The Lanhai Fort is located in the canyon of the Lanhai Mountains in the western part of the Aemia Wasteland, and the only way to enter and exit the Lanhai Mountains is the central passage of the city, which also divides the entire city into two, and the City Lord's Mansion is a suspended city, standing directly above the canyon.

For hundreds of years, this historic city has prospered on the tolls paid by the various forces entering and leaving the Lanhai Mountains, and the lord of the city, Trini, is a human sorcerer who has returned from the distant land of the Tower, and because of his kindness, he has been recognized and supported by the surrounding ethnic groups since his succession.

It's just that when Raymond and his party were about to arrive at Lanhai Mountain, the desertified one-eyed sandman Shariman triggered an invisible warning, causing a group of hideous and ferocious Iron Ji Beasts to quickly pounce!

Shaliman, who had been fighting with the tooth beast Salomé all the way, had always been at a disadvantage, so when the invisible warning was triggered, it was furious and immediately prepared to attack this group of iron beasts.

The Iron Ji Beast, which was no more than three or five meters long and could only use its numerical superiority and racial talent to unleash attacks, was already destined to stage a tragedy from the moment it was seen by Shaliman.

It's just that just as the arms of the one-eyed sandman Shariman were waving and preparing to attack, a demonic beast that appeared in vain from the direction of Lanhai Mountain immediately stopped the Iron Ji Beast that was about to start a siege, and roared at Raymond in the sand mist. "Dare to ask Lord Raymond and his party who came from the Amia Wasteland?"

Shaliman, who was about to teach these Iron Beasts a lesson, immediately stopped, but Raymond, who heard the beast's shout, was a little surprised. Because the sound is so familiar!

And the toothed beast Salome jumped out of the sand mist directly, and after looking at this demonic beast with a suspicious gaze for a moment, he shouted in surprise. "Aren't you the head of the guard beside Halig?"

When he saw the tooth beast Salome leap out, he lifted the protection of his force field. When even bowed down to apologize to Raymond in the sand and mist. "Dear Lord Raymond, I hope you ...... Haihan"

Raymond, who came out of the sand mist, looked at the manticore in front of him and asked. "Heirig is here too?"

"Returning to my lordship, Lord Hailig has returned to the Xilan Alliance......" The manticore, which was more than four meters tall, understood the meaning of Raymond's words, and quickly complained of his bitterness.

It turned out that after Raymond left, the Xilan Alliance received news that the human wizard team that attacked the gathering place of the Winged Tiger Clan in the north of Lanhai Mountain decisively withdrew to Lanhai Fort after encountering a strong counterattack. However, because it had captured dozens of young winged tigers in its previous sneak attack and collected hundreds of carcasses of winged tigers, it made the counterattack team that rushed to hear the news bite tightly behind. And sent a message to the Xilan Alliance asking for support.

In this way, Halig arranged for the leader of his guards to come to watch the battle on his behalf, and knowing that Raymond was about to come to the castle of Lanhai, the manticore offered to be stationed here.

"Lord Raymond, because many demonic beast gathering areas do not allow human wizards to arrive directly. So Master Haelig has asked me to apologize to you......"

Raymond, who waved his hand to show understanding, asked. "So has the young winged tiger that has been captured now been rescued?"

"It's been a siege for two days. Although the teleportation array in this place cannot be used, it still can't break through the inherent defense of Lanhai Fort in a short period of time," turned around and pointed at the manticore lion in the direction of Lanhai Mountain, but there was no frustration in his tone. "But the team that comes next will definitely find them all out, and will definitely not let any member of this team escape!"

Speaking of the murderous manticores in the end, Raymond understood that this siege was likely to be a powerful move by the Xilan Alliance, and that the team coming from the Tower Land would never have a chance of escaping.

It's just that in terms of the combat power of the Warcraft that has arrived here so far, it can only ensure that the human wizard team in the Lanhai Fort cannot leave. But if they want to break through the Lanhai Fort and capture them, the combat power they have is far from enough.

