Chapter 35: The Radiance
Photep
Magnus's Glorious Queen-class battleship, the flagship of the Legion of a Thousand Sons.
On top of it sits a private sanctuary.
It is a triangular pyramid made of polarized glass and gold.
The temple sparkled like a diamond half-buried in a battleship, hence the Radiance's name.
The air inside the temple is crisp and cool, a delicately conditioned piece of architectural art that does not require mechanical control.
The floor is made of black and white spiral crystals, spelled out in a spiral mosaic pattern.
Every floor here was carefully selected by Magnus himself from the caves beneath the city of Tizca.
Today, however, half of the temple belongs to Alexandria for the time being.
"The books come out first, and when you can read all the books on this wall, that's the first way to get started."
Magnus pointed to the wall of bookshelves, which were tens of meters high, and pulled out a book from the lowest level and handed it to Alexander.
The purpose of this temple was to allow Magnus to collect books on psionic abilities from the many planets he had conquered.
"No problem, in terms of academic knowledge, you have the final say."
Alexander now has enough mental power, and he will never struggle as much as he did when he first learned about mechanics.
But then again, did Castia sneak away?
Forget it, there will be a chance to find her in the future.
"You can trust me completely, no one knows psionic powers better than my father than I am."
Magnus is very interested in psionic knowledge.
He took out a book of unknown material and began to translate the words on it, which were originally like tadpoles, into many languages, and compiled them into a book with his own annotated understanding.
"Your daily job is to translate books from various civilizations?"
Alexander flew to his chair with the book in his arms, looking at Magnus's book, which was almost taller than himself, and watching him write high Gothic, low Gothic, and other words that he had never seen before.
Alexander really understood that what Magnus said was really not exaggerated, he really understood.
"It's just a form of entertainment."
Magnus was so immersed in the world of knowledge that he didn't even lift his head.
Alexander stopped for a few minutes and found that it was too esoteric to understand, and that he could not keep up with the speed of his writing even if he read through it.
He flew to the couch and began to flip through Magnus to help him select psionic books that looked like children's books.
The lights in the temple dimmed over time.
Magnus closed the book and inserted the translated book into the bookshelf where Alexander was studying.
"Let's go, when my father leaves, you will study here with me, and by the way, go find our brother."
This time on board the Radiance, Magnus just wanted Alexander to come here first to familiarize himself with the environment.
Later, they will also take the Thunderhawk fighter to the Imperial Dream.
At the moment Alexander does not have its own flagship, and Zero is just a framework.
During Alexander's time away from Terra, many Thunder Warriors who had returned to their home planet, Terra, from other galaxies, volunteered to answer the call.
Although more than 300 Thunder Warriors were transformed through the Emperor's laboratory, it was not enough to control a cruiser.
...
The current Emperor docks his fleet outside the Baal system.
He was waiting for St. Giles to lead the pure-bloods of the Bal to rule the Bal Moons.
In fact, the environment of Baal Main has always been an extremely dry desert world with frequent sandstorms.
There are basically no humans on the planet except for various mutants, mutants, and wild animals.
Its two moons, Bar-Prim and Bal-Secandus, are habitable to a certain extent, certainly by comparison.
However, the Empire currently classifies Balstar System 1 as a Savage World, the equivalent of a Death Star with no human habitation.
And St. Giles descended on one of these two moons, Bal-Secandus.
According to the Empire's sources, the Baal system may have had a major war as far back as the Dark Ages.
Viral weapons and nuclear weapons have completely destroyed the ecology of the Baal system, resulting in a surface filled with ultra-high levels of radiation fallout, chemical toxins, and deadly biological viruses.
The Bal have survived on a heavily polluted planet while facing hostile mutants, aliens, and terrifying monsters.
Saint Giles grew up in this environment, leading the last remaining pure-bloods of the Bal to banish the aliens and mutants who feed on humans and establish a peaceful human society.
The Emperor was in his laboratory observing the heir on the Baal Moon, who had died for himself.
Even if St. Giles had a bloody anger comparable to the blessing of terror, the emperor would give him full trust and help.
"How's it going, has St. Giles started speaking?"
Alexander pushed open the door to the lab, and the lost crown reappeared on top of his head in the right size.
"In twenty hours and seventeen minutes, I'll be able to pick up St. Giles and come back."
The Emperor withdrew his gaze and looked at Alexander, who was dressed in a plain linen robe.
"So is there anyone you need my help with now?"
Alexander had nothing to do, looking at various objects in the laboratory.
Juster is currently on vacation, and no one is pressing him to progress on his study plan for the time being.
The emperor looked at Alexander's wanton demeanor, and his face stiffened slightly.
You can't spend your own busy every day, what's the matter, everyone is the same, why can you be so relaxed.
"Now? Now you need to learn how to be a qualified 'God'. ”
The Emperor pushed open Alexander's private room, stuffed many books into it, and transmitted to him the graphic messages he had left behind while teaching Magnus.
At the same time, leave a small note with the study tasks to be completed in these twenty hours.
In this way, Alexander was carried into a small room by the emperor in a daze.
There was a click, and the door was locked.
Now that he had decided to establish a state religion for his ascension program, Alexander had to learn how to use the power of faith.
How to use psionic energy from a distance to cause the phenomenon of psionic manifestation.
and how to remove the stains of psionics in the subspace to ensure that they do not undergo corruption and flesh mutations.
In short, when the emperor saw him leisurely, he was heartbroken.
Even if he couldn't learn it this time, the Emperor would be able to communicate with Alexander from a distance, just as he had taught Magnus in the first place.
However, everything is not as convenient and fast as offline.
At the very least, you can do it when you can't teach.
No matter how bad it is, stuffing Alexander with a model of how psionic energy works will solve the problem.
Clearly, however, the emperor's fears were about to be dashed.
"Tut-tut, envy, I must be unbalanced in my heart."
Alexander is also a person who has been on duty, how can he not understand what kind of mentality the emperor is now.
But what can be done to take over such a mess.
Everyone in the empire wants to be lazy, but they can't help it.
If the tall man doesn't go up, the sky is really going to collapse.
Alexander figured this out, and suddenly had a toothache.
It's bad, how do you feel like you've somehow become that tall man.
However, Alexander also knew the reality that the study tasks left by the emperor were all things that had to be learned at the moment.
He simply sat down at his desk and began to read the materials according to the sorted study plan.
Time passes bit by bit,
Alexander's mental arithmetic has improved dramatically, far beyond the so-called memorization.
He can quickly form a clear treemap of the knowledge he has browsed in his mind.
And the knowledge that follows is to constantly enrich every branch on this tree.
Until knowledge reaches its end and bears fruit that can be harvested.
With this ability, Alexander understood what it means to learn to be addictive.
Because he can clearly feel that his knowledge is becoming more profound every minute and every second.
