Chapter 4: The Banquet
Following Gaia, the Earth Mother, Ryan walked towards a sacred mountain in the middle of the continent.
The heavens and the earth are different now than they were before. With the sun, with celestial bodies, with a variety of weather, Kaos is more like a real world.
Perhaps because walking on the 'essence' of Gaia's birth, Ryan did not feel the distance.
Under the leadership of the other party, he can cross thousands of rivers and mountains in one step.
Although there were neither "ten thousand waters" nor "a thousand mountains" at this time, the heirs of the mountain gods of Uria and the gods of the three thousand seas had not yet been born, and the land was still desolate.
It was probably less than half a day, and soon, Mount Kinabalu was in sight.
"His Highness Ryan."
Since Ryan agreed to come, Gaia has become preoccupied along the way.
It wasn't until she came to the place of the Nativity not long ago that she finally spoke.
"This is where the God-King will rule the world in the future."
Gaia looks at the towering Odils Mountain, where her third son, Uria, was born.
"This is the highest mountain on earth, the closest to the sky."
"My King will deign to reign over all beings on earth as Lord of the Heavens."
"That's a great feat."
Ryan expressed reverence for this, but his tone seemed to have already known: "As the first god-king in the world, there is only such a place that can match the authority of the Heavenly Father. ”
"Yes," Gaia frowned, but said nevertheless:
"He will rule over all things in the world forever."
Obviously, at this time, the Heavenly Father and the Earth Mother were still in love, and there was not even a trace of the swords and soldiers in the later generations.
"Let's go, under the influence of the birth of my twelve children, this place is full of chaotic divine power."
"Please follow me so that nothing bad happens."
Nodding slightly, Ryan was as good as a stream, as if he didn't feel the subtle change in Mother Earth's attitude.
He followed Gaia, and the two began to climb towards Mount Kinaba.
As the perennial residence of Mother Earth, Mount Kinabalu is not like the bare earth of mountains and rocks outside, and the original vegetation has spread here.
Along the way, Ryan saw a lot of strange flowers and fruits that he couldn't name, which were newly born creations under the priesthood of [plants].
Perhaps in a few years, with the help of the god of weather, the vegetation here will spread all over the world, adding a touch of green to the desolate land.
But that's all for the future. Soon, under Gaia's leadership, Ryan came to the top of the sacred mountain.
"We're here." Mother Earth stopped and said to Ryan behind her.
Nodding slightly, Ryan stepped forward and took in the appearance.
The summit of Mount Kinabalu is open and flat, and there is no trace of any man-made structure. Compared to the mythical Olympus of later generations, it looks like a deserted mountain.
However, Ryan was not surprised, after all, to the Lord of the Sky, the sky itself was his palace.
Stepping on the top of the sacred mountain, while Ryan observed the environment, thirteen gods of different shapes also set their eyes on him.
Even though no one used divine powers, Ryan was still a little unwell.
There is no way, the primordial gods do not know how to restrain their breath, and being close to them is an oppression in itself.
"Your Majesty."
Stopping to look, Ryan bent down slightly, paying homage to the male god in the middle.
It wasn't the first time he'd seen Ouranos.
Unlike the last time we met, he was a tall and majestic middle-aged man.
This is the result of the combination of patriarchy and the throne of the god-king. It is common knowledge among the gods that the appearance of the gods changes according to authority and also changes according to power.
Faced with the audience of the strange gods, the twelve Titans were a little puzzled, after all, they felt the weakness of Lane's divine power.
They asked their father, waiting for his next attitude.
Then they saw their majestic father with his hands stretched out to the gods in front of them, welcoming him without hesitation.
"I'm glad you're here, honorable prophet, god of prophecy."
Ouranos' voice was wild and powerful, a perfect match for his priesthood.
"Until today, I didn't expect you to really see fate, please forgive me for misunderstanding this before."
"Please take a seat, Your Highness Lane, you deserve to be at the same table with us."
"My pleasure."
Facing the different gazes of the fourteen gods, Ryan chose a place to sit down at the top of the mountain.
It was a birthday feast and a feast to celebrate Ouranos becoming a god-king.
When twelve new gods are born, he is automatically crowned by the world.
With the arrival of the people, the fruits of the plants on the mountain were captured by Gaia and used as a meal for this banquet.
The God-King sat in the center, and the others were on either side, except for Mother Earth sitting beside him.
When the feast begins, Heavenly Father spends most of his time speaking to his newborn child, except for the occasional few words with Lane.
He told his children about his thoughts, how they could honor him as a father, and how they could help him fulfill his duties as god-king.
Perhaps due to the influence of patriarchy, his twelve children were silent, just blindly responding to the God-King's request.
'Tastes good. ’
Tasting an unknown purple fruit, Ryan watched it all.
He knew what he was invited for, and he had his own ideas about it. But until then, he just wants to eat two more fruits.
After all, the plants on the sacred mountain today are the originators of their kind, and they are the first batch of the Kaos world.
These fruits also have a great effect on the gods. At least for Ryan, they could help him reach the limit allowed by the priesthood sooner.
Time flies, and to God, they don't care about the passage of time.
When the sun passed through the sky for the third time, Ouranos finally ceased his admonition.
He turned to look at Ryan, who was sitting next to him, the god who had prophesied the birth of his 12 offspring.
Although until now he didn't quite understand how such a weak divine power could glimpse fate. But since that's the case, he doesn't mind asking him some questions.
Especially the other party's remarks at the bottom of the mountain, he heard it clearly.
Raising his glass, three days later, Ouranos spoke to Ryan again.
"His Highness Ryan."
"Before that, when we first met, you prophesied the birth of my twelve children."
"Destiny is truly powerful," said the Father in a loud voice, "and only a wise god like you can perceive its destined trajectory." ”
"The fate is in the hands of the Night Lady." Ryan smiled and raised his glass, bumped into Ouranos, and drank it down.
"I've only seen part of it by chance."
It's not wine, it's just the juice of plants, but it's still delicious under the power of the gods.
"Then Dear Highness Ryan, I have a question for you."
Ouranos didn't care about Ryan's humility, he seemed to be just curious about the power of prophecy: "I hope you can use the power of prophecy to tell me." ”
"In Kaos, in the future of this world, I am not the eternal god-king, ruling over the sky, the earth, and the sea."
The banquet seemed to suddenly fall silent. The Twelve Titans looked at Ryan with strange eyes, Mother Earth's eyes full of worry.
Faced with Ouranos's seemingly unintentional inquiry, Ryan smiled slightly.
Instead of rushing to answer, he put down his cup and explained the essence of all the prophecies.
