Chapter Twenty-Three: The Valley of the Seven Days

Shi Niang gently took the door and went out.

I calmed down and opened the Kunlun immortal book "Tao Te Ching":

General Chapter

The Tao can be constant, very constant;

The name can be a constant name, a very permanent name.

Deke Hengde, very Hengde;

Balance can be constant, very constant.

Nameless, the beginning of heaven and earth;

Famous for name, the mother of all things.

Balance without balance, the beginning of respect;

There is balance and balance, the father of all ways.

Chapter I

……

These are all four-word poems, which are catchy to read, but easy to remember.

I opened the Tao Te Ching I bought, which is what the master called the Han Dynasty Wang Bi Annotated Edition, or the Translated Edition.

Chapter I

The Tao is very good, and it is very good. The name is famous, and the name is not very famous.

The beginning of the nameless heaven and earth, the mother of all things.

Therefore, there is always nothing, and I want to see its wonders;

Often, I want to see it.

These two have the same name and the same name, and they are the same mysteries.

Mysterious and mysterious, the door of all wonders.

……

Wang Bi did not have a general chapter, but he merged the general chapter and the first chapter into one, so that the righteousness was not as clear as the original.

The general chapter of Xianben puts forward the four concepts of "Tao Ming Deheng",

The relationship between these four is the soul and general outline of the entire Tao Te Ching.

With a general outline, the outline is outlined. The next 81 chapters are all about the relationship and broad derivation of these four.

The immortal book also proposed: nameless, the beginning of heaven and earth; Famous for name, the mother of all things. Balance without balance, the beginning of respect; There is balance and balance, the father of all ways.

And Wang Biben is only translated as:

The beginning of the nameless heaven and earth, the mother of all things.

And the "beginning of honorable virtue" and "the father of all ways" were directly cut in half and castrated.

It seems inexplicable: there is a beginning but no beginning; There is a mother but no father.

This is not in line with the thinking of the ancients and the thinking of the whole harmony,

The ancients believed that there is yin and yang between heaven and earth, there is a beginning and an end, and there is a father and a mother.

Wang Bi also directly castrated the subtle relationship between the "subtleties and subtleties" of the Tao in the first chapter as "Therefore, there is always nothing, and you want to see its wonderful; ”

It's just miserable! castrated Lao Tzu's magnificent philosophical thoughts into shriveled eunuch thinking.

I was immediately fascinated by Senmoto.

There is no harm without comparison, and there is no depth without comparison.

One is a towering mountain, and the other is a low, undulating mound.

One is a soup soup like the sea, and the other is a lake that is not alarmed.

This immortal book has more than 8,000 words, and before I knew it, I read through it three times.

Then I put aside Wang Bi's annotated version, the Han Dynasty translation, but it was condescending and obscure.

You see that we read the poems in the Book of Songs compiled by Confucius in the pre-Qin period:

Guan Guan Ju Dove, in the river island.

My Fair Lady, Gentleman.

……

The peach is dying, scorching its glory.

The son is home, and it is appropriate for him to live in his room.

……

Four words and one sentence, catchy, plain and concise.

Except that some words are no longer used, and they are not so difficult to read.

Reading and reading, I picked up my pen again and began to copy.

Sure enough, Shi Niang's method is very good, and you can recite it after copying it once or twice.

Unconsciously, the rooster crowed from the bottom of the mountain, and the sky was about to brighten.

And I was able to recite the first fifty chapters, but my brain was excited, and there was no trace of sleepiness.

Suddenly, I saw three copper coins on the table, which was another assignment given to me by the master.

As I recited it, I carefully touched the three copper coins in my hand.

These three copper coins are all Xianfeng heavy treasures, and the back is when fifty and two Manchu texts.

The thickness and depth of the strokes on these three copper coins are different.

The degree of wear and tear of them is not the same as the patina of the money.

One is black. One is green, the other is earthy yellow.

They also have different calibers and different sizes, some square holes have burrs that are sharper, some square holes seem to have bruises, and one has burrs, but it is more sleek.

I took them in my mouth and licked them, one of them was bland and tasteless, one was a little sour, and one was a little bitter.

I'm going to throw them into the air, and they jingle as they fall, but the sound is different.

Some are dull, some are crisp, and some are sharp.

I pondered them over and over again, carefully identified them, and could see the difference between them when I closed my eyes.

I touch them with my fingertips and can feel their different breaths.

Money has warmth and spirituality.

The sky was also bright.

The master and the lady have already risen. The master is boxing, and the master is meditating.

I walked out of the room and looked at the master and the master in the morning mist, what a fairy couple!

One movement and one stillness, one moves like a dragon, and the other is as quiet as a virgin.

After the master finished punching, he bent his knees and stood on the pile, and he said loudly: "You carry it, I'll listen." ”

I cleared my throat. He recited it aloud.

The Tao can be constant, very constant;

The name can be a constant name, a very permanent name.

Deke Hengde, very Hengde;

Balance can be constant, very constant.

…………

I kept reciting it aloud, and when I memorized more than 30 chapters, my mother also put away and meditated, and looked at the master.

When I stopped reciting the fifty chapters, the master also put away the standing pile, and he said coldly: "Just memorize so much? Looks like you don't have anything to eat for breakfast. ”

He walked up to him with his hands behind his back: "Bring me the copper coin, and tell me about their differences."

I took out the three bronze coins and carefully described their shapes, the words, the rust color, the weight, the sound, the smell, and the smell of the square holes.

The master remained silent: "Then you tell me which of them is real and who is fake?"

I really couldn't tell if it was real or not, so I put it in front of my nose and sniffed it, took out one of them and said, "This should be true."

The master asked, "Why?"

I said, "Because it has the breath of a human and nothing else."

The master asked, "Can you smell people?"

"Actually, I felt it." I say.

The master nodded: "Let the master cook you a bowl of soup, it seems that the rice is still a bowl of soup that you have not eaten but is rewarded."

I smiled wryly.

The soup brought by Shi Niang was nine steamed and nine dried yellow essence, black dates, hawthorn, and tangerine peel soup.

It's sweet and sour, and it's delicious.

Shi Niang smiled: "Your master is not punishing you, this is a stomach cleansing and intestinal soup."

"Stomach cleansing soup?" I asked, confused.

Shi Niang said: "Yes, you must remove the residue in your stomach and the feces in your intestines, and give your body a big cleaning."

"Oh. Why? I asked.

Shi Niang said, "From today onwards, you will have to open the valley for seven days."

I asked, "What is Bigu?"

Shi Niang said: "Bigu is not to eat staple food for seven days, but to drink some prepared soup, while cleansing the stomach and intestines, while replenishing energy and conditioning the body."

I said, "I am hungry without a meal, and I have not eaten for seven days, so I will not faint from hunger?"

Shi Niang smiled: "I have prepared a pill for you, take one when you can't stand it." I was really hungry, and there were raw peanuts on the table, which you could peel and eat.

"You can't eat too much at a time, you can only eat seven."

I said, "Seven?" The stomach is empty, and it hurts! ”

Shi Niang said, "In three days, I will teach you how to eat qi."

It turns out that you can still eat gas? It seems that the Heavenly Doctor is really different, and it is very mysterious!
