Section 6 Confrontation

Sixth quarter confrontation

Before it was completely dark, Budguz gave the order to camp. The land is really confusing, and there is a certain strange atmosphere that is disturbing.

Budguz had just become the leader of the goblins three days earlier. The process was simple, he slaughtered three other goblins who had declared themselves their leaders, paying the price of one eye in exchange for a thousand of his men. This deal is a good deal. And if he can really take possession of this land, he will become a great chief. You must know that many of the green skins that have been defeated by the dwarves roam the northern part of the Black Hills. Once he was able to take possession of the place completely, the greenskins would swarm over the Black Hills to follow him.

However, many Greenskin legends describe the land south of the Black Hill as a place of death. More than a group of greenskins tried to climb over the Black Hills to see this strange land and see if there was anything here worthy of their conquest and enslavement. But no greenskin ever went back.

However, Budguz proved that this is not the legendary dark swamp full of death. It's a rich forest, and it's a good base for a big chief.

But if this is harmless land, then why would the greenskinned tribes who used to climb over the black hills to get here suddenly disappear?

Ever since he came here, a feeling of being watched has always lingered. But no matter how they searched, they found nothing suspicious. But this feeling made him understand that it was quite dangerous to rush into the depths of the forest.

His team avoided all the dense forests as much as possible, and only made careful progress in the sparsely wooded areas. At first, the goblins were cautious, but after a long time, their nature kicked in, and they began to become noisy and chaotic. Budguz managed to control the situation with a whip.

Luckily, nothing dangerous until the camp.

"Put Scrooge outside, and if anyone sneaks up at night, let Scrooge deal with them!" he shouted.

Budguzshan burrowed into his chief's tent. He has a thousand men, and he will conquer this land. The inhabitants of this place, whatever they were, had to be shackled and driven by whips to work for him. Of course, it can also be baked and put into the stomach.

Then he can recruit the leaderless guerrillas to disperse, and when the time comes, he can arm a large army, and then go all the way to the south, to the east, to the west, to the north...... Expansion momentum......

He did this with his dream of becoming a great leader, commanding thousands or even tens of thousands of green-skinned soldiers, until he was awakened by the commotion outside. Ignited rockets were fired into the camp, and the Scroogs let out a shrill scream, and chaos ensued.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Boss, there is an enemy!"

"You idiots! Get Scroog out of the city at once! Bite the enemy to death! There aren't many of them!" he thought clearly, Scroog was the best hunter in the night. A group of Scroogg's teeth have killed many powerful warriors who are alone. This is the forest, but even if these mysterious enemies go up to the trees, it won't change anything, but better. Scroog would guard them, and by daybreak he would know what kind of enemy he was dealing with, and he would be able to capture the prisoners.

"Release Scroog! Release the Goblin!" shouted the goblins in the darkness.

The goblins in charge of Scrooge use tools such as flutes, bars, and animal entrails to drive Scroog after these dark enemies. These war beasts have long been restlessly waiting for their chance to attack. Driven away by their masters, the Sgurgs let out a terrible roar as they swooped forward following the clear scent left behind by the sneak attackers.

These bipedal creatures are far more swift than they seem, and their sense of smell ensures that they can keep track of their enemies. Neither the forest nor the darkness can protect them.

In a forest, far away from the goblin camp, someone began to call the shots.

"They're coming, get ready!"

The Sgroogs rushed straight into the forest. They used to chase only a limited number of enemies, but now suddenly the entire forest is full of enemies. The enemies are hiding in the tall trees. The Sgoogers began to roar and scream under the trees, some wandered under the trees, and some began to gnaw on the trunks.

The half-beasts began to attack the enemies under the trees with their blowguns. With the help of their good dark vision, blow after arrow accurately hit the war beast under the tree. After being hit by the blow arrows, the roaring creatures began to stagger and their screams slowly subsided. Then, their bodies began to twitch, and a viscous black liquid flowed from their massive mouths.

Many of the Scroogs began to vomit while lying on the ground, and some even vomited their own internal organs, splashing on the ground with a pungent stench. Others, barely alive, were attacked by Shortbow. Because of their proximity, the bow and arrow could easily pierce their thick skin and penetrate deep into their bodies. Soon, all the Scroogs were like stones and never moved again.

