Chapter 80: The second Dumbledore
Cyrus breathed greedily into the humid air of the chamber.
To be honest, the smell wasn't that pleasant, and the smell in the air was like it had rotted for a thousand years. But for Sellers now, it's the smell of life itself!
He "enjoyed" it for about a minute, during which time he did nothing, not even conjuring up a proper outfit for himself. Soon, though, he woke up from his slumber.
Those who travel a hundred miles are half ninety, and now is not the time to celebrate.
He conjured up a dress for himself, exactly like what Riddle had worn fifty years ago, and pulled out a map of the living spots from Ginny's pocket.
On the map, Minerva McGonagall walked to the door of the bathroom, and after a brief pause, she left in a hurry.
Sellers imagined the stern governess's panicked expression when she saw the words on the wall, flustered and helpless as she spread the news to the ears of all the professors and students, and then prepared to close the school.
Maybe she'll try to contact Dumbledore as well?
But anyway, Dumbledore's name doesn't appear in the castle yet.
When he thought of Dumbledore, Cyrus had a bad feeling in his heart, this old man had put too much pressure on him, and Cyrus was always worried that there would be an accident.
The good news is that you can't go wrong with a live map.
"I remember in the books Dumbledore returning to the castle during the time Harry was on his way to the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe I'll still have time to get my hands on that cloak. ”
The Grim Reaper's Cloak of Invisibility may seem to be a little less powerful than the other two Deathly Hallows, but it's still a treasure. What made Sellers care more was the legend that the man who owned the three Deathly Hallows was tantamount to controlling death.
The only person who owns all three of these treasures is Harry Potter in the books, and in reality, he did come back from the dead, coming back to reality from King's Cross of the Soul.
What if you also collected three Deathly Hallows?
It so happened that Cyrus knew the location of the three artifacts and knew how to obtain them.
Without much hesitation, he immediately turned around and spoke to the Slantherin statue, "Speak to me, Slytherin, the greatest of the Hogwarts Four." ”
Slytherin's massive stone face moved, its mouth opening wider and wider, eventually forming a massive black hole.
Something moves in the statue's mouth. Something slid up from the depths of the statue.
A huge basilisk, green all over, glowing with the brilliant light peculiar to a venomous snake, with a body as thick as the trunk of an oak tree. It stretched its upper half into the air, its large flat head scurrying around the pillars of stone, as if it were drunk.
Eventually, the basilisk slowly swam up to Cyrus and waited for his orders.
"You're a little too big, it's better to be smaller." Cyrus pressed his wand against the basilisk's body and cast a masterful shrinking charm. The huge basilisk immediately turned into a small snake only the thickness of a finger under his magic, and then went down his arm, hiding in the sleeve of Cyrus's coat.
Then, Cyrus left the chamber. As he walked down the hallway, Magna's voice, amplified many times by magic, began to echo through the castle:
All the students immediately returned to their dormitories in their respective colleges. All teachers return to the staff lounge. Act now. ”
The students bustled out, and Sellers disappeared into the crowd at once, following everyone towards the tower at the corner of the eighth floor. The students were panicked and uneasy.
"Fred, George, do you know what's going on?" Li pushed through the crowd, and he seemed to be being carried forward in the waves.
"What else could it be?" The twins shook their shoulders at the same time.
Cyrus followed them into the Gryffindor tower, and Percy and one of the prefects began to count the number of people, mainly the number of female students. It's just that the more he counts behind, the paler his face becomes.
Ginny was gone.
Cyrus walked into the men's dormitory, found Harry Potter's bed, and quickly got the cloak. It's so easy that it's a little dreamy. He immediately put on his cloak of invisibility and left the tower.
As it began to darken, Sellers passed by the mirror on the fifth floor, past the statue of the One-Eyed Witch on the fourth floor, walked out of the castle gates, picked a few mandrake leaves as he passed by the greenhouse, and finally came to the vicinity of the beating willow.
From here, you can see the castle and the Black Lake, and the castle glows in the golden sunset.
However, the light of the fire will soon fade away, and eventually everything will be enveloped in darkness.
Cyrus slowly walked in front of Beater Willow and tapped his wand at the scar before Beater Willow spotted him. The irascible willow tree immediately fell silent.
In this way, Cyrus put on his invisibility cloak and leaned against the trunk of a tree, looking down at the traces of traffic on the map of the living spots by the last embers of dusk.
He saw the faculty split up in the faculty break room, each going to their own office or college. Professor McGonagall led the three Weasleys to her office in the Gryffindor common room, but the Headmaster's office was still empty, and Dumbledore's name had not yet appeared anywhere.
Dumbledore hadn't returned yet, but Harry and Ron were already on the move.
They found Lockhart, and the three of them stayed in the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom for a long time, and eventually Lockhart was forced to follow them to the bathroom.
Then, they disappeared from the map of the living spots.
Nearly half an hour later, Dumbledore's name appeared in Professor McGonagall's office along with Molly Weasley and Arthur Weasley.
Sellers jerked to his feet, breathing a little heavily.
Dumbledore appeared, and as in the original books, he appeared in the school, and the beating willow was the furthest escape route from him. Hogwarts cannot use Apparition, and Fawkes will be sent by him to help Harry. By the time Dumbledore found out that something was wrong and looked for him again, Cyrus had already fled.
"It's time to leave! Goodbye, Dumbledore—"
The sun has completely set.
The dark blue sky shone with a few not-so-bright stars, and Sellers grabbed the trunk of the tree with one hand and jumped lightly into the hidden cave under the willow tree.
He had walked for a long time, and the tunnel began to slope upwards, and after a while, after turning a corner, a little light came in, and he knew at once that he was about to reach the exit.
It was a messy, gray room. The wallpaper was peeling, the floor was stained, the furniture was all broken, as if it had been smashed, and the windows were sealed with wooden boards.
The Screaming Shack, a transformation place specially prepared by Hogwarts for Lupin, has been considered a terrifying haunted house by wizards for more than a decade, and is theoretically the safest place. But it doesn't seem to be the case tonight—
Under the invisibility cloak, Cyrus's face turned pale, and he looked at the white-bearded old man standing by the window with the moonlight on his back in horror.
It's Dumbledore!
'But how did Dumbledore end up here?' ’
Cyrus hurriedly looked down at the map again, on the map, in Professor McGonagall's office, Dumbledore's name was still glaring!
Dumbledore, two?
