Chapter 34 The bald monk is bald, and the beggar on crutches wants to sell the abduction
The spring waterfall trickles clean, and the mountain flowers fly in haze;
At the white cloud round, it should be the most human.
The fairy things on Wangwu Mountain are not finished for a few days and nights, but the fairy things have always been ethereal, and a few people can really see them, but in the real history, Wangwu Mountain belonged to the land of Gyeonggi in the third dynasty of the Xia and Shang dynasties, and the original city under Wangwu Mountain was the capital of the Xia Dynasty. The people who have lived here for generations have long since remembered the distant stories, and they are still small and ordinary among the living beings.
Li Bai, who is free and uninhibited by nature, has forgotten the unhappiness with those green-robed monks, and is full of intoxication between the fairy mountain market, but he doesn't want these monks to bite him instead, don't say anything about the "out of phase and in phase" of the Taoist monks, this is the true nature of the villain, the leper dog, it seems that a handful of age, profound Buddhism has been cultivated to the dog.
Li Bai naturally won't be angry with this, when he was young, he was the master who drew his sword when he didn't agree with him, killing one person in ten steps, and not leaving a line for thousands of miles. How chic, although he is a little older now, and his blood has been polished a lot milder by the kitsch of the drill camp in the palace, he will not suffer from the nest of these bald donkeys. At that moment, he had an idea in his heart, and after preparing his words, he smiled, moved a few steps towards several monks, first said hello, then touched his stomach, looked at the big monk led by him and asked:
"Master Dharma is profound, but what can you see in my belly?"
The monk knew that Li Bai was extraordinary, and he was not as weird as his disciples, and he saw that he was doing Taoist etiquette, and he couldn't help muttering in his heart, could it be that this person was a monk on Wangwu Mountain, so he couldn't afford to offend, he complied with the abbot's decree on this trip, and came to the balcony palace with a heavy treasure to discuss an important matter. Immediately replied to the Buddha salute:
"Xianggong's eyes are wise and extraordinary, and he is naturally full of articles!"
Li Bai already had a teasing heart, so naturally he didn't buy the monk's flattery, he shook his head slightly, and replied:
"No, no."
The monk was a little puzzled, and he couldn't understand Li Bai's temperament for a while, so he had to ask again tentatively:
"But what are the internal organs?"
Li Bai still shook his head:
"Not either!"
The monk will really be made into the second high, I really can't guess what the other party's answer is, and the four disciples will also be full of confusion, and the attributes of the embroidered straw bag can be seen at a glance. The green-robed monk thought for a long time, but finally didn't answer.
Li Bai smiled slightly, touched his stomach again, and opened his mouth to say the answer:
"It's not a secret, I just happened to pretend to be a belly monk. If you don't believe it, there is a bald head hanging outside, can the master take a look? β
After saying this, he also deliberately twisted his waist and swung his hips. The monk is even more blindsided now, how can it be involved in us? What does it mean to have a belly monk? What does it mean to have a bald head hanging outside? Several monks were puzzled, and the crowd watching the excitement on the boat was as confused as if they had been put into a sack.
Others don't understand, but Du Fu Gao Shi understands it very well. As soon as Li Bai's words came out, he couldn't have guessed that Li Bai would use this kind of vulgar and scolding words in the countryside so vaguely and wisely, and he wanted to laugh heartily, and felt insulting. This kind of obscene talk, or they passed by a village road last month, and accidentally heard a village widow and people scolding the street, I didn't expect Brother Taibai to be really agile, this can be borrowed to live and learn, this bald head and other bald head, bald head to bald head, this scolding monk does not have dirty words, worthy of Brother Li, it is really clever!
As smart as Emperor Li Longji, at first glance he is also confused, bald? Where did the bald head come from, still hanging outside? Gao Shi was not bold enough to break it for the emperor, so he could only hold back his laughter and let the emperor guess. The emperor and Gao Lishi both guessed for a long time, and the other people in the court were also panicked, they saw that the very interested Son of Heaven suddenly had a puzzled face, and whispered to Gao Lishi, thinking that the emperor had changed his hexagram again, thinking of something important, and was undecided, could it be that An Lushan was coming? Suffer!
