If you sacrifice merits and holy deeds, why do you say strange things and disturb the gods! The sacrifices of the people of the world are needed by the world." Could it be that the one who needs it is not the holy practice of Lord Bo Yu to control the water, but the evil of the evil and the cruelty?"

The "benevolence" that Ziqiu said when he talked about world affairs and the "benevolence" that Huwa said when he talked about cultivation are two concepts. The "benevolence" mentioned by Huwa is closer to the meaning of "partiality", the way of heaven is constant, not only because of whom, and the "benevolence" said by Ziqiu is closer to the meaning of "need", everyone needs or wants others to treat themselves, this is the origin of "benevolence", and then evolves into how everyone should treat others, first of all, the people around them, and then promote to the people of the world.

I don't know how to treat the people around me, I don't know how to treat the ancestors who gave me everything, I don't know how to solve the real needs of the world, so in Ziqiu's opinion, I don't deserve to talk about any sacrifice, let alone what I believe in. People never become nobler because they believe in any god, and nobility only lies in the cultivation of virtue and the ability to truly solve the needs of the world.

Ziqiu continued: "Lord Boyu leads all the departments in the world to control the water, which is the holy act of merit. The water demon who brutalized the people, in front of Lord Boyu, also deserves to call himself the god of Huai?

Ziqiu is not only here to interrogate the four uncles today, but also to solve the problem, and he must make his words clear so that everyone can understand the reason. There are many tribes who are not even willing to follow Boyu to contribute to water control because of Huaishen. Isn't it clear what Wuzhiqi did, what Boyu did, who to follow, and what kind of Sunnah to honor?

Ziqiu was a disciple of Hou Gang and a student and assistant of Gaotao, and his evaluation of Boyu and Wuzhiqi was also appropriate. He told the elders that what should be honored is not the so-called gods and monsters at all, but the real merit Sunnah. In later generations, Gaotao was revered as a saint by both Legalism and Confucianism, and Boyu was revered as a saint by both Mohists and Confucianism, which originated from this.

If you just talk about believing, claiming that if you don't serve me, you will suffer, and if you don't serve me, you will have both gain and virtue, in Ziqiu's view, it is a thief's virtue, and it is the same as Wuzhiqi and the four uncles.

The people who are virtuous and the things that are virtuous are common in later generations, and the sages have already said it.

Ziqiu's words today are not only Boyu's advice but also Gaotao's teaching, representing the enlightenment of a kind of civilized thought. The above-mentioned sects have also spread in China in later generations, but they have never become the mainstream, because the source of Chinese civilization and cultural traditions is here, and the saints have been enlightened for a long time.

What Ziqiu said today also represents an attitude towards ghosts and gods, and when many foreign ideas, religions, and doctrines were introduced into China in later generations, people looked at, transformed, and absorbed them with attitudes that were closer to philosophy than to theology.

At this point in Ziqiu's words, everyone left their seats and bowed: "We should follow Lord Boyu to control the water, and we will do our best to raise the power of the clan!"
