Chapter 187: Master of Quiet Stirring
When I saw an old house, my sister happily jumped on me again, and I laughed too.
Thanks to God's grace, I found this place so quickly.
I thought that this master lived alone, but now I found out that there is not only one person here.
But it doesn't matter how many people there are, as long as he's here.
We walked briskly down the path to the entrance of the house.
Before we could speak, the bald head sweeping the floor saw us.
He walked towards us with a puzzled look on his face and made a Buddhist salute:
"Hello two donors, do you have any advice?"
Is this bald head a monk?
However, instead of wearing a monk's uniform, he wore a white T-shirt and a pair of black sweatpants.
Even though I had some doubts in my heart, my senior sister and I respectfully returned the salute.
"Hello little master, my name is Liu Dagger, this is my senior sister Wen Jing, let's come to find a senior, I have Gu poison in my body, and I need the senior's help to solve the Gu."
"Antidote?"
The monk said suspiciously, and then asked:
"May I ask what is the name of the senior Liu Shi is looking for, and the poor monk will go and report it."
"I'm sorry, I just heard a friend introduce that senior in the mountains, and I didn't know the senior's name. Could it be that there are still many seniors in this mansion who know Gu arts? ”
I asked respectfully.
The monk smiled and said:
"There are three seniors, but I don't know if I know Gu art or not, we live in seclusion here, self-cultivation, the three masters and uncles don't ask about the world now, Liu Shi mainly doesn't know who he is looking for, and the poor monks are a little difficult to introduce, because now there are two uncles who are still in retreat."
"That little master, it's getting late, can we borrow your land to stay overnight."
Senior Sister suddenly said with a smile.
I looked up at the sun that had not yet climbed overhead, and I was speechless for a while.
The little monk must have been in the same mood as me, he just smiled awkwardly, and then said:
"Yes, since the two donors need to stay overnight, and there are no guests here recently, a vacant room can be provided for the two donors to stay overnight, but we need to charge some nominal fees here."
"No problem,"
As she spoke, the senior sister walked into the courtyard generously, and I said to the little master:
"Thank you, little master, please lead the way, let's go and settle the luggage first."
"Okay, donor, please come with me."
The little monk performed another Buddhist ceremony, but his dress matched these movements, which really made me feel a little awkward.
Buddhism treats people with honesty and treats people with the Dharma, which gives people confidence, hope, and joy. When getting along with the Buddhist family, there is always an indescribable comfort.
After entering the room, the senior sister said:
"Senior brother, you won't blame me, will you?"
I smiled, I know what my sister means.
What she said was about living here, but in fact, my sister didn't bring it up, and I also had this plan.
Since there are two masters in retreat, we must not disturb them.
In this case, let's stay here and wait for the master to come out.
Even if I don't have a place to live, I'll pitch a tent outside and wait, and I can't give up halfway after spending so much effort to get here.
I didn't pay much attention to the fact that I didn't have much longevity.
It's a blessing or a curse, it's a curse that can't be avoided.
Of course, I certainly don't give up on promising things.
At lunchtime, we met all the people here.
Except for the two masters who are still in retreat.
They are very hospitable to guests, and they are very polite in their words and deeds, which can't help but make me and my sister, two people who are used to being wild, a little restrained.
But they don't care about any of our actions, and for them, they can accept all the mundane things of the world.
There were six people in this old mansion, and two masters were in retreat.
The young monk who took us was called "Qingzang", and there were two other monks of the same age as him, one named "Qingla" and the other "Qingyin".
The master of Qingzang is a Jingzi generation, called "Jingxu".
The other two retreat masters are called "Meditation Stirring" and the other is "Meditation Marks".
Jing Ji is the master of laziness, and Jing Ji is the master of seclusion.
Their names sounded a little surprising to me.
In my concept, the static character generation and the Qing character generation seem to be some very high names.
For example, the presiding officer of the Big Buddha Temple is called Jingru, and the Minister of Education of the Buddhist Association is from the Qing generation, called Qingyuan.