Li Longji and Gao Lishi didn't know what these people were worried about, and they were still guessing what the bald head meant. To say that he is worthy of being an emperor, Li Longji combined the words and Li Bai's twisted waist and hips, and finally guessed the answer. As soon as he figured out the answer to the ridiculous world, the emperor couldn't hold back, and the wine he drank in his mouth splashed out directly, and at the moment, regardless of the surprised eyes of the Manchu Dynasty's civil and military forces, he threw the Tianjia posture aside first, slapped the table and laughed, laughing and scolding:
"Okay, you Li Twelve, bastard, and hang your bald head outside, you should hang one for me to see! Hahaha, wonderful, bald head to bald donkey, wonderful, wonderful......"
Gao Shi was really shocked by the emperor's laughter and scolding, but the emperor can laugh in this hall, he can't, let alone the emperor in front of him, even if it is the stupid emperor of the Western Jin Dynasty who pees his pants in the court, he doesn't dare to trespass openly as a courtier.
The emperor easily controlled his mood, waved his hand and asked Gao Shi to continue, he still wanted to see how many moths this Li Twelve could make. Gao Shi was more sure of the emperor's preference for Li Bai in his heart, and he was more cautious in telling it at the moment.
Although the monks didn't understand the meaning of Li Bai's words for a while, just looking at Li Bai's expression and the way his two companions held their faces the color of pig liver, it was not difficult to guess that the man with the sword was definitely not saying good things. It's just that I don't have enough brains and can't figure out the key. Fortunately, he didn't figure it out, if he understood Li Bai's words of comparing him to that, he was afraid that he would burst out and bite people on the spot.
Wu didn't dare to come, Wen couldn't come, a few monks were in a dilemma, so they had to pretend to be confused, anyway, there were more confused people on the whole boat. The river, which is a few feet wide, could have been crossed, but because of the clumsiness of the boat, the undercurrent in the river is surging, and it is necessary to swim several miles and make a half-circle to reach the opposite bank. The green-robed monk suffered a secret loss, in order to save some face, he did his old job, and he talked about the truth on this boat again, but this time it was not Buddhism, but the story of the Chu people carving a boat to seek a sword.
This story is about a man in the state of Chu who crossed the river by boat during the Warring States period. When the boat arrived in the center of the river, the Chu people accidentally slipped the sword he was carrying into the river, and he hurriedly reached out to grab it, but unfortunately it was too late, and the sword had already fallen into the river.
The people on the boat felt very sorry for this, but the Chu man seemed to be confident, and immediately took out a small knife, carved a mark on the side of the ship, and said to everyone: "This is the place where the sword fell into the water, so I will engrave a mark." β
No one understood why he had done this, and when the ship docked, the Nachu people immediately went into the water in the place where the mark was engraved on the ship to retrieve the fallen sword. The Chu people fished for a long time, but they never saw the shadow of the sword. He thought it was strange, and said to himself, "Didn't my sword fall from here?" I've engraved a mark here, how can I not find it now? β
The story told by the monk is from "LΓΌ's Spring and Autumn? Cha Jin", the same boat is basically the common people, few have read the book, let alone heard this story, listening to the monk say this, those people have discussed, laughing at the Chu man is so confused, the boat has been moving, and his sword has sunk to the bottom of the water, will not move with the ship, how can he find his sword! After the great monk finished telling this story, he began to habitually preach the Fa, warning his disciples that they should not be rigid in their work, rigid and inflexible, and should synchronize their vision with the development and changes of the objective world.