"Succeeded, let's retreat!"

By the time Budguz tracked down the forest, it was already early in the morning. The forest was littered with Scroog's corpses, and almost every corpse had turned black and smelled fishy. His men found blowguns and bows from Scroog's corpse, but these strange weapons made of wood were unlike any enemy they had ever touched.

"Look for it, can't you find more?!" Budguz nearly whipped one of his men off the nose. "I want to know who our enemy is!"

"Boss, I found it. A goblin dragged Scrooge's corpse to Budguz's side. In the dead Scoogg's mouth, an arm was half-hung on Scrooge's sharp teeth.

"Peel this off!"

The goblins dismembered Scroog and dragged a strange creature out of its belly. It's a bit like a human but has a lot of hair, and Budguz has never seen anything like it. But he saw that the creature was smaller than he was.

Then, a few more Scroogs were dragged over. Every creature in Scroog's belly was pretty much the same, and it was now certain that it was this enemy that had attacked them last night.

"Boys, don't be afraid, our enemies are weak! they're fast, but we're stronger!" he cheered his men up. His words worked. After seeing the details of the enemy, the goblins immediately got rid of their hesitation and fear, and became brave with their shouting. Such creatures – whatever they may be – are no match for goblins.

But tonight he didn't have Scrooge to defend. Budguz is well aware of this.

But he doesn't need to be as cautious as he was yesterday. These weak creatures are no match for the Greenskins, and all they can do is sneak attack.

"Let's find them all and kill them all!"

......

"Although we managed to eliminate the greenskinned Sgoog last night, we only lost five or six soldiers. The Great Elder said to Ashrufat. The latter was carefully looking at the cliff beneath his feet. "But I'm afraid they'll pounce on Mother Earth's altar, and Greenskin isn't too far away right now. ”

"So we must attack them during the day!" replied Ashrufat. "Draw them here. ”

It's not a very wide cliff, but it's not something that any animal can jump over. However, the half-beasts grabbed the rattan on the cliff and could leap over. On this side of the cliff, hundreds of Semu are building a simple low earthen wall out of stone and earth.

A sharp whistle came from ahead.

"The enemy is coming!

The Semu who were busy all left their work behind and picked up their blowguns and shields.

Then, a group of Semu appeared on the other side of the cliff, and they immediately grabbed the rattan and swung it in this direction.

Then hordes of goblins swarmed out from the opposite side, and the few who rushed to the front failed to stop, screaming and sliding down the cliff.

"Shoot the arrows!"

The goblins immediately began to shoot, and the arrows struck the Sem clan behind the most elusive. He let out a scream, let go of his grip on the rattan, and disappeared below the cliff.

Then, the Semu tribe hiding behind the earthen wall used blow arrows to shoot at the goblins. At this distance, blow arrows and bows are equally effective. Under the cover of the earthen wall, the Semu took a big advantage. The goblins were shot by arrows, screaming and falling off cliffs. Goblins' arrows have a hard time hitting the enemy.

"The archers stay here and keep shooting, and the others go for their way, get around here, rush over and kill them all!" His men scattered and began to look for a way around the cliff.

A small group of goblins ran through the forest, cursing and running. In the forest, these enemies are elusive. No one knew when the blowgun would suddenly hit their heads.

"Ahh His companions immediately searched around, but found nothing. They continued to unleash vicious curses, leaving behind their mortal companions to move on, trying to find a suitable path.

"Ahead, there's a slope ahead!" a sharp-eyed goblin cried out in surprise. They rushed forward excitedly, but their joy was interrupted instantly. In front of them, a figure emerged from its hiding place

"Human! a human! a knight!" the first goblin screamed, spear in hand. But his spear slammed into the shield and slipped away, and the sword cut off his head in one fell swoop.

The other two goblins were timid. But Ashrufat immediately jumped on them and cut them to the ground before they could turn around and flee. The goblin at the end of the day moved relatively quickly, and took advantage of the time his companions had bought him to run a considerable distance at once. But as he fled for his life, a figure fell from the sky, and the claws in his hands sliced his neck deeply.

Mimilu raised her long claws. "They...... Will it come back...... We're waiting here for ......."