So let the manticore lead the way in front of Raymond. He asked directly. "When is it estimated that the team sent by the Xilan Alliance will arrive?"

"It's almost fast, the first team will arrive in three days, and it is estimated that in ten days, we can launch a strong attack to take the Lanhai Fort......"

The Manticore's tone was very excited, but Raymond was a little depressed when he heard this.

Because it took him a week to get here from the Aemia Wasteland, and if he wanted to use the intercity teleportation array in the Lanhai Fort, he had to wait for the Xilan Alliance to break through here, and he also needed the Lanhai Fort to be intact when the teleportation array was broken through the city!

It's just that according to the practice of the war between humans and Warcraft, if the human city is breached, it means that there will be a tragedy of slaughtering the city!

The entire city will be reduced to rubble under the attack of the monsters, and all humans who can be found will be killed for food or become the object of anger!

Thinking of this, Raymond asked. "What kind of city is Lanhai Fort?"

"Originally, this was only a medium-sized city, but the expansion that began here a hundred years ago made Lanhai Fort a medium-sized and large city similar to a fortress, and the number of ordinary people did not increase significantly, but the number of city guards and wizards directly under the city lord's mansion has exceeded 1,000 ......."

But when Raymond heard the number, he immediately sensed that something was wrong, stopped moving forward and shouted at the manticore. "A thousand, even a medium-sized and large inland city wouldn't have so many wizards stationed there!"

"The wizard team that set out from the Lanhai Fort to attack the Winged Tiger Clan, they also completely erased the six Warcraft Stations they passed along the way before attacking the Winged Tiger Clan's station, so even the information of the Lanhai Fort was only recollected in the past few days......

When he said this, there was a thick indignation in the manticore's eyes, and then he roared irrepressibly. "Lord Raymond, none of the human wizards in this team can be disposed of by you, they must be sent to the Blood Altar of the Xilan Alliance!"

Facing the manticore's angry eyes, and feeling the extremely unfriendly gaze of those Iron Beasts around him, Raymond was a little gloomy.

The six Warcraft settlements were supposed to be the spicy hands of this human wizard team in order to avoid the leakage of news, but the number of Warcraft that were exterminated because of this must be staggering.

But why such a human city far away from the land of towers has such a strong defensive force is also worth pondering.

Raymond, who motioned for the manticore to continue leading the way, continued to ask. "What are the number of ordinary people in the Lanhai Castle?"

"It should be less than 100,000, I don't know much about this......"

The manticore lion that answered Raymond's questions all the way and quickly led Raymond into the Lanhai Mountain Canyon made Raymond see the Lanhai Fort located in the canyon!

The canyon, which was originally 100 meters wide, suddenly narrowed when it approached the Lanhai Fort, and the main city of the Lanhai Fort, which was built according to the mountains on both sides, was located directly above the canyon!

From a distance, you can see the defensive barricades that cover the entire main city of Lanhai Fort, as well as those attack points embedded in the main city walls!

"Both ends have been blocked, and there is a spatial interference set up by the Tieji Beast Clan above the canyon, and the current rescue team has sufficient strength to launch a siege, but it is difficult to storm under this terrain......"

Looking beyond the defense line built by the monsters in front of him, Raymond saw the gate of the Lanhai Fort in the canyon, and followed Raymond with the assistance of the vision given by the chip, and also saw the situation at the other end of the Lanhai Fort.

In front of the defense line built by many demonic beasts, not only trenches have been dug, but also many obstacles have been laid out to break through, and there is a camp-like station in the distance behind it.

And those Iron Ji Beasts soaring above the sky, although they launched tentative dives downward from time to time, they would suffer from the long-range attack of the Lanhai Fort before they could get close, and they didn't even have a chance to get close!

With a siege like a net and a tight defense like an iron bucket, the war is obviously on the verge of breaking out...... (To be continued......)
