Chapter 13: Falling Star City

Changfeng galloped all the way for a hundred miles like a wild horse, and finally got a little tired, and rested against a tree for a while.

He unfolded the crumpled map, took a careful look at it, and found that he was still nearly a thousand miles away from Falling Star City.

Wei Changfeng's stomach growled, and he patted his head before he remembered that he had forgotten to bring dry food, thought about it, and got up and went into the dense forest behind him.

After eating, he decided to go to the woods to get some game to eat.

After searching for a long time, I didn't find a single bird or beast, and after walking in the forest for so long, the hunger in my stomach was even worse.

A bird almost faded out of its mouth, and it continued to search under the scorching sun.

A smart white shadow suddenly passed in front of him, and Changfeng was overjoyed and hurriedly followed.

After sneaking around for half a mile, he could see what the white shadow was.

With a long neck, a proud head was raised, and a pair of big eyes burst out with two rays of light. The small triangular ears towered over the door of the head, alert and sensitive. The whole body is snow-white, like clouds and snow, and the horse's tail is swiped, like a white lightning bolt in front of people's eyes.

The most amazing thing is that his forehead has a multicolored vertical horn, which blooms with dazzling colored light.

It's a colored wildebeest!

Changfeng was a little surprised, this spirit beast was very difficult to find, and it was the first time he had seen it in his life.

He was in a bit of a trouble, and now he was hungry and lacked the means to get around. He didn't know whether to eat the wildebeest or use it as a mount.

Be a mount! Be a mount!

He weighed it for a long time and made up his mind.

This horse can travel thousands of miles a day, and with it, you can reach Falling Star City today!

Before he could make a move, the wildebeest galloped again.

The four hooves are churning, the long mane is flying, and the magnificent posture is like a carrier pigeon that has gone through hardships across the ocean, like a petrel flying vigorously in a storm. Looking up to the sky and howling, the heartfelt neighing of horses resounded through the forest, startling flocks of birds.

"But you can really run!" Changfeng followed for several more miles, and just as he was about to change his mind and bring the colorful wildebeest to his stomach, the horse suddenly stopped, buried his head and began to eat the grass at his feet.

The long wind flew out like lightning and sat firmly on its back, and the colorful wildebeest was frightened, and jumped desperately to shake the long wind off. The long wind tugged at his mane, not moving.

It gradually exhausted a little, and the magnitude was much smaller.

Changfeng turned over and dismounted, walked straight in front of it, and in front of it, slammed a fist on a waist-thick cedar tree beside him.

The cedar tree fell in response, and slammed into the ground with a "boom", and the dust was flying.

Changfeng clenched his fists, shook it in front of its eyes, and snorted.

The pupils of the colored wildebeest showed a hint of fear, and he picked up the ponytail, much more honest.

Changfeng turned over and got on his horse, grabbed the horse's belly between his legs, and galloped through the forest.

His stomach was hungrier.

Looking at the colorful wildebeest under him, Changfeng's eyes bloomed with green light, and saliva couldn't help but flow from the corners of his mouth, ticking and falling on the flying horsemane.

The rainbow horse neighed, trembled timidly, its hooves churned, its speed was a little faster, and it flew towards Falling Star City.

Under its hard running, the journey of thousands of miles is fleeting, and the majestic Falling Star City is already close at hand!

"It's finally here!" Seeing the vermilion lacquered wooden door enlarge sharply in front of him, Changfeng breathed a long sigh of relief.

He reined in his horse at the gate, paid a silver coin in pain, and led the horse into the city under the scrutinizing gaze of the defenders.

"It's so prosperous!" he couldn't help but marvel at as soon as he entered the city gates.

"Not only is it prosperous, but the aura is much richer than our village!" he sighed with a deep breath.

The sunlight spreads between the green tiles and red walls everywhere, the abrupt cornices, the high floating shop signs, the sparkling carriages and horses, the endless flow of pedestrians, and the indifferent and comfortable smiles, all of which reflect the pride of the residents of Falling Star City.

There are many houses on both sides of the street, tea houses, wine shops, foot shops, butcher shops, temples, public houses, and pharmacies, and there are many small vendors shouting loudly in the open space on both sides.

Changfeng turned his head to look at a wine shop on the side of the street, and heard the teasing of the drinkers in the wine shop, as well as the vulgar singing of those inferior singers sitting on the seats, and the pedestrians who came and went leisurely outside the open door of the wine shop.

Falling Star City is such a great place!

He secretly praised in his heart.

Changfeng led the horse forward, it was so novel that for a while even the hunger pang was temporarily forgotten.

He stopped in front of a high-rise building and looked up at the plaque with gold characters on the bottom of the gold letter, on which were written three large block letters: Yihong Building.

Changfeng was wondering what this place was, and the tip of his nose smelled a pungent fragrant wind, and then the woman's soft voice came into his ears.

"Little handsome guy is here to play!"

After the woman said this, she laughed delicately, as crisp as a silver bell.

Changfeng turned his head, and a woman stood beside him at some point, and Champa covered her mouth and smiled coquettishly.

She threw a wink at Changfeng, Changfeng's face was red with shame, and he led the horse's head and left without looking back.

His heart was pounding, and his face was on fire.

Changfeng walked around the city for a while, and he was overwhelmed by the endless shops, and he looked east and west, full of freshness.

It wasn't until his stomach rumbled again that he remembered eating.

Hunger rushed in like a tidal wave, and he clutched his contracted lower abdomen and led his horse around the city.

"Eat, eat, eat," he muttered, searching carefully.

"It smells so good!" he smelled a rich aroma.

The taste of the food!

He searched for the aroma and walked all the way until he stopped in front of a restaurant.

This is a five-storey brick building, with black tiles and white walls, and the top of the tower is like a cover, which is magnificent and simple and dignified.

A little second came out of the door, put a white towel on his shoulder, and greeted him with a smile.

"The guest officer is coming to dinner?"

Changfeng nodded.

"Okay, please inside!" he gestured to Changfeng to go in first, and helped him lead the horse into the stable.

Changfeng went up to the top floor, sat in a position by the window, and the breeze brushed his cheeks, it was really pleasant.

The shopkeeper brought a jar of wine and sifted a bowl for him.

He picked up the bowl and sniffed the tip of his nose slightly.

That's the smell that hooked him!

He sniffed again, frowning to discern what it was.

His brow furrowed suddenly, and he already had an answer in his heart.

"The aroma of malt!"
