10. From psychology to philosophy

All the most profound things in the world are always sad and happy, sad and happy, sad and joyful, and sad and joyful, which is obviously the supreme philosophical proposition. Psychological aesthetics provides a promise for this philosophical proposition, but it is not the end itself, but the end is still philosophy. Swiss psychologist Carl Jung (Ca. Jung

g) In "Analytical Psychology and the Art of Poetry", it was said that psychology cannot solve the essential problem of literature. This is a psychologist, confessing that psychology is not the end. Each end has its own destination, and philosophy points out the essential problem of the world, which can be regarded as one of the ends. Of course, the end of literature must be the sensual form. A return to the essence of sensibility, an image that has fused the essence, this is art.

Now that we have reached such a height of thinking, we can take a closer look at the so-called "drama" in general. "Drama" refers to the ordinary situation of neither sadness nor joy, and does not necessarily refer to the type of drama.

If, according to the previous psychological analysis, tragedy corresponds to the upward mentality of human beings, and comedy corresponds to the downward mentality of human beings, then the main drama corresponds to the level-headed mentality of human beings.

The level-eyed mentality is based on the ordinary judgment of life, that is, the clothing, food, housing, transportation, morning and twilight that have been washed away from special colors and strong emotions. For Maeterlinck, the ordinary was the main object of art, but many great artists soon overtook him, believing that if the ordinary was to be aesthetically significant, it had to have a deep latent meaning. In other words, it seems that there are no special colors and strong emotions, but in fact, several special colors constitute a confrontational balance, and several strong emotions complete the hedging balance of power. It seems ordinary, but it is infinitely unusual.

Therefore, the so-called drama should not only depict the ordinary state of matter, but should be the state of tranquility after hard negotiation and run-in of the abnormal state of matter, such as the ancient Chinese saying "still water flows deep", which contains amazing strength. This understanding elevates everyday life to a philosophical level.

It is a pity that the works we often see, whether they pursue looking up, looking down, or looking up, always follow the habitual psychological pattern, and rarely have a rebellious connotation. Even if there is interlacing and transformation, it is often only interlaced and transformed, and there is little internal quenching and casting. As a result, the profundity is gone, the essence is gone, and the philosophy is gone.

Most of these mediocre works are due to the creator's inert prediction of the audience's psychology, which hinders the exploration of the essence of life.