I don't know how the Buddhist Dharma name is determined.
But I always felt that the monks here had some background, but when they explained it to me later, I was relieved.
They devote themselves to cultivating Buddhism and do not care about world affairs, but only seek to achieve positive results, eliminate bad karma for a lifetime, and form a good karma for a lifetime.
They believe that everyone is born with the sins of a past life.
If we don't make good karma and accumulate merit, this kind of sin will be magnified as this life ends.
Thus in reincarnation, one life is not as good as the other.
They came here to cultivate because they wanted to use this life to pay off the sins of the previous life and seek stability in the future life.
Therefore, their Dharma names are all pure and quiet.
The Dharma is so profound that I can't get a glimpse of it.
But I don't agree with them.
People live a lifetime, and pure cultivation is just a belief or a habit of life.
If you spend your whole life in this hundred-foot land, where will you do good and accumulate virtue?
Even if there is virtue, it is only a small virtue.
Even if I have an objection in my heart, I will not say it.
Everyone has their own attitude and beliefs towards life, and there is no right or wrong, and there is no superiority or inferiority.
During the meal, I talked to Master Jingxu about the purpose of my trip.
He immediately said that his Jing Tu junior disciple had studied a little bit in Gu arts.
This made me very happy, the Buddhists were humble, and what he said with a little research must be a great achievement.
However, he also said that he was in retreat in Bigu, and he was afraid that he would have to wait until three days later to get out.
I immediately said it didn't matter, we could wait for the Master of Meditation for three days.
The exterior of this old house does not look like a Buddhist temple.
However, the old house is full of Buddhist things, they sacrifice incense to the Buddha every day, knock on the wooden fish at night and chant the scriptures, and there are many lessons in the morning, noon and evening every day.
There are also quite a few Buddha statues inside.
In fact, there is not much difference from those regular temples.
In addition to the big Buddha hall, there are six side rooms in the old house, each of the three masters lives in one, and the three little monks live in one room.
There are also two rooms that are used as spare.
According to Qingzang, they sometimes have some destined gold owners here to come and stay for a few days, cultivate their self-cultivation, and abstain from irritability.
They also received a certain amount of remuneration for the purchase of their seasonal clothes, firewood, rice, oil, salt, and worship offerings.
In addition to the six wings, there is a bunk, a toilet and a utility room.
Toilets and rooms are built separately.
and the two rooms and the room where the Buddha hall is located, plus the style of the courtyard gate, it is also a bit like the pattern of our previous Taoist temple.
However, the area here is much larger than our Taoist temple.
On the first night, Yu Bingqing came out and continued to go inside the umbrella.
She said that the smell of Buddhism in this place was too strong, and she was uncomfortable staying there.
We didn't care, the soul had a natural discomfort with the temple.
It's like a person can't breathe in the water, so Yu Bingqing can only stay in the umbrella.
During the three days we stayed here, my sister and I did not run around, but meditated and chanted with these masters, and offered sacrifices to the Buddha.
Strange to say, since I came here, my somewhat impetuous state of mind has gradually calmed down.
Senior sister too, I feel that after staying in the temple for three days, my whole personality has changed.
In the past, she was very arrogant, and occasionally she was a little petty, but now she is actually knowledgeable and soft-spoken.
There is even a feeling of Yu Bingqing.
On the third day, Master Jing Stirring went out.
It was a very kind-looking monk, about seventy years old.
Although the plain dress is not a monk's clothes, it actually feels like a monk's dress when worn on him, solemn and serious.
However, his personality is very approachable.
Sometimes you can even make a few jokes.
According to his senior brother, Master Jingxu, Master Jing Xuan was a Miao man, and he was a famous Gu master when he was in his forties.
He has used his Gu magic to heal many people.
Master Jing Tu frowned at the first sight of me, and before I could speak, he spoke:
"This benefactor, what is your identity and what kind of opponent have you provoked? How could someone be such a vicious Gu worm? ”