Just when everyone was quietly listening to the great monk's lecture and recalling the story of the Chu man carving a boat and asking for a sword, there was a burst of laughter from the corner of the cabin. Everyone turned their heads to look, and it turned out to be a crippled man in tattered clothes sitting on the ground laughing. The lame man looked hungry, with his head unkempt and his face dirty, but his belly was lame, and he had a huge gourd in his hand, and behind him he leaned on a purple cane, which he couldn't see what it was made of, and the whole person was really not very pleasant, and he would smirk like a madman, and the onlookers would stay away from him, lest they get into any inexplicable trouble. The lame man didn't care about the opinions of the people around him, he looked at Li Bai for a while, looked at the green-robed monk for a while, and looked down at his crotch for a while, laughing madly, tears flowing, and he looked really terrifying!
The young monk who ridiculed Li Bai just now couldn't bear it, first the teahouse was ridiculed by Li Bai, and then he was teased by dumb riddles when he got on the boat, which would even dare to make fun of a despicable Huazi, Li Bai and a few people they can't afford to provoke, I can't afford to provoke you stinky cripple looking for death, let you know today, the Buddha is also on fire. At that moment, the young monk shouted:
"Oh, that cripple, you're laughing so much!"
When everyone heard the roar of the Buddha Gate Vajra, they only felt that their eardrums were rumbling, their blood was boiling, their heads were dizzy, and even their breathing seemed to have been cut off.
The lame man laughed for a while, feeling embarrassed, after all, he had just guessed the meaning of Li Bai's "bald head". It's not that he doesn't have enough mind, but a character like him, although he has no choice but to walk the world with this skin, but which one of the people he makes friends with on weekdays is not a hermit master, and such a rude remark is also due to his cleverness, and he will figure it out after a while. If you think about it, you will naturally laugh, and this laugh will be misunderstood, but after all, he is a master in the world, so naturally he can't open this mystery in person, although it is indeed inappropriate for him to laugh, but the young monk's scolding also makes him unhappy. At that moment, he touched his crutches, stood up, looked up at the monk with his back hunched, and replied:
"Naturally, I'm laughing at those stupid and ridiculous people!"
As soon as these words came out, the monk immediately became even more angry, and even Li Bai and the others couldn't help but look at the peculiar lame. Through the look of the lame man, Li Bai knew that this person should have guessed his own puzzle, although this person's appearance was really bad, but his talent was really quick, and he planned to take refuge at the moment, after all, this matter was also caused by him.
"I wonder who that stupid and ridiculous person you call is?"
The young monk took a few steps forward, approached the lame man, his eyes widened angrily, and he looked like a demon slaying King Kong, and viciously questioned the lame man in front of him!
But the lame man was not in a hurry, and he leaned on the hull of the boat and did not get up, and he did not know whether it was because of the inconvenience of his legs or disdain, so he replied without sorrow or joy:
"Naturally, those who laugh at the Chu people!"
The lame man spoke in a calm tone, naturally. The fierce aura of King Kong was invisibly dissolved, and the people in the entire cabin felt that the surroundings were at peace, and the qi and blood that had been roared by the young monk just now were smoothed out. Even those monks unconsciously lost their anger, but were dragged by the other party's qi and asked, as if asking for advice:
"I wonder why you laugh at those who understand?"
The sword will only sink to the bottom when it falls into the water, this is the common sense of life that three-year-old babies understand, the boat is far away, and it is really stupid and ridiculous to look for the sword that has already fallen under the boat. If the ship is stationary and the sword sinks to the bottom, it is not possible to find the sword if you engrave a mark on the place where the ship fell and go into the water to find the sword. The objective fact that the sword sank to the bottom of the water and did not move, but the ship kept moving, was not reflected in the minds of the Chu people, and he thought that where the sword fell, it could be retrieved from there. With such a clear truth, who else understands it and can't understand it!
Although everyone on the boat was pulled by this lame man's qi machine, their minds were still online, and the thinking and understanding of the Chu people obviously did not conform to objective reality, which was abnormal, could it be that in the eyes of this lame man, the Chu people were right? Is it feasible to carve a boat for a sword?
