CHAPTER XXVI
Transfiguration Charm
[Level: Level 1]
[Lock on to the enemy in advance, clearly outline the image to be transformed in your mind, release a colorless ray, and change the shape or appearance of the enemy who is hit.] The greater the mass of the transformed item or creature, the more complex the structure and the stronger the magical magnetic field, the more mana is consumed. Under the same conditions, inanimate objects are more likely to be reshaped.
γMana Cost: 2~βγ
[Transformation Library: Needle (No Upper Limit)]
[Damage: 2~β]
[Note: Regular transformation does not cause damage, and overflow damage only prolongs the transformation time of enemy units.] Dangerous transformations, such as the Vanishing Charm, which reduces enemy units to nothingness, will deal the amount of damage to enemy units with mana plus health.
[Effective distance: 20m, after exceeding 20m, spell damage will be decayed, every 1m, decay 1 point]
[Note: The damage is equal to the mana cost.] Example: without taking into account the mass and structure of the enemy unit. Enemy units with 3 mana need a transformation spell with a mana cost greater than 3 to transform them. If the Transfiguration Spell deals 4 damage. Enemies are 21m away from each other, and they cannot transform enemy units.
[Magic Book Level: Level 2 (1000/500)]
This is the spell card of the Transfiguration Spell, the Vanishing Spell, and the Transformation Spell, all of which belong to the Transfiguration Spell, and one card is used for multiple purposes.
It can be compared to the god card of [Boggart].
In class, Bagill also relied on spells to turn matches into needles before Hermione.
Got a compliment and a touch of the head from the cat professor.
It's a pity that Seamus suddenly made an explosion that made the happy time of touching his head come to an end.
It's not without its benefits, though.
No longer obsessed with touching his head, and recalling the details of the spell, Bagill noticed a difference.
He had discovered before that casting spells is like swinging a fist, and the magic power will not be consumed by the fist, but in the process of swinging the fist, the physical strength will be consumed.
But the Transfiguration Charm, the power of the ethereal spirit, replaced some of the physical strength.
Maybe the rational mantra is mental power, and the sensibility is physical strength?
The image of the clear needle that had been sketched in my mind before casting the spell disappeared the moment the spell was fired.
They were filled as if they were ammunition.
Subsequent casts need to be re-outlined.
Although the speed of sketching will be faster because it has already been sketched once.
When I think of the concept of needles, the corresponding image will automatically emerge.
But it's also too much trouble.
Unless you rely on the [Magic Book] to cast spells, you will not be able to 'consume' mana.
However, this is just an idea before the other courses have started.
In the afternoon, the next session was Charms lesson.
Flitwick, who was short, first shocked Baguill by his appearance.
He is not as white-haired as in the first few films, but as in the later films, he wears a small dress, black hair, and his hair is neatly combed.
The rest of the lesson surprised Bagil, who had taught himself a few spells.
Some of the bullet points are not mentioned in the book at all.
Professor Flitwick talked about the concept of charm: changing the intrinsic properties of the object of the spell.
All spells are the infusion of one's own feelings into the spell, so that the nature of the object of the spell changes.
For example, the Levitation Charm.
When casting spells, in addition to the standard pronunciation of the spell and the accurate trajectory of the spell swing, it is best to brew a floating feeling in your heart.
In the words of martial arts novels, the sword moves are accurate, and while shouting out the number of moves, there must be a corresponding sword intent.
Take, for example, the lighting spell that was actually learned in this lesson.
The point of casting a spell is actually to imagine a little fluorescence in your mind and let it fire with the spell.
When reciting the mantra [fluorescent flicker], where to be light, where to be heavy, where to be slow, where to be urgent.
The shaking of the wand when it is waved is not really important.
If these two are achieved, they can actually be successfully cast.
But only by finding the corresponding meaning is the real spell.
A perfect 'swordsmanship' that has both form and spirit.
Harry didn't feel anything about Professor Flitwick's words.
Hermione just jotted it down.
Because, these words are only in one sentence.
In the rest of the lesson, Professor Flitwick focused on the accuracy of the muzzle and wand swing.
The importance of the mantra is that it is a mental hint and a limiter that restricts the power of the spell.
This is also why some young wizards who are naturally skilled do not use the Lighting Charm as a Flash Charm.
Harry, too, relied on these two points in the back to easily master the Illumination Charm.
But Bagill is different.
He has a [Magic Book], although he has not made the Illumination Charm into a spell card.
But when pre-making, the data of the spell will also appear in parts.
According to the Spellbook, the mana cost of this spell is 2.
However, he tried to cast a spell with a more intuitive and reduced amount of 'mana', imagining a little fluorescent spell in his mind.
The 'mana' cost is 1.
So, whether it's a rational or emotional spell, it actually needs the addition of spiritual power?
For wizards who don't have 'magic'.
Their magic is strong and resistant, and they are an inseparable whole.
If the beginner's mana is too high, a stun spell can kill someone.
Only when the proficiency, that is, the cultivation of magic is high, can you master the severity when you use your physical strength or mental power to wield the fist of magic power.
That's why in the Charms class, the first lesson is the Lighting Charm.
Let the little wizard with weak magic power successfully cast spells and gain confidence.
Let the magical little wizards learn to adjust their power unconsciously.
In class, Bagill actually noticed that Harry's muzzle and wand swing trajectory were actually not standard.
He seems to have relied on superior magic power to fly bricks and forcibly succeed in casting spells.
Bagir suspects that he was self-taught in the first place.
That's the benefit of pure-blood wizards that have been around for a long time.
Other low-mana wizards need to work hard to correct their accents and wave their wands in order to cast spells successfully.
And the little wizard with high magic power can recite a spell casually and wave a wand to succeed.
However, this is only the early stage.
Those spells learned in the senior grades, even a high-magic little wizard needs to do a good job of these basics.
And at that time, the little wizard with low magic power, with many practices, grew older, and the magic power had already risen.
They have a solid foundation and are just as easy as they are in the senior classes.
And the little wizards with high magic power who rely on their talent need to correct the bad habits they developed in the lower grades in order to progress.
Just like the agarwood beating Erlang God in the early stage of the Baolian lamp, he is a little bit worse than anything, and everything is bad when he accumulates.
Wait, could this be another reason why the Slytherins are stronger?
They are born with high magic powers.
Accustomed to wielding the fist of magic with physical strength, he doesn't even pay attention to the basics.
Their physical strength has always been exercised, and with genetics, their bodies have always been thick and burly.
And when you reach the senior year, you suddenly find that you are weaker than the Muggle family and the half-blood little wizards, you can't help but be disappointed.
Coupled with the [Dark Arts Mastery] talent that is almost all available, you can only gain confidence in the dark magic that can be performed by relying on malice.
And because black magic can make people's characters dark and evil.
So that's why there are more dark wizards in Slytherin?
Among the wizards who have good transfiguration spells, there are relatively few dark wizards.
Is it because it requires the wizard to use psychic powers in the first place?
A little wizard with high magic power and bad habits, in the senior year, can also rely on the addition of spiritual power without correcting bad habits and not falling behind.
So as not to go into the arms of black magic.
Outrageous. It's really outrageous.
These are things that you can't really feel when you travel into this world, become a little wizard, and get an education.
