Chapter 92: Discussion

Eastern part of the continent, near Delphi.

Unlike other places, it has been peaceful and peaceful for thousands of years, without any outside interference.

As a place of ointment in the eastern part of the continent, under the unconscious influence of the Earth Mother and the Golden Apple Tree, no harm can be approached here, and nothing bad can happen here.

Mankind in the Golden Age spent a wonderful life here. From birth to death, they had no sorrows, and nothing in life could bother them except the sacrifice to the gods.

But with the passing of the Golden Humans, their successors have not been treated equally.

The Silver Human, born out of the Earth Mother's resentment against the God King, and from the Lord of Darkness's covetousness of the Spirit Realm. They are born with all kinds of negative emotions, and even the gods are not respected and worshiped by them.

As a result, these inherently evil humans were only briefly noticed when they were first created, and then quickly rejected by all the gods.

In the hearts of the gods, their existence is not even comparable to that of their unintelligent contemporaries—all kinds of beasts have been taken to various parts of the continent by many gods, and gradually multiplied, except for the silver humans.

No god is interested in these negativity humans, and Mother Earth swept them away on the day she created them. Even Prometheus, who had compassion in his heart, abandoned him after spending some time with the silver humans.

It is ridiculous that the gods of foresight, who have taught them some knowledge, have a bad reputation among the human race. This is probably the embodiment of the other side of human nature, greed, lack of kindness, and not daring to reprimand the strong, but blaming the existence of showing good intentions.

In short, the Silver Humans were expelled from Delphi. More than once, they looked at the place where they were born, remembered the beauty there, and then fought with each other for a little benefit.

Lies, deception, conspiracy, killing, in the process, a special class system was gradually born among the silver human race. It is not uncommon for superiors to have absolute dominion over subordinates, while it is not uncommon for subordinates to overcome superiors.

However, with the outbreak of the Divine War, even for the sake of survival, humans were forced to put aside their struggles with each other. They work together to reduce the amount of time individuals spend outside and pray that nothing will happen from heaven.

Of course, the fighting has not been eliminated, it has just taken on another form.

··········

"These. of the gods! ”

At the foot of a mountain thousands of miles from Delphi, Asmodeus watched in horror at the streamer that crossed the sky.

Over the years, the gods have fought on the earth. At first, they were restrained, but in recent years, even the vicinity of Mother Earth's residence has gradually become a battlefield.

They did not dare to set foot on the great plains, but they were not afraid to fight around them. Nearly half of the Silver Humans were affected and died, and even so, Asmodeus only dared to utter those disrespectful words in his heart when he saw the gods.

This is not a special case among the Silver Humans, but because Asmodeus has witnessed firsthand how his superiors are crushed into powder.

Of course, his ascension also depends on this.

Fearing power but not virtue, the silver human beings are vividly embodied in this regard. So from then on, at least the force of the gods taught Asmodeus to shut up.

"I don't know if the people who went out to look for food this time will be able to return safely."

"If I can't, I'll have to find a way to get some from someone else."

Silently pondering, as one of the 'leaders' of this group of silver humans, although this position could be overthrown at any time, Asmodeus could temporarily relieve himself of the toil of finding food and work.

Unlike the Gold Humans, for the Silver Humans, working is one of the last things they want to do, and if possible, they just want to sit back and enjoy it.

Of course, if you can't do it, then it's okay to get things through deception and plunder.

"It's been eight years, Asmodeus, and I don't know when the end will be, can't these gods stop?"

Without the slightest respect, not far from Asmodeus, another silver human was also a little annoyed.

"I want to too, but alas, they won't listen to me."

With a sneer, Asmodeus sneered, "Why don't you try it?" Mephistopheles, maybe you can 'convince' a few gods to do something for you. ”

"Forget it, I'm confident in my words, but only if they give me a chance to speak."

Shrugging his shoulders, the man known as Mephistopheles said lightly. Although it was a refusal, but looking at the meaning of his words, if he was given a chance to talk, he really wanted to try to see if he could convince one or two gods.

I don't know if it's out of self-confidence or arrogance.

In other words, success is self-confidence, and failure is arrogance.

"Speaking of which, although I don't know what these gods are called or where they come from, they should be divided into two sides."

"In the beginning, the gods near the west had the upper hand. But now, it seems that the eastern ones are a little more advantageous. ”

"Maybe when one of them wins, we won't have to worry about disaster from the sky."

Looking at the direction in which the previous streamer disappeared, Mephistopheles guessed.

Sometimes, he could hear the spirits talking. From his words, he learned that the two gods were fighting for the position of 'god-king'.

One of them was the original god-king, and the other was called Olympus.

"Perhaps, but maybe worse."

Unlike Mephistopheles, Asmodeus is pessimistic.

"Maybe when one of them wins, they'll remember us and kill us outright, after all, we don't meet their requirements at all, do we?"

"Damn, I'd like to at least act like a devout, but for some reason, I can't do that."

A little annoyed, Asmodeus felt that there was always something in his spirit that was affecting him. Evil does not mean stupidity, he still knows how to remain humble in front of the strong, but unfortunately, under the influence of such unknown forces, it is always difficult for him to control his emotions.

"I've been out of the way for a long time. Oh, created by God, but cast aside. I guess we must have some other uses that are different from gold for humans. ”

Shaking his head, Mephistopheles understood the other party very well, and he also knew the feeling of this emotion being affected, but he thought that it probably came from the influence of the gods.

Once Prometheus told them the story of the Golden Man. The gods had hoped to make a difference to the Silver Humans, but Mephistopheles heard something else.

Human character can be shaped, and since golden humans have been shaped, there's no reason why they don't.

Further, since the gods have the ability to shape their personalities, but they are still the same as they are now, there must be a reason.

If it is valuable, it will not be easily killed, this is the conclusion reached by Mephistopheles all the way to backstabbing his superiors. So for a moment, he was not worried about humans being slaughtered by the gods.

At the very least, he can know what he was created for, and then see if there is a chance to resist.

Zheng –

A clear sound instantly interrupted the conversation between the two. There was no communication, and almost immediately, the two 'leaders' of the silver human race lay on the ground together.

The next moment, the earth shook. A wave of air came from afar, swept through half of the camp, and then slammed straight into the high mountain not far away, shaking down the earth and dust.

Thankfully, the mountain did not collapse in the end.

"Ahem—"

In the smoke, Asmodeus coughed twice, then hurriedly stopped. He rolled on the spot and pressed his right hand to his waist.

The next moment, where he had stood, a stone knife was sticking there.

"The response is pretty fast."

With a casual compliment, Mephistopheles acted as if nothing had happened. He stepped forward and picked up the stone knife, then looked at the chaotic camp in the distance.

"Ahem, of course, otherwise I wouldn't be alive today."

With a soft cough again, Asmodeus got up from the ground as if nothing had happened.

"Maybe the earth is not suitable for us, maybe the silver humans are inherently unable to coexist with the life on the earth."

"There is no need to coexist."

Shaking her head, Mephistopheles opened her arms as if embracing the world.

"How beautiful, such a wonderful world, why should we share it with others?"

"Let's all die, or make them all listen to us, that's enough, isn't it."