"This benefactor, does Your Excellency think that the Chu people's act of carving a boat to ask for a sword is right, and the principles of our world are wrong?"
"That's not necessarily, the Chu people can't get the sword by carving the boat. In the old man's opinion, it may not be the wrong method, and the negligence of the salvage person is unknown! β
After all, the great monk has profound skills, and because of the secret treasure of Buddhism, he slowly self-regulated for a while, and has recovered most of his consciousness, and is no longer affected by the traction of the lame man's qi, after hearing such absurd words of the lame, he opened his mouth and sneered:
"The madman is crazy, the reason why the sword sinks into the water is the avenue of heaven and earth, how can it be distorted by opening the river. Don't be the way of the world! β
When the lame man heard this, he turned his head to look at the green-robed monk, and suddenly his eyes flashed, he was slightly surprised, paused for a while, and said slowly:
"I look at the avenue, where the sword is lost, it can be retrieved from where, the car is like this, and the boat is like this!"
The great monk listened to this pure nonsense, but was amused, as the supervisor of the first Huguo Temple of the Tang Dynasty, his status is noble, how can he be so concerned with a lowly beggar today, it is really unseemly, he has no interest in arguing at the moment, he collected his mind, and silently recited Amitabha Buddha in his heart!
The big monk didn't speak, and the little monk rushed to say:
"It's so clear that you don't know it, it's really sad!"
The lame man was not annoyed when he heard this, and continued to answer:
"My avenue has always been like this, if you don't accept it, you dare to gamble!"
As soon as these words came out, the onlookers became interested, and there was excitement to see who didn't love it. The monk looked at the cripple with disdain, as far as he was dressed, what valuable things could he have on him, as for the ragged clothes, he was disgusted when he gave them away, and he gambled with him.
The lame man ignored the disdainful gaze of the monks, he first picked up his crutches, held the cabin with one hand, and slowly stood up, he looked at himself down the mountain, habitually touched his waist, did not want to touch the air, and then laughed at himself, and then looked at the crutches under his arm, and felt that it was not good, so he reached out and tinkered with it in his arms for a while. Everyone watched him fumble around, waiting to see what good treasure he could hide, and they didn't want the beggar to take out a few pieces of loose gold and spread them in his palm, no less than four or five taels in one palm.
When the onlookers saw so much money at first glance, they all gasped. How could such a ragged and crippled man be so rich, it was gold, even Li Bai and the others were surprised, although they had some net worth, but it was impossible to take out four or five taels of gold for a while. The wealth is moving, and there are many people on the ship who have bad intentions, and those monks are also bright-eyed, staring at the gold for a long time! For a while, there was silence on the ship again.
Jiang Feng woke everyone up, and the great monk also stabilized his mind, although his status was respected, but in the end it was just a prison, and he only made a pound or two of gold all year round. With his eyesight, he could naturally see that it was real gold, and at the moment, his eyes were spinning, and he was thinking about what good way he could come up with to get this money into his own hands, he thought about it for a while, and there were!
"I wonder how this benefactor wants to gamble?"
As soon as Li Bai heard that this monk had agreed to make this bet, he had despised him to the extreme, and he was arrogant and pretended to be forgivable, but gambling as a monk was itself a breaking of the vows, not to mention that this monk was obviously going for the lame man's gold, and he was about to stop it immediately, but before he could speak, the lame man took the monk's words.
"Since the master said that the boat can't ask for a sword, and I said that the boat can't get a sword, seeing is believing, just on this boat, according to the gourd to draw a scoop, make a mark on the hull, and then throw a sword down according to the mark, and wait for the shore to send someone to salvage, if you can't catch the sword, the master wins, if you get the sword, my old beggar wins, I don't know how this gambling method is?"
