In August 1996, when I bought "Chongqing Eighteen Monsters" edited by the supplement department of "Chongqing Morning Post", I fell in love with this book that was very close to life.

It's been more than 6 years, and it's been 8 years since the "Chongqing Morning Post" published this book, which may be a coincidence with the Yangzhou Eight Monsters, so I suddenly turned out this "Chongqing Eighteen Monsters" that has been well preserved when I was sorting out the bookshelf.

From the publication of this book to the present, I am looking at the eighteen monsters of Chongqing at that time, thinking about how fast life and time really are, and in a blink of an eye, unimaginable changes are taking place around us, and the previous eighteen monsters are still the same around us?

With such a mood, in recent times, the author has deliberately discovered and observed the changes around me and our Chongqing, so I have this text, through the changes and maintenance of the eighteen monsters, to take a look at our new Chongqing, the new humanities.
