[Fake LEX] original biography - "Long Night Star" Fujimaru Rika (3)
[Early Rebellion]
When Forgrim, who had been seduced by Chaos and had defected to the War Commander, found Rika Fujimaru, who was crushing a serious rebellion on Nostramo. Given the relationship between the two primordials and the awkward position of the Eighth Legion in the Empire, the purple-clothed phoenix was already quite confident in convincing the Long Night Star to join the commander, but the success of the matter was still beyond his expectations:
At the moment when they met under the gorgeous honor guards of the two legions, the two primordials had just exchanged pleasantries according to the proper etiquette, and Fujimaru Rika said to Fogream: "I already know what you are talking about, and I agree. ”
While it's no secret that Rika Fujimaru's talent for accurate prophecy surpasses even that of all primordials, the fact that things are going so well still makes Forgrim suspicious. To verify that she was right, the purple-clad phoenix spent fifteen days in Nostramo's orbit with Rika Fujimaru, who used the time to successfully dispel all of the former's doubts. Eventually, Fogham returned to Warlord's side and reported the constructive good news to Horus, admitting that he was jealous of Fujimaru Rika's control over his legion, as there was absolutely no opposition from the Midnight Lords when Fujimaru announced that she would follow Warlord.
But what no one other than the Midnight Lord knows, or understands, is that Rika Fujimaru enjoys an unusually close bond with her legionnaires. While supernatural attraction is often felt between the primordial and their genetic offspring, only Rika Fujimaru is able to use this ability, rather than psionic power, to covertly convey precise words and instructions to her offspring. Rika Fujimaru took advantage of this, and made the entire legion coordinate and perfectly perform the fact that "the Midnight Lord fell to the commander at the behest of the original body" in front of Vogrim, and in the next few contacts, successfully dispelled the suspicions of all the rebels.
During this time, she continued to maintain regular contact with Terra's Guard Roger Dorn. For some inexplicable reason, there was a long history of co-development between the Midnight Lords and the Fist of the Empire on some sort of subspace navigation technology, which did not stop in the final period of time before the start of the Great Rebellion. The reason given by Rika Fujimaru was that if the research progress was suddenly suspended, it would be difficult for him not to get to the bottom of it with Roger Dorn's character. The marshal agreed, and because Fujimaru had said that she could disclose her phone calls and research logs with Dorn to everyone, and that she didn't care that the other brothers tampered with the messages she was about to send to Dorn, the incident did not cause much alarm among the rebels.
It wasn't until the massacre at the landing ground on Istavan V. that the shocking fact that the Midnight Lords did not rebel finally came to light. The rebels' original plan was for the Midnight Lords to enter with the Iron Warriors, the Whisperers, and the Alpha Legion to deal a devastating blow on the Loyalist Legion that had been fighting for a long time. And Fujimaru Rika did order the Midnight Lords here to show off their masterful and fearsome killing skills—sadly, to the Alpha Legion and the Bearers deployed on the left and right flanks of her legion.
While phosphorus bombs and cluster bombs rained down on the "friendly" formations from the air, the fact that the Midnight Lords had not rebelled was shockingly revealed, and that Rika Fujimaru and her legions apparently had only superficial obedience to the truth of the Empire. She and her legion had apparently been secretly researching and developing some sort of psionic technology for a long time, and it had been very effective. With a psionic modification known as "Ortenus" that is well compatible with most models of power armor, some "suitable" Midnight Lord warriors can borrow the power of a specific subspace entity to fight in the real universe at a fraction of the cost, and it is with these rare warriors who have been blessed by other forces that the Midnight Lord can tear apart the rebel lines by surprise and clear a path for the loyal legions to retreat when they are outnumbered and individually combated.
During the short window of time in the battlefield, the besieged and almost depleted Raven Guards and Salamanders all made the decision to retreat immediately, but Ferus Manus, who was burned out of anger and ran out of reason, still charged in the direction of the commander's fortress in the distance. The Iron Hand primordial collided with Fogrem on its march, and the two demigods engaged in a fierce duel between the mountains of corpses and a sea of blood, even changing the color of the heavens and the earth. And at the moment when Ferus was about to lose the whole game, Rika Fujimaru, who was rushing from the battle line from a distance with only a flying bag combat team, hit Fergrim at the last moment, saving Ferus Manus from the sword of the slasher.
According to Ferus Manus's own recollections, after he was able to recover from the injuries he had suffered, he saw Fogham questioning Rika Fujimaru's loyalty to the battle marshal. The latter replied, "I have never surrendered my allegiance to anyone but myself, be it the emperor or the war commander." As early as when you and I first met, fate revealed to me the tragic situation of today: no matter what, there will be a Primordial on today's Istavan V. who has fallen, and I don't intend to let fate decide on this choice. ”
She then ordered the Iron Hand to retreat, and threw herself into battle without hesitation, fighting the rebels under the roar and roar of naval guns, various aircraft, war engines, and even the Titans, until they died of exhaustion. According to the survivors of the Midnight Lords of this battle, until the last moment, before the desperate point in time that Rikka Fujimaru herself had already revealed to them, the original body had read the battlefield through some esoteric method and issued orders to all of her genetic children with that vague connection.
Although the Midnight Lord succeeded in achieving the strategic objective of the battle, which was to preserve and receive the Loyalists from the meat grinder of Istavan V. as much as possible, the loss of the Primordial - even though the Primordial himself had anticipated it and had informed all of his genetic offspring of this fate before the battle - led to a demoralization of the Legion that inevitably suffered massive attrition. But it is worth noting, and rightfully so, that those who were summoned by Rika Fujimaru and led to Istavan V. were only a small part of her legion.