The great monk couldn't help but be stunned when he heard this, he originally wanted to use some kind of scheme, but he had never been so lame and drowsy, and handed over the pillow, which was to give him gold for nothing! Could it be that this person was arranged by the Bodhisattva to help him! He was afraid that the lame man would repent, so he hurriedly agreed:
"The donor's gambling method is very wonderful, fair and reasonable, everyone can see the win or loss at a glance, but it can't be faked, and it can't be relied on!"
This monk agreed to this bet, and squeezed the lame man with words, and the whole boat of people watched, if you want to lose, it's not good to cheat, you really don't admit it, and the whole boat doesn't agree!
The monk was happy, but Li Bai and the three were anxious, how could this person on crutches be so confused, carving a boat to ask for a sword, the little baby knew the result, how could such a quick mind person make such a mistake. They had a heart to help, but they didn't know where to start, Li Bai, Du Fu, and Gao Shi talked in a low voice, praying to come up with a way to turn around. But let the talents of the three of them shine on the entire Tang Dynasty, but they really can't think of a good way to break the game. Now that the two sides have reached a consensus, and with the whole ship of people testifying, they really can't think of any good way for a while. We can't let this crutchee suffer a catastrophe because of them, so that he will lose all that gold in vain!
Just when Li Bai and the others were racking their brains, the lame man spoke again:
"Since it's a bet, I don't know what the master's bet is? It can't be less than the old beggar's four or five taels of yellow things! I don't want to do a loss-making deal! β
This can stump the great monk, in his opinion, he will win this bet, those few taels of gold is already in his pocket, but he forgot that the bet is to bargaining chips, and he made a mistake at the moment. Yes, if you can't come up with something of equal value, you can't continue this bet. But for a while, where did he raise so much money, he first touched his body, and then looked at the apprentices, these four bastards looked at each other, they must not be able to knock out things, and there were accompanying gifts, but the value alone was really not as good as four or five taels of gold, how good is this, that is a lot of money! My money!
Just when the monk scratched his ears and cheeks, the lame man spoke again, and said in an unfathomable way:
"Gold and silver jewelry, gold and silver jewelry, the world says that pearls and white pearls are good, but my Li lame man has never had the opportunity to see it! It's a pity! β
When the monk heard this, he became enlightened. Yes, pearls, he carried five pearls on this trip, this pearl was originally given to the balcony palace by the abbot as a gift, although it is valuable, but for the gold, he borrowed it first, anyway, he will definitely win this bet, and the pearl is also there, and he got such a large amount of money for nothing, why not do it! After the green-robed monk made up his mind, he looked at the cripple and became a Bodhisattva, no, more like a good wealth boy under the Bodhisattva's seat! At that moment, he reached into his arms, took out a purse of Shu brocade, did not open it, and said slowly:
"This benefactor, the poor monk's bag is the treasure pearl that people in the world are eager to see, and the price of those few taels of yellow things is only a lot more, I don't know if it can be used as a bet?"
The lame man didn't seem to have enough eyes, and he didn't ask to open the bag to inspect the goods, but waved his hand very open-mindedly and smiled:
"The master is a Buddhist monk, above board, and he will still keep the precept of the words if he wants to! You said that there are pearls in the brocade of Shu, and I, the lame man, believe that you are pearls. β
The great monk couldn't help but sneer in his heart when he heard the other party's words, but he had a lovely smile on his face, and he even pronounced the Buddha name in his mouth:
"Amitabha! Amitabha! The donor's house is kind-hearted, and the poor monk admires! β
At this point, Li Bai and the three of them stopped talking and discussing, but they all calmed down, and slowly felt that today's incident seemed a little weird. The man on crutches on the boat seems to be reckless and stupid, but he can guess Li Bai's riddle in a moment, and now he is so calm and calm when he answers the words with this green-robed monk, with a posture of victory, at first glance, he is definitely not an ordinary secular person, but the dirt on his outfit and hands and face is no different from the beggars in the market, which really makes the three great talents in the world incomprehensible?
Could it be that Kezhou can really ask for a sword?
