the direction of the Hampshire building.

He hadn't taken two steps before Dan suddenly caught up.

He changed his mind and now wants to ask Jamie for help.

Without waiting for Jamie to ask what was going on, Dan handed over the phone.

After looking at the photo on his phone, Jamie looked up in some surprise.

Jenny actually got a boyfriend, and she was photographed kissing on the street.

At first, Jamie thought Dan was struggling with whether to post the revelation on the gossip diva's blog, or whether to tell Rufus about it.

Dan, however, said something that Jamie didn't expect.

"I know Jenny too well, and this photo was 100% deliberately taken by her."

Jamie picked up Dan's phone again and re-looked at the photo.

It's true that the angle is a bit less like a candid street shot, because the camera is too close.

Take pictures at this distance, and you will be 100% found.

"Does Jenny know you're a gossip diva?"

Dan shook his head in denial, but he immediately said:

"Jenny has always wanted to be like Serena and Blair on the gossip divas, thinking that this will get more attention for herself in school."

Jamie handed the phone back to Dan.

"Are you going to break the news on the gossip diva blog?"

Dan would have wanted to emphasize loudly that Jenny was his sister.

But when the words came to his lips, he suddenly reacted.

Jenny is family and Jamie is friend.

At the beginning, the gossip queen never hesitated when she broke the news of Jamie's various gossip, but now the gossip involves her sister and it doesn't explode, which inevitably seems too double-standard.

"I don't want Jenny to know that I'm the gossip queen just yet, and I'm struggling to tell Rufus about it right now."

Jamie suggests to Dan.

"You can find out the identity of Jenny's boyfriend first, and then tell Rufus, lest you don't know anything, and he will only be more worried."

Dan nodded and turned to leave.

Jamie returned to the Hampshire penthouse to change his shoes in the foyer when Serena came over with a laptop in her arms.

"You and Dan both received text messages from gossip queens, right? Dan's sister is in love, but I think this boy is very raw, he should not be a student of Constance. ”

Jamie doesn't tell Serena that Dan is the gossip queen.

He was just a little curious why his girlfriend suddenly cared about other people's gossip.

"Because the gossip queen solicited clues from everyone at the end of the breaking text message, this is the first time this has happened since this blog was established."

Jamie thinks Dan is in a bit of a hurry.

But it really works.

As soon as Jamie and Serena finished their discussion on the topic, Jamie received a text message from Dan on his phone.

Jenny's boyfriend's identity was found.

The other party's name is Mike Jones, and he is from King Chris High School.

Seeing this text message, Jamie's first reaction was to think of Collins.

Jenny and Collins are classmates, and Collins' older brother, Big Michael, the adopted son of the Taussies, was recruited by King Chris High School some time ago and became the main player of the high school basketball team.

Jenny might know the boys from King Chris's High School, only possibly through the Taussy family.

Jamie dialed Collins' phone, and before he could speak, the other party preemptively complained:

"I'm guessing you're going to ask Jenny about her boyfriend, right?"

"Looks like someone has already got ahead of me."

"That's right, I just answered Dan's call, and I didn't introduce Michael Jones to Jenny, in fact, I just received the news from the gossip queen and only found out that they were together."

Collins' words succeeded in arousing Jamie's curiosity.

"You know that Mike Jones?"

"If you have a new neighbor next door, a handsome, charismatic husband who is a great golf instructor and a sexy and beautiful wife, and you can't imagine her age without crow's feet in the corners of her eyes. Two children, the girl has completely inherited the good genes of her mother, dresses fashionably, is the focus of attention everywhere she goes, and the boy is sunny and cheerful, and he can be seen using the latest and coolest electronic gadgets at any time. ”

"It's very difficult for such a family that looks perfect in every way, to live next door to you, even if you don't want to know them."

Jamie was keenly aware of the helplessness in Collins' tone on the other end of the phone.

"So you don't really like them?"

"I don't hate them, I just occasionally think that their family is a little unreal, and that feeling is like seeing those stars in newspapers and magazines, they are packaged in layers, so that you can always see only the most glamorous side."

Hearing Collins say this, Jamie also felt that this Jones family was a little strange.

It's not strange that a person always wears a mask, but it's a bit puzzling that the whole family is like this.

"Did you talk to Jenny about your thoughts on the Jones family?"

Jamie continued.

"I was going to talk to her for a while, but I don't think she would listen. Most importantly, I don't want to upset Jenny about this. ”

Collins on the other end of the phone was somewhat helpless.

Although she thinks the Jones family is a little strange, if she uses this as a reason to persuade Jenny to take a serious look at the relationship, it is unlikely that Jenny will think that she is jealous or deliberately trying to make trouble.

It's not that Jenny is in love, but Mike Jones is the perfect boyfriend in every way.

Even Collins himself had to admit this.

But because of this, Collins felt that Mike and Jenny had some ulterior motives together.

On the phone, she didn't hide her opinion from Jamie.

"Although I didn't attend King Chris High School, I went with my family to see Michael Jr.'s two training sessions, and I also came into contact with some King Chris High School students, especially girls."

"Compared to some of the girls at King Chris's High School who are very good in all aspects, to be honest, Jenny is not particularly outstanding."

"Not to mention that Mike also has a beautiful sister, who also attends King Chris High School, and was successfully selected as a school cheerleader as soon as he entered the school, all the boys I know like Mike, they are very picky when it comes to choosing girlfriends, unless they just want to have fun with that girl."

Hearing this, Jamie was suddenly a little glad that Collins had only told him these words.

If Dan knew that Mike just wanted to have fun with Jenny, he would probably rush to King Chris High School and punch that guy right away.
