Chapter 4: The Evil Charm of the Coffin
What is an urn coffin?
To put it simply, children and young people who die in infancy cannot be buried in coffins, but must be put in clay pots, and usually the bodies of children can be completely incorporated into clay pots.
Coincidentally, when I was thirteen years old, my grandfather and I handled an urn coffin, so I know a little about this thing.
But what I didn't expect was that there were so many mountains in our village, and my grandfather had never told me about it.
It is no wonder that this mountain is unmined, and ordinary people dare not set foot in this mountain at all.
At this time, I was still in the middle of the mountainside, there was still a long mountain road from the Guanyin Temple, I didn't dare to stay here longer, among all the burial methods, the urn coffin burial was the most evil, the dead children and young people could not go beyond it at all, and it was very likely to turn into a ghost and get away with it.
So I hurried to the top of the mountain and finally saw the Guanyin Temple.
Under the illumination of the flashlight, I could see the whole picture of the Guanyin Temple.
The temple is in tatters, all kinds of vines wrap around the temple, and there are urn coffins piled up inside and outside the Guanyin Temple, which seems to have been placed for a long time.
The urn coffin on this mountain, not one thousand but eight hundred, seems to be quiet on the surface, but I feel that the whole mountain is full of people.
I carefully walked around these urns, some of which had rune paper pasted on the top, and the rune paper was different colors, yellow, purple, blue, red......
Grandpa said that the darker the color of the rune paper, the higher the Tao.
Whoever sticks to the coffin will be evil!
The darker the color of the rune paper, the more evil the coffin will be suppressed, this is the ever-changing truth.
I didn't dare to make a mistake, I walked into the Guanyin Temple and looked around, and found that there were dozens of statues of gods placed in it, and I couldn't find the Jizo King Bodhisattva for a while.
No matter how much I searched, I still couldn't find it.
I even suspect that the temple does not have the Jizo King Bodhisattva at all.
I was so anxious that I accidentally knocked down a statue, so I quickly picked it up and hurriedly said, "Children are not sensible, there is no wonder."
The idols here are not good at stubble, some of the idols cover their eyes with red cloths, after all, they are all used to suppress the urn coffins on the mountain, and they are no longer ordinary idols worshiped at home, and they still have to be respected.
But it just so happened that I saw another idol under the table, and it was the Jizo King Bodhisattva I was looking for!
But next to the statue of King Jizo Bodhisattva, there was a child squatting bare and purple.
The child is about two or three years old, wet all over, and it shivers all over, not cold, but angry, like a dog that sees a stranger and may pounce at any time.
At this time, I realized that I was the only one living on this mountain!
I was born with heterogeneous pupils, and I was able to see dirty things at will, and this time was no exception.
But I didn't see anything, and I cowered and reached for it, and the boy suddenly turned on a hideous face and threw himself directly at me.
I didn't have time to dodge the whole person and fell to the ground, I thought I would be attacked by a child, but I found that there was nothing on my body, and then look around, where are there any children, Guanyin Temple is very quiet, and there is no movement.
At this moment, I snatched the Jizo King Bodhisattva and ran out.
Now I think about it as quickly as I go down the mountain, even if there is a steep road for me to roll down.
The wind was already blowing outside, and the sudden sound of bells stopped me, while the sounds of children's playfulness, laughter, and cries mingled together.
It's empty, but it's lively.
I slowly looked back at the Guanyin Temple, and saw a bunch of children near the temple, these children looked very crippled, if I guessed correctly, they should all be dead children.
But it wasn't these little ghosts that scared me, it was a child standing inside the temple.
This child should also look like he should be about five or six years old, it is lying on the ground like a dog, and its appearance makes the other little ghosts instantly quiet, as if this child is the ghost king in this group of little ghosts.
Could it be that you're here to stop me from taking away the statue of the Jizo King Bodhisattva?
But when I saw its appearance clearly, the whole person was stunned!
Isn't that me!
I read that right, the child lying on all fours in front of me is exactly what I looked like when I was a child.
Even though I don't have any memories before I was ten years old, I still have pictures of me when I was a child, and this little ghost in front of me looks exactly like me!
It's not an illusion, it's real!
It was crawling towards me, and I was already too scared to move.
From its eyes, I could see the grievances, and it wanted to kill me.
I had no experience in this and stood like a lamb to the slaughter.
Seeing that the other one was already standing up and moving closer to my body, my mind went blank and I didn't know what it was going to do next.
"Get out!"
The second uncle's voice came from behind me.
The sound thundered and pulled me back from my fright.
At this time, the second uncle's hand grabbed my shoulder, and his tone was reproachful.
"Didn't I tell you, no matter who told you, don't look back!"
I knew I was wrong, so I bowed my head and didn't dare to say anything.
"Let's go, go home." The second uncle patted me on the shoulder and led me down the mountain.
I was silent on the way, and if my second uncle hadn't appeared in time, I didn't know what would have happened.
But why would that imp be me?
For this question, I couldn't help but ask the second uncle.
The second uncle kept silent about the matter and kept leading me down the mountain.
Due to the steepness of the mountain road and the fact that there is not much electricity for the flashlight, the scope of the lighting gradually decreases, and I accidentally fell again, and the whole person rolled down the mountain.
"Ah Yang!"
The second uncle called me.
"It's fine!"
I replied loudly to the second uncle, for fear that he would not be able to hear.
As soon as I stood up, the second uncle suddenly appeared in front of me!
I was stunned on the spot!
Why did the second uncle appear in front of me so soon?
"Where's the stuff?" The second uncle asked me.
I just found out that the Jizo King Bodhisattva is no longer in my hands, could it be that he fell off when he just fell?
"Ah Yang, where are you?" The second uncle suddenly asked again, but this time the second uncle's voice came from above.
I suddenly realized something was wrong.
There was a second uncle standing beside him, and there was a second uncle on it.
I had the courage to shine a flashlight on the two second uncles, and the two of them also saw each other.
What's going on?
"Ah Yang, you were born with yin and yang eyes, but if you don't walk deeply, you will be blinded! Come up to me," said the second uncle on the mountainside.
Because of the existence of the second uncle, I feel safe, and what he said makes me feel like the real second uncle.
I was going to go up, but I was caught by the second uncle next to me.
"Follow me down the mountain!" The second uncle beside him said in a cold tone.
As soon as the words fell, the second uncle next to me suddenly carried me on his shoulders and ran down the mountain.
And the second uncle on the mountainside kept shouting my name, and he had already caught up.
After chasing each other, I fell off my second uncle's back and rolled down the mountain again, but during the tumble, I saw the statue of Jizo King Bodhisattva, put it in my clothes and wrapped it, but my head instantly fell unconscious because of hitting a hard object.
